Hungarian goulash (Cuckoo 1054)

Ingredients

beef, lean veal for goulash 500-600 grams
bulb onions 1 large
fresh carrots 1 PC.
fresh garlic 2-3 teeth
fat for frying 30-50 grams (used goose)
fresh potatoes 5-6 pcs. large
plain water 500-700 ml.
paprika powder 1/3 tsp
chopped parsley 1-2 tbsp. l.
salt taste
red tomatoes in a jar 400 ml

Cooking method

  • Cooking in the Multicooker CUCKOO 1054
  • Tomatoes used such Hungarian goulash (Cuckoo 1054)
  • Paprika powder Hungarian goulash (Cuckoo 1054)
  • COOKING:
  • Turn on the multicooker in Roasting mode 2 level, heat up.
  • Finely chop the fat, put in a saucepan, let it dissolve.
  • Add garlic (crush), onion (cut into large cubes), carrots into rings and simmer.
  • Add a jar of tomatoes in its own juice, paprika, simmer a little before frying and evaporating excess liquid. If you like more spicy goulash, add 0.5-1 tsp paprika. - it will be delicious, but spicy! Deactivate browning mode.
  • Add to the pan the meat, cut into small cubes (2x2 cm), coarsely chopped potatoes, salt, herbs. Add enough water just to cover the meat and vegetables. Stir gently.
  • Enable Multi-cook mode, 15 minutes, 110 * С and bring the goulash to readiness.
  • Pour the ready-made goulash into portioned plates and serve hot. Sprinkle a little fresh herbs on top.

I cook all dishes on the MP only at a temperature of 110 * C - the most optimal temperature! And the readiness of the food is normal, not raw or overcooked!

I tried to cook cabbage soup at a pace. 105 * and time 15 minutes - the cabbage was damp, crunched a little, and the meat would still need to be boiled. So you need to increase the time.

If you cook by 120 * - then in the same 15 minutes the food will be digested, you need to reduce the time.

Try to switch to 110 *, look at my recipes for the time.For example, I cook soups (with small pieces of meat, vegetables, cereals) almost always in 15 minutes.

And yet, at 120 * strong boiling, the valve can make a lot of noisy emissions, clog up faster
The temperature of 110 * is sufficient for cooking and boiling, nothing will turn sour afterwards - tested by experience

The soup turned out to be very tasty. Made in Bork. First, I set the Multipovar for 15 minutes, but both the meat and the potatoes were damp, so I set it for another 10 minutes at 110 * and everything turned out fine (though I took the neck and it is harsh by itself, next time I'll take another piece of meat) ...
