Yesterday I cooked chicken legs in spices. It turned out delicious, the chicken turned out to be very soft. But I am interested in the question, dear users of the CUCKOO 0821 multicooker, please tell me, is it possible to cook fried chicken in this model or is it possible in the Panasonic multicooker thanks to the "Baking" mode? It's just that my chicken looked more like a stew ...
Tanyulya
The less sauce the chicken is in, the more roasted you get. Or try it on turbo. Good luck.

Hello!
Acquired m / s CUCKOO CR-0821FI. On the panel and in the instructions only 4 programs are indicated: regular, brown, multi-cook and porridge. Programs for baking, stewing and other cooking technologies are not indicated anywhere. Knowledgeable people, please tell me how to use these methods: baking, stewing, milk porridge, etc.

how to use such methods: baking, stewing, milk porridge, etc.
bobagrom, baked goods are made thanks to the Multicook program. The time for baking a biscuit, a pie, I have about 60 minutes + 20 minutes. Then I turn off the cartoon and let the baking stand with the lid closed for 20 minutes. Braising again with a Multi-Cook. When I cook milk porridge, I choose the "Porridge" mode. In fact, everything is simple in our model, you have to try. It is very good that during cooking you can always open the lid and see what is happening there. Of course, you cannot do this while baking a biscuit. ...
I cooked pilaf on the Multipovar mode. Can someone else tell us their methods of exploiting the cartoon?
bobagrom
I'm not a magician, I'm just learning. Thanks to knowledgeable people for their help and support. I tried to stew vegetables "without anyone". The result is wonderful vegetables. Everything else can be added "to taste", but it seems to me that they (vegetables) are already self-sufficient. I want to say the same about fish.
Romashkina
Very interesting, someone cooked jellied meat using our MV? How to do it right?
Tanyulya
On a multi-cook, 4-5 hours will be enough.
Romashkina
Tanyulya, but how to make my toon work continuously for 4-5 hours? Let's say I want to cook jellied meat overnight.
Tanyulya
If you are not in a hurry in the evening I will answer, now I will come home and see how you set the time. I forgot something about what time it is on the multi-cooker.
Or maybe on what program you can cook ...
Roxolana
I bought a multicooker, I'm trying to figure it out ...
Tell me, why do you need a small plastic thing, in my instructions it is called a "container for bulk products" ...... but apparently there is an error ..... no bulk products will fit in there ...
Admin

We should see a photo of this little thing

As an application, there is a measuring cup for cereals and liquids - I saw this and use this little thing
Roxolana
It turns out that this thing is only mine))))
now I will try to take a picture ..... it is 5 cm in length and with a notch inside .... in the instructions, I never found what it was for.

Tanyulya, please me, is it possible to set the time arbitrarily in our MV? What worries me is that I do not want to get attached to the programmed modes in time. I want to cook jellied meat, which I have never cooked in my life. I want to cook it for 5 hours, how to do it?
Tanyulya
Romashkina, while honestly I can't please ... Until I finished it myself ... I found how the time in hours changes on rice ... not in minutes, but so far I can't say anything ... sorry, maybe something I'll do it until tomorrow ...
Roxolana
To be honest, I got confused with setting the time ..... the instruction is incomprehensible.
I understand that the cooking time can only be set in a multi-cooker from 10-60 minutes. But what if the recipe says 1.30 minutes?

As for the "porridge" mode, I cannot understand, is the time automatic there? And then the porridge is being cooked, but I do not know how much it will be cooked, and time has already passed. Need to pinpoint or what?
Yes, in principle, I do not understand the rest of the programs with the setting of time ... if possible, then explain ...

Sorry for such stupid questions, otherwise I'm like a hedgehog in a fog ... I press all the buttons and I can't understand anything.
Romashkina
Roxolana, with the setting of the time, I think there should be no problems. They plugged it into the network, pressed the "Hour" button, held the button a little longer, two dots began blinking between hours and minutes - so you can customize it. At the beginning, press constantly on the "hour" - adjust the clock. Pay attention, above the clock, the letters AM or PM. If AM is on, then you set the time from 24:00 am to 12:00 noon. If you need to configure from 12 noon to 24 am, then press "Hour" until the letters PM appear. It's just that our MV time shows 12 hours, not 24. That is, from 1 to 12 AM - until noon, and from 1 to 12 PM until midnight. After hours, adjust the minutes, it's easier here. Just press for minutes. You have the time you need - you don't do anything else, after 7 seconds, they will be fixed and will show you the exact time.
Romashkina
And the instruction is actually very bad. More precisely, I think, the translation into Russian. I have CF for 2 weeks while I still have questions. Hopefully we'll learn it quickly!
Roxolana
I know how to set the usual time, I set it up right away.
I asked about the programs how it should be displayed there. (Cooking time)

As for the "porridge" regime,

With porridge, it seems to me, everything is simple. The porridge is cooked for 1.5 hours, it turns out very tasty, boiled cereals - that's what you need. By the way, the porridge was the first when I bought the CF. Try it, I think you'll like it. I put my recipe for milk rice porridge in the recipes. He's the simplest. Put it on overnight, until you have mastered the Timer (I tried this for the first time).
Roxolana
Baked today an ordinary biscuit: 4 eggs, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1st. flour.
it turned out to be some kind of low and not porous, the top is completely white, as if damp. In a conventional oven, it always came out good and tall.
I read the forum and everyone seemed to have no problems with the biscuit, everyone praises it.
I can’t understand what’s wrong .... I didn’t open the lid during cooking, I baked for 1.50 minutes.
Romashkina
Roxolana, the exact same baking recipe was my first experience with CF. I was also not happy. But I think I cooled it wrong. It is better to bake for about 60 + 20 minutes on the Multipovar, then turn off the MV and let the biscuit stand inside for 15-20 minutes, then open the lid and let the biscuit cool for 10 minutes.
Try this biscuit recipe (taken from Pancho cake): 6 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 1/3 tsp soda. slaked with lemon juice 1/2 tbsp l., flour 2 cups, cocoa 3 tbsp. l ..
Separate the whites from the yolks, beat the whites into a strong foam (10 minutes with a mixer). Then, while continuing to beat, gradually introduce 2 tbsp. Sahara. Add the egg yolks one at a time. Sift the cocoa through a sieve and add to the dough. Add the sifted flour in several steps to the dough and mix gently (I mix with a mixer at low speed), add slaked soda with lemon. Grease the mold with oil, pour the dough into it. By the way, cocoa is optional.
I bake on the Multipovar for 60 + 20 minutes, then the sponge cake stands in the multi for 20 minutes, and then I open the lid and cool it down.
Roxolana, the recipe is 100% tested in our cartoon, 3 Pancho was made in 2 weeks. The biscuit turns out to be 6-7 cm high (measured). All relatives and friends really liked it (everyone is interested in what happens in this cartoon.

the top is completely white, as if raw

I had exactly the same impressions, but experts in multicooker reassured me that this is normal. This happens in all multicooker, not counting the Cuckoo 1054 (I think there is also an upper crust, thanks to the oven mode). In fact, the white dough is ready, you just turn the biscuit over and few people will see the white bottom turned out or not. The main thing is the taste !!!
Admin

Girls, do not compare with other multicooker - here in the section there are many recipes for baking these biscuits and pies for Cook, including the recipe above, by Tanyulya - the baking is excellent.

And it is advisable to ask questions in recipes for baking biscuits - it will be clearer and faster you will see the answer
ITU
Hello, dear forum users.
I want to buy a cuckoo 0821, but first I want to clarify some points with you. Please inform.
1. Do you regret purchasing this particular model?
2. Does a lot of steam come out of the cuckoo during its work?
3. Any problem with the valve?
4. Does she still know how to stew or fry dishes, or are they only steamy?
5. Do you leave the cuckoo alone unattended while cooking or do you still try to control its work? This question is more related to the fire safety of the device.
And yet, no one knows why the cuckoo 1010, the one for 13,500 rubles. not very popular? The model seems to be good.
I will be very grateful for your help.
Tanyulya
ITU, I will try to answer.
1. How can you regret what you did, any unit is good at work. You initially know for what functions you choose it, that is, there should be no regrets, no need to expect more from it than stated.
2. The steam comes out enough when cooking liquid products (soups, compotes), when preparing main courses, I would not say, but it is better not to put under the cabinets.
3. I had no problems, but I know that there were cases. Now the valves are in service centers.
4. She extinguishes perfectly. It can fry, but you won't get such a crust like in a frying pan or in 1054.
5. You can safely leave.
I don’t know why they don’t buy 1010, the model is GREAT !!! I really like it.
I hope I was able to answer you, there will be questions, please, how I can help you. Good luck to you.

I also want to answer MB CUCKOO 0821 I have had for a month already, at first I was getting used to it, trying it out, I had many questions, but in the process of preparing the same dishes, a lot became clear to me. I'm just happy about my cartoon. Well, now the answers:
1. I have no regrets.
2. And I did not notice at all large gusts of steam. So, sometimes he puffs a little.
3. What could be with the valve? Just wondering most ...
4. Dishes do not turn out all steam. He bakes all the pastries perfectly. I already logically realized that if the baked goods are all baked, ruddy, then the meat should turn out this way, although at first I did not succeed in it. And yesterday I cooked fried chicken legs. You just need to keep it on a multi-cooker longer, there will be questions about cooking - I will always answer.
The extinguishing is super, it is possible on the Multipovar, it is possible on the Porridge mode.
5. I leave, how can it be without it! This is the whole trick.
And yet, yesterday I looked at the presented MB in the store, I liked mine better!
Tanyulya
RomashkinaHave you figured out the timing? You can set long cooking on heating and select a temperature of 70 or 80 degrees. Or work with the sticky mode and the menu buttons and selection, there the water boils, but I won't say about the temperature, the time can be set at 2, 4, 6, 8 hours.
Romashkina
Tanyulya, over time did not understand. I haven't cooked the jellied meat yet.

You can tell about these modes in detail ... I thought if you select the "heating" mode, then you can do it for a maximum of 3 hours.

Can you tell us about the "sticky" mode, how it cooks? I want to understand what is the effect of this regime.
Tanyulya
What is the effect, I myself did not understand, but the water is boiling, that's how I'll try the mode to the end, so I'll give you the whole layout
ITU
Tanyulya and Romashkina, thank you for your answers.
Your opinion, if the function of a pressure cooker is not needed, then it probably makes no sense to take the cuckoo 1054? Although of course it is good, but the price is ... biting. I'm still looking at 1010.
And yet, something I got confused, about 0821 on the forum I wrote that the instructions and the booklet with the recipes that come with the kit are incomprehensible, right? Or can you use the recipes from the book?
Admin

Use any recipes if you think they are clear and suitable for you.
As a rule, beginners are confused about recipes for instructions, and are afraid to cook according to them.

Do not be afraid and ask questions - we will help!
The most important thing is practice!

You can use the book. If you look at 1010, there is a pressure cooker function.
Romashkina
ITU, the recipe book is good. Instructions on how to use the MV are inconvenient, or rather translated into Russian. It doesn't always come the first time. I take recipes from the Internet, there are a lot of sites, there are many recipes for every taste. I have already cooked a lot, it is a pity that the fotik was covered, otherwise I would have exhibited a photo.
And yet, in my CF, the price was fine for me.
AUV
Hello everybody! Now I am also a happy owner of Kukushechka 0821. But there were some adventures. Only one MV entered the store and I grabbed her, BUT ... she ended up without a booklet, they promise to take it, but for now I'm trying to figure it out by typing. Can anyone help with the instruction? And please enlighten about the modes on which what you can do. And yet, as I understand it, on a multi-cooker, the time is set only for 60 minutes maximum, which means that recipes where you need to stew for 2-3 hours are not available to us? For example, I am very interested in cooking jellied meat or baked milk, maybe someone has already tried to cook them. I would be grateful for any help.
Tanyulya
As for the jellied meat, you can cook it on the Multipovar, then heat it up, select a temperature of 80 degrees. For recipes, you can use the recipe book or go https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=466.0 maybe you can find something for yourself. And then we will understand. Good luck.
AUV

And how to "choose" the temperature in it? Sorry, but I have neither instructions nor recipe books yet. If I understood correctly, almost everything is prepared in the Multipovar and fried and stewed and baked, for me it is not clear. Or do you need to set different temperatures in each specific case? And what do they do in other programs?
Romashkina
AUV, on the "Normal" mode, I cook cereals that need to be obtained friable: rice, buckwheat, etc. On the "Porridge" mode - I cook milk porridge (despite the fact that the instructions say that milk porridge cannot be cooked), porridge is obtained not dry, with liquid - for this, you yourself understand, you need to pour in more milk or water. Of course, I stew on "porridge" when it is necessary for the dish to languish. On a multi-cooker - all baked goods, quick cooking - braising. Sometimes a dish is stewed on a multi-cooker, then, so that the temperature is lower, I transfer it to the "porridge" mode. So, you can cook soups.
In the "normal" mode, you can change the temperature, but, to be honest, I have not used this yet - there was no need.
I wonder how other users of CUCKOO 0821 use the modes?
Tanyulya
I cook milk porridge on "Kasha", baked goods on the Multipovar, for turbo-pasta, dumplings, and steamed dishes (for example, eggs in silicone molds).
Romashkina
I cooked jellied meat.Since she was at home, she did not become wise with the regimes. The jellied meat was cooked for 4 hours in total. 1 hour on Multipovar, and then 2 doses on the "Porridge" mode. I was pleased with the result.
AUV
Yesterday they sent instructions from the Cuckoo website. I read and read, but I still did not understand about the Select mode, how it works and why and what are these 0-1-2-2-1-0 units of measurement? In general, can anyone explain in what cases it is needed and how to use it?
Romashkina
Using the Select mode, you can change the soaking time of cereals in the first two modes (this is the letter b), and also in these two modes you can change the cooking temperature (h). To be honest, I only used h once - increasing the temperature for faster cooking.
mss_Lucky
Hello dear owners of Cuckoo 0821! I have been choosing a multicooker for a long time, today I accidentally stumbled upon this model - and something told me that it was mine! I wanted to appeal to those who have had it for a long time - are you satisfied with your choice? And if anyone has the opportunity, show me the steam plate, please. Thanks a lot in advance!
Tanyulya
Good evening mss_Lucky. Nice slow cooker. I like the saucepan and the power is sufficient. But the plate is not very convenient for me, you can't lay out finely chopped vegetables for a salad, it's not convenient, so I use my own metal one. Now, if there were sides, it would be better like a bowl. We just wrote this in our wishes about the modernization of cuckoos.
mss_Lucky
Tanya, thanks! I ordered it literally an hour ago. I should have it by 3 tomorrow. Would you mind helping if you have any questions?
mss_Lucky
Good morning! Now I have an assistant! As promised, I came back with questions :) Tanya and the girls, I wanted to ask, when you bake (a biscuit, for example), after the end of the program, do you leave the product on heating or turn it off immediately? Do you open the lid immediately or let it cool when closed? And then I got used to the oven - I was a little confused here ...
And yet, I noticed that in my cartoon there is a gap between the lid and the body (1.5-2 millimeters). In yours too? Or is it time for me to check for a 2-week warranty from the store? Thanks everyone in advance!
Tanyulya
mss_Lucky, congratulations on your assistant. I leave the biscuit in the cuckoo for at least 15-20 minutes, you can do it without heating, you can also with it. I can leave the curd casseroles on the heating all night, and so an hour is quite normal, so the baked goods do not fall off. I'll see the gap now .... well, there is ... tiny.
mss_Lucky
Thank you! :) I already calmed down, looked at the photo of the multicooker in the recipe book - there is also a small gap there.

And when steaming you just turn on "Cooking", excuse the tautology, or choose "Turbo"? Thank you!
