Girls, brought her slow cooker today and immediately decided to cook something. I chose a simpler one - buckwheat with champignons. Everything seemed to work out, I sit here and eat deliciously.

But one thing is not clear to me:

I threw in butter and onions, set the "frying" mode,
- after 5 minutes, I canceled and threw in the mushrooms, turned on the "frying" mode again,
- after 5 minutes, she canceled it again and filled up the buckwheat and filled it with water accordingly - turned on the buckwheat mode.

The question is - should he then disconnect himself?

Of course, I could not stand it, I canceled it again, climbed in, checked it, then set the buckwheat mode again, because the time goes on the display without stopping forward and I was afraid that it would burn. I climbed a couple of times until the porridge was ripe, and I myself switched it to the "heating" mode.
So I'm not catching up with something, should the main programs turn off themselves? And the display should be counting down, or not?
Answer the "teapot" pzhalsta!

Modes "Rice", "Buckwheat" are automatic. They end when all the liquid boils away and the cereal dries up a little. You should not open the lid and even more so turn off and turn on the multicooker in these modes.

The countdown in these modes begins after all the liquid has boiled off, when the multicooker begins to dry / toast cereals.
Amarill
manna, Thank you!
So I had to turn on the "buckwheat" mode and calmly wait until the cartoon itself goes into "heating"?

Is the frying mode the same or not?
In the same place, you need to consistently add products to overcook. How to be in this case? Disable "frying" or just open and throw food without disconnecting?

You can leave it on. Just DO NOT leave the bowl EMPTY while the Fry function is on.

Thank you for rating. And the recipe is on duty, there are many similar charlottes on the site. Honestly, everything by eye (4 eggs, 3/4 cups of flour and the same amount of sugar, a couple of tablespoons of sour cream and baking powder, a teaspoon, 3 medium apples) I greased the form with refined butter and sprinkled with semolina. Baking mode. Leave on heating for 20 minutes. The top is light, so I turned the booty up on the plate. I really liked the process itself - no need to bother with the oven (for some reason I always burn myself), the bowl was rinsed and the whole cleaning was done. Somehow "by the way" it turns out to cook. I was only going to try the mode on this charlotte, but the result was excellent. Rice milk porridge on a delayed start turned out great (I will only change the proportion, I made 2.5 cups of milk for 1 part of rice, the rice was round. It seemed to me that I needed more milk, then I added it. But we love smudge. Thanks to the site - I learned how to insert photos into messages. I will improve further according to the recipes of forum users. As they say, thank you for your attention

Didn't condensate appear in 20 minutes? Somehow I never left it on the heating ...

I also do not like to smear. But 1: 2.5 is not porridge, it is slightly overcooked rice. I make porridge in a 1: 3 or 1: 4 ratio depending on the cereal. If, after the end of the program, a little liquid remains, you can leave it on the heating, and the cereal will take on excess moisture.
Lyre
Thanks for the recommendations. : rose: About condensation - maybe there was, but I didn’t notice it, inspired by the result - I was fiddling with turning and a photo I studied the posts about porridge, I’ll take note and try again. The coating of my bowl made me live long. Here it is (it is wet, right after washing)

And I bought a new bowl. Its inner coating is different from what was on the bowl from the kit. It looks stronger. And it is not gray, but black

Unfortunately, there is nothing eternal in this sublunary world. And the bowls too. How long has she served you faithfully? Mine has been for six months now, and I exploit it mercilessly, two or three times a day. She also began to think that the day is not far off when the coating will begin to peel off, and what to do better - buy a new saucepan or change the multicooker at once. But I am so used to her that there are no words. Satisfied with everything, except that sometimes you need more volume and more power. I come to the conclusion that one MB is not enough, and I begin to look towards Brand 37501.
Manna
I bought this saucepan before the last New Year. But she began to use it most intensively from May to October, three times a day. She survived all kinds of canning. The coating began to wear off in August. I use this slow cooker in the country. I do not need to buy another, because this one suits me. And Brand 37501 ... my favorite vapsche By the way, I advise you to wait for the updated version. It will be called Brand 501. It will be out in the spring. You can read about it in the corresponding Temka. I there resulted in differences 501 about 37501.
Biryusa
I read it, I read it ... I almost learned that branch by heart. There is a lot to think about. The updated model will obviously not be cheaper than the previous one, this is a fact. And it seems to me that the available functions in the 37501st Brand suit. I'd rather use the saved money to buy another spare bowl for Kromax (there is no desire to part with him).
A few memoirs:
In May, I ordered two MBs of a brand promoted on a neighboring resource, but only one was available in the online store, and I simply trusted the words of the seller: "Take Kromax, you won't regret it." And she was not mistaken. She gave the second one, as a more prestigious one, a suit, and kept this shy girl for herself. So the matchmaker's bowl has already peeled off (although it practically does not bake in it), and there are some troubles with the display, and the porridge is running away ... In general, she believes that I left a good reliable multicooker for myself, and gave her anyhow something.
I really like how he cooks milk porridge and bakes all kinds of pies, biscuits, charlottes. First of all I dabbled, took pictures, and now I gave up this activity.

The cup is dear, but not at the office. site. I called them, and at that time they ran out of bowls, and I took it from dealers (I just typed in Yandex "bowl for Cromax 31").
Ninochek
Hello. Now I am also a happy owner of this wonderful animal - a slow cooker. Only the company at beckoning Leran is called, but in all the functionality it turns out like Kromax, I read and so much useful !!! Thank you Girls
Vasya89
Good afternoon.
Mom wanted a multicooker - I choose here.
I liked the Cromax endvor MC-87 \ 88 \ 89.
According to reviews on the Yandex market, everyone likes it, except for one comment where she was completely scolded.
Having overlooked this topic diagonally, I did not notice any special mentions about it - but it seems like they write that it is an analogue of the seventies. Is it so? Also, the food burns and you need to monitor it? How is she generally at work. I am especially interested in how delayed start works, this function is especially important.
Nikolaevna
I am completely satisfied with my Cromax 78, but two days ago I decided to buy a cartoon Scarlet pressure cooker and immediately after the first cooking, a whitish coating appeared at the bottom of the saucepan after washing and wiping it off ... I immediately remembered that in many Temki people are preoccupied with buying additional pots, but I somehow did not understand why? It seems like the coating is normal ... I also have a Japanese rice cooker, there, too, the coating is excellent, as if I bought it today, although I have been using it for six months.
Now I will try not to buy Chinese, even if it will be more expensive.

What do you mean "burns too"?
I have an MS-78 - nothing in it has ever burnt, and you don't need to keep an eye on it - she does everything herself ...
Nevushka
Does anyone have a Kromax Endever Skyline MC-22? I almost bought it (almost because it hangs on the reservation and awaits payment) ...
I want to use it instead of a deep fryer, so I ask myself - does it exactly heat up to the desired temperature?
Manna
Nevushka, take a look at THIS Temko (or in THIS), I have just such a saucepan. Yes, yes, these are rather saucepans than deep fryers (you need a lot of oil for fries).

so a lot of oil is poured into an ordinary deep fryer, only in ordinary fryers there is less load and nothing else can be cooked, the main thing here is that it withstood the temperature. And then in 37501 deep-frying is still very long, a little 180g ..
Manna
Then, if you want to cook something else in this stewpan, then keep in mind that they have one disadvantage - on the one hand, the bottom heats up more, which gives uneven baking or browning.

My mom once had a deep fryer, but there was only potatoes for 2 people. fry, but I feed 5-6 at a time .. that's why I want more, of course it's not every day, but sometimes I want
And he also lures that the husband does not mind - he really laughs: they say it's time to make a shelf for devices, but agreed to buy (for only two thousand)
Manna
Well, yes, you are unlikely to use this device often. I get it only for pancakes, cheese cakes, cutlets, crust for a roll ... and, perhaps, that's all

Considering how much I cook ... the multicooker and the pressure cooker are always busy
So there will be a calculation for frying and deep frying, well, we'll see. And I'd better make cheesecakes in Orioshka.
Manna
It's just that in a saucepan it turns out 8-9 cheesecakes at once, and in a cartoon only 3-4.

no, it is syrniki, they turn out to be somewhere 1-1.5 cm thick, although you can make it thinner, but then it will not be syrniki.
Today I have biscuit baked in a flower, I will lay it out later.
Galla
Good day !
The girls read 17 pages of the topic stoically. looked at the photo, of course you are wonderful!

I bought a multicooker Kromax MC-89.
In complete disappointment))) cooked rice yesterday,
I took cereals 2 mst, water 4 mst. (in the instructions it was written 5-6 mst did not dare), cooked on the "Pilaf" mode, exhibited round grain rice, Standard ".
As a result, the dish took 50 minutes to cook. The rice turned out to be a viscous wet sticky lump in general.
But this is not the most important disappointment, at the beginning of boiling water through the steam valve of the top cover of the multicooker, hot water began to spray, and not steam.
It splattered not only the entire appliance, but also the table around it, opening and closing the lid did not save the situation until everything was sprayed all over the kitchen. This process has not ended.
Then, when the water began to boil off before the end of the process, there was less spray. But what happened is not even a porridge.
And so the rice lump.
Experts tell me what I did wrong? Why instead of a steam fountain spray all over the kitchen?
It seems that I read and did everything according to the instructions, but the first "pancake" is definitely lumpy.
Manna
Galla, Hello!
First, tell us what kind of rice it was, whether you washed it thoroughly ...

As far as I understand, the rice was round, frothed during cooking, and the water went through the valve.

Personally, I, and many on this forum, cook only long rice for side dishes, round only for cereals. I wash the rice thoroughly until clear water. Rice for a side dish can be cooked on the Express. Is there such a program?
Galla
Quite right, the rice was round grain, (in our family, no one eats long, we don't take it at all).
I washed it down to clear water as in the instructions, but it really must have foamed.
But the idea was just gruel.
But there is no "Express" mode in this model, but there is a choice of cooking "Standard" (this mode was selected), "Soft", and "Hard".
But the result turned out to be a little strange rice turned out to be sticky!
Maybe the "standard" type of cooking is not suitable for round grain rice.
I looked at your photos, they are not only beautiful but also delicious.
It’s hard to believe that such a miracle is prepared in multicooker.
I probably cannot master it. And now this miracle of hostile technology is standing in a corner, and I don't know what to do with it?

Manna
So ... if there was porridge in the ideas, then it was necessary to cook it in the "Milk Porridge" mode. If not, then the "Extinguishing" mode. Modes like "Pilaf", "Standard", "Express", etc. are modes for side dishes, not for cereals.

Why not "overpower" so immediately, you need to master the principles of cooking in a multicooker
Galla
Well, thank you ! And I did everything according to the instructions.
It says for rice, PLOV mode.
I will try in a different mode.
But that "milk porridge" (by the way, there is such a mode in this model because of him and took this model), it still didn’t get it for porridge
Together with her husband, tests were carried out, we decided to do everything as written, DO NOT VIOLATE!
Live and learn. Many thanks, I will try other modes

Mannochka, I often make 1x1 soft Krasnodar rice + parboiled rice, + a small piece of butter. With this ratio, the rice does not turn out to be dry, where soft and parboiled rice are alternated. And oil makes rice even more plastic, reveals the tastes of rice.

And of course, the correct ratio of cereal and water - this has not been canceled.

Oh, Admin, I do not use steamed at all, and I do not add butter either to the porridge or to the side dish. My tastes are not the same

Krasnodar rice we sell saw. But how about steamed rice? Steaming yourself separately?
I don't put butter in rice my son eats porridge with milk, and swears when the butter floats.
But I respect porridge separately with butter
