Darnitsky baked without a valve. The result is excellent!
Baking 50 min. (it was a little damp), turned it over and another 20 minutes. The crust on both sides turned out to be the same, thin. The crumb is not wet, but not dry either. Almost does not crumble.

Elena, a beautiful pie! Highly!

Only I don't have such a substrate. Can it work with baking paper?
Elena Bo
You can try to make it out of paper. Fold the strips from several layers so that they do not break when you take them out.
Elena Br
I once made lasagne in a slow cooker, and also laid strips (cut myself) of plain baking paper on the bottom. Only the edges need to be made longer so that the lid of the multicooker is closed, and the edges remain outside. "Elena Bo" is clearly visible in the photo.

Elena, I baked rye bread in a slow cooker 37502, the time for the first time was 1:20. It seemed to me a lot, the bottom crust was plump. So now I'm setting it to 1:10, and everything is baked perfectly, I don't even turn it over.
And your fruit pie is just a fairy tale.

I did this on purpose to get a uniform crust. Since when baking on one side, the bottom is too thick (even when baking for 60 minutes). Therefore, one side is 50 minutes, and it is already baked on the other side).
Elena Br
Now it is clear. Look how cunning you are. Yes, the crust is palpable, although the kids really like it. I'll take your advice on cooking times for myself. Thank you, Elena.
mamba
Girls, tell me, pliz, for an inexperienced baker, how do you cool the finished bread so that the crust becomes soft?
Luysia
Under a towel or under two!

If the crust is really very, very hard, pshik on the bottom towel with water from the spray and then cover the bread.

So I do this, but you can make some kind of device for the multi to get it out so that it is included or you can buy it, for example, silicone so that the paper is not cut every time, but put it on the bottom like a round silicone mat with long handles and will not stick and will be easy to get

Then not only the top will be white but also the bottom. I doubt that something sensible will turn out in a cartoon on silicone.

You can cut the "ears" mat out of non-stick fabric. Have Gashiprobably the pattern has survived
Gasha
I can find a link to the pattern, but it seems to me that a cut out circle and two ribbons of fabric are a more economical solution ...

Yes ..... What to do with the smell? I turn it on, the first three or five minutes - "fragrant."

Try not closing the lid between bakes. Most likely smells from a heating element.
MariV
Lena, I'm not closing it! But in an hour, when everything is cool, and I wash the saucepan, I close the lid and put it away.

Olya, in this case I can offer you this option. Drive up to our office and we will change the heating element for a new one. We'll immediately check for odorlessness.
I have the same model at home and it smelled too. But now I don't smell it. You probably have more factory grease.
The service center master is open until 18:00, so come a little earlier.
MariV
Thank you, Lena, on occasion I will definitely come!
Now I turned it on - "steaming" - the smell went up again, worked for a few minutes - disappeared.

Sorry if I'm dull, it's just that I still have little experience with MV
And the inner cover, so aluminum, how often should you remove and wash it? It's just that at first I just wiped it, but when I took it off, there were such mugs as rusty, probably condensation was going from above from the moisture receiver. I have never shaved it and how often do I need to disassemble it? The fact that water should be poured from behind every time, I understood that.
Tell me please.

Good day.
There have not been any cases of rusting of this part yet. Try simply washing the removable lid plate.
I think the stains will definitely be washed off.
There is no need to remove this lid plate after every cooking. But after cooking soup or using the Stew mode, it is better to remove and rinse it. Moreover, it will not take much time.
I wash the plate especially carefully before preparing milk porridge and yogurt. At the same time, do not forget to flush the steam release valve.
The fact that you have little experience in cooking in a multicooker is not a big deal. And I was once in your position. Therefore, ask any questions, I am always happy to help.
vera100865
Thank you Elena, the stains are washed off, I just ask, do you also need to wash the valve after each extinguishing?
Elena Br

If you were preparing a dish with aromatic spices or just fish, it is better to rinse both the valve and the lid plate. This is to prevent the next dish from absorbing the smell, especially if it is milk porridge or yogurt. It will not be very tasty to eat porridge with a curry smell.
See for yourself how often you need to flush the steam release valve and the inner lid plate. But this must be done without fail, also so that harmful microbes do not start.

Can you please tell me how to cook corn porridge in a slow cooker? in options: water, milk. I have never been able to defeat her on the stove, well, it's hard for me with cereals)))))

corn porridge, like semolina, must be constantly stirred, so I cook them in a bread maker (I have an LG) in jam mode, and the rest in a cartoon.

You know, this cartoon turns out good corn porridge. I didn't interfere. I haven't experienced semolina yet.

good day. I’m reading you and I can’t decide in any way what model should I choose? Please advise an inexperienced user ... 02 or 01? this will be our first cartoon ..

Good evening. I am facing the choice of a multicooker.I read the entire forum from start to finish. It is also very interesting when the updated model will be released, and I also wanted to ask the dealers: on the official website, the 502 model already goes without confused buttons on 2 programs? otherwise I read in the reviews on the market that there is such a moment. Also on the forum it was said about some kind of discount: tell us more ?!
Girls, I also wanted to ask, is the total cooking time longer than cooking on the stove? And then I looked at the recipes that the soup turns out for almost 3 hours. I have 2 small children and, of course, cooking takes a lot of time, I practically don't get out of the kitchen. Hopefully the multicooker can solve this problem !!!

good day
Now only the development and implementation of modified programs is underway.
So in the best scenario, the first deliveries with manual mode will not be earlier than the beginning of the second half of the year.

Difficult choice ... For an UNEXPERIENCED user, I would still recommend taking the Brand 37502 model as the first multicooker.

The inscriptions were mixed up in the previous, 37500th series.
Model Brand 37502 DOES NOT HAVE any errors.
I can't know what kind of discount you are talking about, because there were several of them.

The soup is cooked in 1.5 hours. immediately throw everything and take care of the children. No need to follow.
The whole advantage of the multicooker is not in the cooking speed, but in the fact that you practically do not interfere with the process.

The brand is more powerful and has more functions. Well, the bowl cover is better, stronger and kind of like ceramic. the smell really has not disappeared from me yet (I still do not very often cook in it simply), but Panasonic also had it.

Greetings, Olga Nika! Yes, both of them (501 and 502) are good. The choice between them is rather a matter of taste (which one will appeal to you). And in the next game (updated) they will practically not differ at all. Just cups. So ... wait a bit (until the next batch) and choose the one that looks nicer
Olga Nika
and when will the next batch be updated?
and then there is a promotion on the site: like buy a cartoon and a waffle iron and a book in one bottle ... for a lower cost
But in general, how often do new multi-products come out?
Olga Nika
I forgot to ask a question
and which is better redmond or brand
What are the significant differences?
