Who cooked pilaf? I get steamed. What proportions are needed for crumbly?
Olgusha
Hello! I have 505 cartoons (or I already showed off in this thread, honestly, I don't remember, I just read you)! I cooked pilaf just like on the stove! First, I fried the meat, on the "Meat" mode, when it was almost ready, added onions and carrots, fried a little more, then turned off the cartoon, poured rice (by the "eye") and poured water on a finger above the rice. I put the cartoon on a line, so that it would turn on in 20 minutes before our arrival. The program was set to languor at 95 degrees, time was 20 minutes. I hope I wrote it clearly, I got crumbly. When they came, and it was ready, I added oil, and it was heated for a while!

I cooked 1: 2, it turned out normal. I think that in order to be more crumbly, you need to slightly reduce the amount of liquid, since the liquid in the MV evaporates much less than on the stove, it can be said that it does not evaporate at all and condensate drips into the pan.
That's Olgusha wrote that water poured more rice on my finger and it turned out crumbly.

Yes, the fact of the matter is that the milk of the same plant ... the only thing is that I always add water to milk ... all this by eye ... read milk without water will run away .... tell me how is it right?

what kind of cereal was in the porridge? next time, try pouring boiling water over it for 5 minutes before throwing it into the pan (unless of course it is oatmeal)))) - sometimes it helps

We have the same situation (((After cooking the soup, a piece of the coating was floating in the soup. Ceramics cannot flake off ... I bought Yummi for the sake of the ceramic coating, and it is worse than Teflon ((((

I bought a multicooker and washed the cup before cooking, the paint washed off in two places !!! Actually, I bought a cup with a ceramic coating ..... so I was cheated? In general, what color and what should the inside of the cup be?
Now I don’t even know what to do, I chose between Yummy YMC-505BX and Philips HD3077 / 40, since Phillips often complain about problems with electronics, they decided to take a yumka, but now we don’t know. Yes, does the magnet stick to the bowl, outside and from what metal (by eye) is the bowl?
Thanks in advance to everyone who responded!

Hello everybody! I can't get enough of my mistress! Yesterday I baked a zebra cupcake - everything turned out and even delicious (sorry, but there is no time for the photo yet). And yet, again with the story of the soup on the "Soup" program - I cooked buckwheat yesterday - nothing escaped. Maybe someone will tell you - many here recommend, if the first one runs away, cook on "Quenching" ave. Yesterday I already wanted to do this, but here's what confused me - pr "soup" -aut 100 degrees (sometimes runs away), and "Quenching" - 125 degrees (and does not run away ???). here is a riddle.
Now about the bowl coating. ceramic inside. nothing sticks (cake baked - did not even grease), easy to clean, and even more so nothing falls off and does not float in soup. Outside at the bottom, I just scratched the heating element slightly.

I have 505, the inner coating pleases, nothing sticks, cooked dishes just fly out, you don't even need to wash, rubbed it and that's it. Ceramic inner lining, completely outer a little bit, from the edge, rubbed against the heating element, at the very beginning of use, the scratch does not increase anymore, I use it every day.

It's a mystery to me too. I still can't make up my mind to cook soup on Stew.

YES FOR STEWING and does not run away, I cooked borscht like that today, great, but I had to add a little water. Does not boil, does not fly out

Girls, take to your ranks - I have a cartoon YUMMY YMC-505
In principle, I am happy with everything, but it is embarrassing that the top cover is not removable. In the 500th model it seemed to be removable.
Or is it possible to shoot it somehow in 505 too?

no, the lid cannot be removed

yarosja, thanks for the answer!
It's a pity of course, this is a big minus
But I've already got used to it: I wipe it with a damp sponge after each preparation + sometimes wash it under the tap
I have already cooked in it: potatoes with meat, lazy cabbage rolls, chakhokhbili from chicken, porridge (rice, oatmeal), casserole on dough, naval pasta
I also cooked dumplings))
Recipes - I do everything by eye, I hate to measure in grams
I read the recipe - and went to sculpt

if you turn it over from yourself and put the lid under the tap, then it's better not. We already have one of them exactly on the forum they ruined the cartoon (namely, perfezu - Polina Superkow) - there are sensors in the lid - milk began to run away

it's better to crawl with a ladder. And surely not removable? no way? take a picture of the pleated lid, we can all (with hope)

Well, I do not directly "pop" take out the steam valve, turn it over - I direct the stream of water into the hole from the valve and gently wash off the dirt into the same hole with a sponge. I try to prevent water from getting behind the seal on plastic and other parts

Hello!
Take me to your ranks, I've been the lucky owner of 505 models for a week now. While we get used to each other
So far from the tried one:
vegetable stew is lovely, threw a pack of frozen vegetables, poured a glass of tomato juice, and vegetables for 40 minutes.
stewed cabbage - without oil at all (for me this is important, because I'm losing weight) and it turned out delicious.
My husband is happy, because I didn’t work out very well without multi vegetable dishes, to be honest.
pilaf - class!
Charlotte is not very moist - it is very wet, and the crust is very tanned. But it seems that I already realized my mistake - the dough is very liquid, according to the usual guidelines for my old oven, which dries everything out. I had to take a proven recipe for multi.
Now the next step is "chocolate on boiling water" - I hope it will work!

I watched the video and became thoughtful. On my 505th it is written ceramics, and the saucepan is black ... Is it really such ceramics, or is it Teflon?
P.S. "chocolate on boiling water" turned out. The biscuit came out very soft, it was necessary to cut it into three parts, but I tried it for 4)) As a result, the cakes crumbled. But delicious!
Natul4i4ek
I also have black, but it does not look like Teflon. I read on the manufacturer's website that Teflon is discontinued, and the 505 is the latest model, so let's hope that ceramics

And what is not exactly not clear ... if you have 501, then choose the stitching and add 9.00 ... this means that at 9 he will start cooking (well, or by analogy, another time) ... then press start, and that's it ... on stitching until 9 am

I cooked 2 times, the pasta manufacturers were different, in both cases I simply set the Pasta program without adjusting it - T-120C, the time was 25 minutes. The water was added cold.
But it didn't work out for me .. though in 501 there is no "paste" program, so I poured canelonnies (sooo big shells) and poured water and set the required temperature and time during cooking ... the water did not absorb, although the caneloshki were cooked
Natul4i4ek
Well I do not know . Didn't you pour a lot of water? Maybe it's true, try a different variety? Or maybe it's the program. But I do this all the time now, my favorite dish, one might say.

I have 505, that is, if I need it to turn on at 11.00 (I go for a walk with the child), then I just set 11.00 and that's it, but I thought to count how many hours it would turn on. But how much to bet?

I poured water just to close the pasta .. well, I have them mega solid Italian canelonnies, or maybe the program really sets the boiling rhythm that I need, and I didn’t achieve that effect on my 501 on "cooking". I am glad for you that you are not afraid to experiment ... today I will bake chocolate on boiling water, you really inspired me

Hello girls! I have a small child and I thought about a cartoon, so that the whole process of shoal faster and less time wasted. And here my torment began with a choice. So I ordered a Dex 60, and then I read about the dangers of Teflon, etc. Then I found Yammy and thought maybe I could buy it (or maybe someone will buy it from me later, because it came only today and I haven't used it yet). Here I am sitting all in agony! I see from the reviews that you like it. Tell me what? And which model is the best from Yammy? Please advise.

Hi there! I have Yammy 505 I'm happy, but thanks to the forum and the girls help me figure it out
I also chose between Dex and Yammy. Dex hours 4L, Yammy 5L here for me +, a novelty too +, a ceramic bowl +, - it’s not a milk bowl like Yammy’s, but for me it’s no longer - I cook faster on the stove. Like this
I bought it at kidstaff

I bought, look, they differ in color, I have black, they give a sales receipt, a guarantee for a year. Buying on the Internet is always a risk, well, what to do I was looking for in my stores, but there is no such one I had to order on the Internet, I watched the girl from the reviews, everyone was happy.

Letters after 505 mean black or white.
With a small child - a cartoon super thing! I have already made sure, although I am a novice user, the convenience is obvious! Because with a two-year-old perpetual motion machine, standing at the stove for a long time is problematic, but in a cartoon everything is simple!
Yesterday I remembered my childhood. My grandmother often made rice with apples - such shamanic dances with a tambourine, boil rice until half ready, put apples in layers. and so on. And the worst thing - all this was cooked for a long time in a saucepan, which stood in a bowl of water, sort of like in a bath.
Yesterday, by trial and error, I cooked in the cartoon.
Took 2 m / st. rice, 3 apples, a little butter, sugar, 0.5 liters of milk.
I poured a glass of rice into a saucepan, half of the apples on top (cut into pieces), a couple of cubes of butter, a little sugar, repeated the layers. Poured milk. I put porridge on the machine on the program, that is, an hour. Then she looked - the rice was damp. I poured another 1.5 glasses of milk (ordinary, not multi) and on "pilaf" for 30 minutes. It turned out delicious! Next time, I will probably put on pilaf right away.
Enichka
So that's what it is - color And I still think, well, what's the catch! Thank you for the link, I got it. Only the price is some kind of cheap, on their website it seems like 850. Well, okay, they know better. They will not sell at a loss anyway

Dex, by the way, was brought to me from the store for 900 (today), and at the kidstaff yammy - 700. So I'm thinking about the second cartoon with ceramics (this is because they write there that it is safe in any case)

I did the same today, without apples, really! My conclusions: 90 degrees for rice, even in milk (it boils more slowly in it) - not enough! And right away on pilaf - it's dangerous, the bottom will burn in any way. But since the porridge turned out to be very tasty, of course I will make more, on "porridge", but tempera. add.

I also chose between Dex and Yummy. I chose Yummi because: novelty, ceramic. a bowl, 21 programs, cups for yogurt (I already did it today), and of course YUMMY Corporation, Japan (like Japan), and it is also powerful, instantly gaining the required temperature. And with Dex now, of course, it will be simpler, just how many users it has, and there are a lot of recipes adapted and you can find answers to all the nuances. Yumki and I are still few in number, we try to upload everything that we prepare and describe how it works. So, read on, let our reviews help you make your choice!

Everyone does it differently, who pours, who does not pour. I poured.

It is advisable to pour some water - it keeps the temperature evenly, and they write on the forums: Another way to harm your multicooker is to put something in it to cook in tins, foil, etc. The fact is that when using such cooking methods, there is no full contact product with the bottom of the saucepan. There are empty spaces in which there is no heat transfer to the product. And accordingly, in these places there is a local overheating of the bottom of the saucepan. Definitely, this does not benefit the coating. And it is possible that this can even lead to overheating of the heating element. There, of course, there is protection against overheating. But it is worth insuring yourself too. Better - pour water.
