Congratulations!
I made up my mind and ordered the 505th.
It is required for mother-in-law Orion to purchase a second bowl. She wants some kind of aluminum Eco-bowl.
Congratulations
And here are the bowls to Orion tyts here
though the bowl is not aluminum, but made of stainless steel, but there is a spare Teflon

The fact of the matter is, I downloaded the instructions for 505-505, read it several times, but nowhere is there any information that the heating is turned off. On the Yummi website, as I see, no one responds to questions. I would like to tell those who use these cartoons in more detail about the yogurt regime.
This is the second time I made yogurt, I really liked it! I sold the yoghurt maker, because there was no need for it. Yes, the heating mode is turned off there and remains. I expose it so that it is ready by 8 am, then in the refrigerator for 3 hours. And everything is great!
silonda
Yana, thank you very much for your answer! It is a pity that it remains on heating. You will also have to use some delay or order a model from another company, where there is a heating shutdown. They did not think it over, as well as the sound signal after the end of the regimes. Strange, I have an older model - there is a signal, but this one does not. Maybe they will finalize ...

You are welcome!

And I still have a question for those who use the "heating" mode.
This is how it happened to me, this acquaintance.
Cooked soup in stewing mode. It turned out very tasty, there is nothing to complain about. I cooked it in the evening. I decided to leave until morning so that my husband came home from work and ate, as they say, with fervor, with heat. In the "heating" mode 80 degrees. In the morning, when I decided to feed my husband, I went nuts. The soup was of a different color from bright yellow, turned into a dark brown, with a sour taste, and the meat became, boiled, soft, like cotton wool.
Tell me what I did wrong here. In total, the soup was heated for 14 hours.
THANK YOU!

I do not know how in your instructions, but many do not recommend leaving the product on heating for more than 2 hours (maximum 4), because it still continues to cook and for the final result that you got, no one can vouch taken. It’s not the same thing if he just stood on the stove or turned off the oven and "reached", and your cooking process did not stop, which led to such a disastrous result.
In sl. just boldly turn off the cartoon, you already have 1000 watts, and the temperature will keep itself for a long time and the first dish will turn out to be more saturated, and not overcooked into the trash

I fully support it. It seems to me that 90% of negative reviews on sites, if this is not an outright order, then simply comes from inexperienced users who already forget to write about a positive experience (if it eventually happens)
And, in general, it seems to me that in connection with the emergence of new Yummy models, it makes sense for the moderators to change the name of the topic, to simply Yummy MULTI-COOKERS, or add new models to the name - 501 and 505, otherwise newcomers will be stuck with other topics asking where to go with their new Yumas
I fully support you, I myself thought about it yesterday, here you need to read 35 pages in the topic to get to the new models

Girl and in old models, too, the heating turns on automatically? Sometimes it is convenient (in 99%, but for baking and, as it turned out, it is not suitable for yoghurt) I think that there are not many cartoon characters with yoghurt and the principle is one-heating by an automatic machine, so most likely you just need to put a line in calculating time when you wake up
rusja
and on the delay, milk with bacteria will not turn sour?
Sakai
Eh, they would have invented so that the mode would be turned on for yogurts, but on the contrary - cooling ..

Yes ... then it would be good to brew and cool beer like that ..
IRR
and what's the problem with putting yogurt from evening to morning? Without any delay. I went to sleep, turned it on, woke up turned it off.

And more about heating - boiled milk can be simmered overnight and get baked, then make homemade fermented baked milk from it in yogurt mode, pre-fermented with sour cream (or any sour milk).
supermama
I am an impressionable young lady, I just read the reviews from the multicooker website and was stunned by what I wrote. I have a beautiful saucepan, nothing is scratched, although I cook 3 times a day, well, it doesn’t nibble, as it’s not fatal, but people have Teflon pieces floating, soups burn HOW? how is it possible? Maybe people have not figured it out or is everything so bad? I'm very happy with my own, but if I were reading now, I would be afraid to buy. It's just a shame for a cartoon
supermama
I personally have one problem - I did not wipe the bottom of the pan and when I was preparing the heating element it got dirty and I don’t know how to wipe it off ... but these are trifles compared to other problems in people

And how to simmer milk on heating, first bring the "soup" to a boil on the program and then the "heating" program will automatically turn on? It's just that there is no separate "heating" button, this program automatically turns on

could be so. Only, will the milk run away on the soup mode? he is active. Maybe on some other.

About the heating disc - when still warm (after any cooking) - take a damp kitchen washcloth (in any household store in packs), pour any abrasive (such as Vingo or Gala) on it and rub it. Then a couple of times just go through with a clean sponge. Only there is no need to pour water there and so that the sponge does not flow. Slightly damp. It may not wipe off at all, but let it go a little. I have iron scouring pads, which do not scratch my hands, if anything ... but in general it is better to wipe the bottom of the pan with a towel every time before putting it inside. But this will come with experience, at the level of a reflex. usually after 3 months.
silonda
In the older model (I have 500J), the heating is also automatically turned on. Sometimes you wrap yourself up, forget to turn it off, and by the evening half-dried buckwheat porridge is found :)) But I still love my mulyt and the saucepan has not been scratched anywhere and has not lost its non-stick properties for 2 years. True, for baking, I put a silicone napkin on the bottom for safety net and I don't cook broth with sharp bones. I am looking for yoghurt with an auto-shutdown of heating due to a very early morning rise and run away to work and a child to school. So you can forget to turn off the heating. I would gladly take the new model despite the reviews about floating Teflon (I don't believe :)), but due to a flaw with yogurt I will still take it from competitors.I found in their instructions: it is clearly stated that the cartoon after the end of the mode, the yogurt goes into standby mode and turns off the heating. This outweighed some of the disadvantages that the choice was made.
rusja
I also say that "Teflon in the soup" STE anti-advertising, some kind of competitors, casually written on behalf of the housewife, but the people are now cunning went. I remember the wild screeching around the Polish meat grinder Zemer and its comparison with Moulinex, which was twice as expensive. I bought it for today too, very good. happy with the meat grinder, three years have already passed, in general, it's like in the song: "Think for yourself, decide for yourself to HAVE or NOT HAVE"

My YMC-505BX stewed potatoes turned out wonderful with meat and cheese, I cooked fish in tomato (I lower it to 100 degrees, on stewing), like from the oven. Buckwheat turned out superb, only if you put it on the line in the evening, reduce the cooking time not 2 hours but 40 minutes, otherwise at night I woke up to look in the cartoon and buckwheat absorbed all the water and seemed to be ready, but it tasted raw.
But the yogurt did not come out, it turned out sour, I cooked it with homemade milk with Bulgarian sourdough. Can anyone write a recipe?
The bowl, I want to say that this is not the intrigues of competitors, it is easier to pick up the cartoon from the warehouse yourself, a particle broke off from the bowl inside from above, which does not interfere at all, during a strong blow, that is, transportation (dad watched, and he understands me in technology). I had a new mail delivery service, I was surprised that at least cellophane or paper was not placed between the bowl and the plastic parts (I have so much rubbish from professional cosmetics, but here only a cardboard box and a box with cartoons inside), but in the car it shakes our roads. So maybe during transportation, someone there, the bowl knocked, and during cooking this piece flew off and floated, and so it is solid. Then the bowl was really scratched outside of the heating element (the coating is thinner there than inside. But if you please, I cook inside, not outside, and I don’t care about the light bulb. It beeps but very quietly, and changes color to green =) I gave myself to Dnyukha =)

Thanks for your feedback. I also reduce the cooking of porridge ... I put 15 minutes of cooking and 15 heating and everything always worked out, but I cook in a small amount. Where did you get the fish recipe? I want it too! When I was stewing potatoes, I put a plate (or whatever it is called) which I put cutlets on for the children for steaming dishes .... I got potatoes and at the same time, steam cutlets without any extra time!

Oh, it turned out interesting with cutlets))
Today in the cartoon I did two things:
cottage cheese casserole. I have a little dough left after the syrniki, and I wanted to make a casserole for my one-year-old daughter, so as not to give fried. It turned out great. It's just, I got it a little bit. And she became a little dry. But for the future I will know. Reduce browned a little. But, nothing stuck.
And boiled vegetables for vinaigrette. In cooking mode. In 40 minutes, the potatoes and carrots are ready, the beets are cooked. I liked that the peel did not crack on the vegetables, as is the case when cooking in a saucepan. And usually the pan must be washed from the beets. Here, everything went clean)))
Yogurt. I did as I always do in a regular yogurt maker. 1 milk + sourdough (Italian, I took it at Kidstaff), yogurt with sourness, but it should be that way (I didn't have others) I give it to a child, I can add jam or fruit there, we eat it ourselves with pleasure. The main thing is that it ferments well and is thick, we eat it with a spoon))) For me, it's real, the yogurt maker is a big plus, because it's annoying when there are a lot of all kinds of appliances in the kitchen, you always have to follow it, wash it, put it somewhere. And so is the pan, and the double boiler, and the yogurt maker)))

When did you buy the cartoon and where? Somehow wandering through the reviews, I came up with suspicions that before the New Year there was a party without squeakers. And your review is the first about the beeping 505th Yammyu.

And from other young ladies he did not get it. Ooh-ooh !!! Ladies-beauties !!! Do you have Yammi only at the end of the program do not squeak, or are they generally silent in life?

And again to Oli4ka question. In what cases does a cartoon squeak for you? Only at the end of cooking, or in other cases, too, for example, when you press any buttons, pimples?

My 501 does not squeak at all .... at least one silent woman in our house, when pressing the buttons, makes a quiet click. Although today I will stand near her when I cook, she will make a noise ... I just have 2 two-year-old babies, so their squeaks and squeals all day ... maybe a cartoon and squeak, but definitely not louder than children ... them quieter for me automatically becomes soundless

I have 505, and she does not squeak anything. When I stopped cooking, I changed color, while there was a sound of a quiet click, which can be heard being nearby, in the vicinity of 30 cm from the multi. I conducted the experiment on purpose and waited for the end of cooking. The sound signal, as I understand it, can be heard, not only being in the vicinity of the multi, when my yogurt maker stopped working, the sound was heard in another room. It just seems to me that they did not finalize the instructions, or they did not translate correctly, or copied from another model, and did not correct it))) So, I was guided by the color of the readiness of the dish)))

Does the time remaining until the end of cooking show (count down)? Or does it just change color?
Yana Naumova
If I understood the question correctly, then yes it shows. For example, it remains for 5 minutes, etc. until it becomes 00, and immediately click and green)))
rusja
And after the end of the process and the green light comes on, on heating does not show how much it costs, starting from 1 minute and further?
T.Pavlenko
Hello! I am in the process of painfully choosing a multicooker (((
Owners of the 505th model, tell me, can you really change the temperature and time on EACH program, as the instructions say? turns out to be something like a multi-cook function?
For example, here is indicated in the instructions the program "languor", and the temperature is 105 degrees. I thought that languor is at a temperature of 80-90 degrees, plus a gradual increase in temperature. And here it is like this.
So far, I choose between pits 505 and the new Polaris 0517. Mainly because of the ceramic coating of the bowls (first of all, I want it to be safe), well, the number of programs is captivating.
azaza
The safety of ceramic bowls is as questionable as the danger of Teflon. Ceramics in cartoons is not ceramics at all, but the addition of a certain percentage of ceramics to something that is not clear. As a result, such coverage may be more dangerous than teflon. Or it may not be.
But the harmfulness of Teflon has not yet been clearly proven by anyone and nowhere. This is from a series of myths about the harmfulness of mobile phones. Maybe they are harmful, but you do not refuse them? And there is still a lot of harmful things around us that we do not pay attention to. Yes, even air and tap water are harmful now! It is not worth washing the dishes with it, and we even eat it (and not all of us first pass it through filters). At the same time, excessively purified water also does not add health.
In general, it is better not to delve into this topic, otherwise you will not want to live. Live for your pleasure, and do not frighten others. But in general, of course, it's the master's business. If you want ceramics - buy ceramics, thank God, now there are such options.
T.Pavlenko
In my opinion, a multicooker is completely different))) it is planned to replace cooking on the stove (safe), even if partially, by cooking in a multicooker. I am not against Teflon coating, if it is precisely indicated that it does not contain PFOA, or at least the coating is indicated in the instructions or the cartoon itself. I have pans with ceramic coating - is it different in the bowls? I like the pans.
It just so happened that the two multi ones that I liked have a bowl with a ceramic coating.
In general, I am more and more confused in the choice (((
azaza
In the cartoons, not frying pan ceramics at all.
Teflon releases its harmfulness into the product only at critically high temperatures (strongly over 200 *). In multicooker, the temperature rarely exceeds 150 *. So choose a multicooker by functionality and reviews, but not by the cover of the saucepan.
But this, again, is just my opinion.
Sakai

Today I'll try to set up the countdown ... I admit I'm honestly already annoyed by the topic with "squeaks, does not squeak" .... to hell with it ... if only I cook well ... for example, I like that on each prog you can set the tem-ru, it is very convenient and not many people have it and yesterday they looked at the Panasonic bowl, it was thin and scratched all over, although the girl bought it a couple of weeks before my purchase ... so let's focus on the good and accept that it does not squeak, but just changes Colour. Let's share the recipes ??

better tell me who cooked the pilaf = I got steamed rice9 for the kids, not bad, but rather rice porridge with meat came out) .... is it due to the fact that I added a little oil, mostly water? A man (sakai), a lover of mother-in-law's pilaf in Orion, what do you say, how is pilaf at mother-in-law ??

Friends!!!!!! Together we are strong!!!! I figured it out ... more precisely, I read the post about the countdown .... everything works ... the end of the time can be viewed by pressing the same 3 button on the right .... it is not constantly displayed on the display, but by pressing it you can see how many minutes are left! !!!!

Unfortunately, I have problems with the Yummy YMC-505BX multicooker. Almost everything burns up: the charlotte has a hat (the one at the bottom of the pot), stewed cabbage, meat, etc. A neighbor (a long-time multi-water) says that my problem is with the valve. When he cooks, he has little steam and the water returns to the pan, while my steam stands out from the valve. Disassembled looked.

As he explained:

Multicooker Yummy YMC-500

Steam enters through hole 1 into the valve, is cooled from the outer cover of the valve 2 (there is still a warning inscription outside), condenses and flows down, where it returns to the pan through holes 3. Excess steam, which did not have time to condense, comes out through hole 4. In this case, hole 3 should be covered so that steam does not come directly from the pan.

In my case, steam enters the valve through hole 1, and through hole 3 and flows out of the valve through hole 4 in a forward flow.

Because of this, the contents of the pan dry out quickly and begin to burn. The last time we managed to cook the stewed cabbage without burning it was by regularly adding water and slightly lowering the temperature (it seems it was 105). But this is not the case ...

Who has this multicooker working without burning, could you post pictures of your valve in disassembled form? Interested in a silicone white washer. How much does it cover the holes .. Thanks in advance!

Multicooker Yummy YMC-500

At this point, I turned the washer so that the holes were somehow closed. I will try and write about the results here.

A few more words about the Yummy YMC-505BX:

There is no signal about the end of cooking.
At the end of cooking, it goes into heating mode (the screen changes from red to green) without the possibility of first turning off this mode. That is, after each cooking, the heating mode will turn on. And you must turn it off manually.

Duration and temperature adjustment for all programs that we have tried.
There were mentions that the lid does not close well - I did not notice anything like that - everything is clear.
Shows how much is left until the end of the cooking program (at least in those modes that we used).
