Girls, came in to say thank you, for the discussion on baking biscuits. Last time it was stipulated here that when baking, do not grease the entire form with oil, only the bottom (previously I greased it very carefully). So today I did it on your recommendation and my orange biscuit rose to the 6th mark, it did not rise above 4ki before. In general, thanks for the information

The biscuit is sooo good!
Although there are delicious pastries in the cartoon, I still prefer my electric oven. I have several molds of different diameters (sliding) and several silicone ones. Of the 7 eggs in the largest form (26 cm), the biscuit rises to 6-7 cm.
InnaT84
I could not resist and also baked a biscuit. In the heat of the heat It turned out from 4 eggs 6 cm high.

In general, I bake traditionally in the oven, with kneading, dough, but that year I needed to quickly bake something as a gift. I made Baba Rum, but I added raisins, it tasted like Easter cake.

In general, any recipe can be baked in a multo, proofing directly in the bowl and for Baking.
Thank you, Annushka!
I'm already baking. 2 options.
One in HP (fortunately, I just have a round bucket for her).
For the second dough with dough, it's still worth ...
I made it according to the recipe to many here known - for our Deksik:

There will be reports!

and yesterday I was finally honored with the "Insatiable nun" .... delicious ... the biscuit itself is awesome, but with impregnation ...
only I soaked it a little, I was afraid of something .. in the next I will fill in full syrup

Speaking of the nun. I also look at it with one eye, only I have a question, but how to impregnate it, never when I did not soak anything

I poured it directly into the saucepan (I cooled the biscuit a little). There is so much impregnation that I was afraid to "lose" it if I pour it on a double boiler. As a result, the nun turned out to be wet (maybe I misunderstand the word - insatiable). But when I stood in the refrigerator, I became cool. The only negative (as for me) is very sweet. And this despite the fact that in our house the concept of "overhauled" does not happen, there is LOW sugar)

I did for those who do not like syrup, you just need 1 glass of liquid, and then I didn’t pour it all. tasty, but tastier where it is.

you probably made 2 glasses of water and 1.5 sugar too sweet to see .. the biscuit is also sweet, or we got good sugar and it happens: then three spoons per cup, and there is almost no effect, then 1 - and too much
valuhka
Yes, Tanya did it for 2 tbsp of water. Indeed, where the impregnation is tastier. Well, at least I was lucky with something (I'm talking about sugar)

Girls, tell me, pliz. If the proteins from the eggs are frozen in the freezer, and after a week defrost, will the biscuit be made from such proteins or not? And then I bake paska on yolks, a lot of proteins are formed, but while I don't bake biscuits, a bunch of beads is planned.
InnaT84
Tanya, you still need whites and yolks for a biscuit. Although I came across a recipe for a biscuit from some proteins. I can give a recipe ... Or make a meringue, if you like it.

It is very convenient to freeze proteins in separate bags with a plastic fastener, for example, 3-4 pieces each. Very convenient for meringues (you can sign the number of eggs). I don't sign because I can just weigh. The weight of fresh chicken eggs ranges between 43 and 64 g, the weight of raw protein is from 24 to 38 g (subtracted for girls)

That yes, but slowly I shove it back and forth. For example, if there is a biscuit out of four eggs, then I will still throw 1 squirrel there. And there are different casseroles. And we don't like meringues, unfortunately.
And give me a link to a biscuit recipe without yolks, I wonder what kind of beast.

Now you will all laugh out loud - 2 years ago I hated the kitchen, knew how to cook and bake the most elementary things, and at the same time, being naive, I thought that I cook well (ha ha) and that it is very difficult (ha ha ha ). And then I got to our forum. After 2 weeks, the children presented me with a Panasonic 18 multicooker, and then it started - AG, a Bosch cube combine, a slicer, a marinator, a potato peeler, a ham maker, a noodle cutter, a muffin dish, a tenderizer, and a lot more already on the little things. And now I'm waiting for the "blue-eyed" handsome Deksik. And I understand that I am still not very good at cooking (and what I can do is not me, but my assistants), but that it is not at all difficult.
Here, I wrote MANY LETTERS. This means that I am not yet an expert, but rather a student. But if I know anything, I will help and teach. and you teach me.
And I love to cook everything except baking. I even invented my theory, why with baking for YOU. My household does not really need it. They don’t love them, they are indifferent to biscuits. And such shop masterpieces, which they sometimes eat, I cannot, with all my desire. So I will cook the first and second courses, they appreciate mine and eat with pleasure, and from the bushes I will enjoy your masterpiece desserts.
And when mine sometimes wants a cake, they scratch it in the store.

You shouldn't be programming yourself, Albinochka! I couldn't even imagine that I could bake something better than in a store, especially better than imported baked goods. Girls, Truly Risen! I don’t know where you find it and how you insert such cool postcards. Albina, and about homemade baked goods, they don't eat it where they don't bake it. My godfather was sure that her husband didn't eat pastries, so she always wonders how he “tramples” on me EVERYTHING. (She, too, is not on these matters (in the sense of baking). My brother has a theory that women are conventionally divided into “cooks” and “cleaning ladies.” His wife is only for cleaning, and I am “sausage” from her. applies to baked goods as well?

The recipe is known to many here from YouTube:

The rest - from the same dough, but in the oven. decided to experiment - will there be a difference in the density of the dough and in taste ...

The largest one (on the left in the photo) is in a bread maker. A recipe for the lazy, when you throw everything at once and on the "French pastries" mode.
I won't tell you to taste - I haven't tried it yet.

I agree, I recently baked my first (or rather, second) biscuit in Deksika. We ate the first one like that. And the second one, I think, must be done. And I went to look for Temko how to divide it into cakes. Did it. Then I went to look for creams. I read it, made a custard, smeared it. Then I remembered that the girls were rubbing chocolate into shavings on the baby's teat from Berner, took the grater, rubbed it, sprinkled it. Here's the cake. And it is very tasty and without any harm and the family is delighted. And since almost most of the work was done by our Deksik - cartoon, Duxik mixer and Bernerovskaya grater, the process itself was very easy and interesting. But my husband was already ofigel: And sho, he says, you can do that, and he came up to his son several times and said that it was cool. And I'm so pleased. I say: Well this is the beginning, get ready.

What amazes me most in the story with the gingerbread house is WHEN (where does Lyuba come from, you take time in the pre-holiday bustle) to create such a thing. Before the holidays I have such parks that there is not enough time for beauty. Although there is someone to do for (children 13 and 6 years old). For two years now I have been going to make a gingerbread house (my hands are sharpened correctly) BUT time is sorely lacking Or I do not know how to properly dispose of it

And I don't find the time just before the holiday - the gingerbread house still ripens for 3 - 4 weeks. I'll write today about the fight against excess weight - "cups" of the Giraffe are our FSE! It seems to me that the whole forum on these "glasses" is great - we eat everything and lose weight! My son lost 3.1 kg in the first week, for the incomplete second (the week will be the day after tomorrow) - already by 1.2 kg. Well, my daughters and I - both quit smoking for the new year, so we don't lose weight so well, but we don't get better either (and it was up to + 2 kg per week), we managed to stabilize the weight! And I understood the system there - once we eat "humanly", and the next - "empty" (banana, or vegetable salad, or apple, etc.), then again the food is normal, and again something light. The last trick is curds, and then kefir. And if you eat normally every time, figs will lose weight!

Lyuba, where have you been before, with your useful links, and in general, where was this forum before ?! They did not understand everything correctly ... For such "empty" Tanya and "on the cap" can knock ...
If you alternate techniques in the first weeks of losing weight, then you can be hungry by the evening, because during the day there will be a specific shortage, which is fraught with a breakdown and gluttony for the night .. There is no talk of any "curds" in the evening either ... Again, due to the fact that it is possible to "fall short" ..
... After a couple of weeks, the body will already start "at least" something lighter in reception during the day, but even here it is necessary to control the "evening appetite" .. again due to further non-overeating ...

This is off-topic .. I'm moving this conversation to where it should be ..

And I figured out how to get rid of unpleasant odors in pressure cookers and multicooker. After I cooked the mackerel, the pressure cooker smelled, to put it mildly, not very much, and also my relatives were very sensitive to odors, my husband almost couldn't take it out into the street. I boiled a lemon, the smell became less, but was still very audible. And then, during the "shmona" of the refrigerator, I found a ginger root that was beginning to deteriorate, cut it to see if it deteriorated, and my hands smell so nice after it, well, I decided to boil it in a pressure cooker, a little, just a couple of cm and a couple of minutes. The fish smell is COMPLETELY gone and the smell is so nice. I immediately went to ATB and bought several tubers, I will cut, freeze and cook fish and cabbage calmly, otherwise I don't feel like it because of the smell, but I want fish.

But not necessarily
7 yolks remained after baking the beads (the whites went into the glaze). I decided to bake a cake with my daughter for my birthday. A plentiful table + kebabs + more Easter cakes and eggs))) not to cake. I bought ice cream, sweets ... decided. that's enough.
But in the evening of 4 I was haunted by the remaining yolks. I didn't think of freezing, I had to go to the forum for help and here it is a MIRACLE ...
