or is it still a matter of taste

Exactly. Some, including myself, do not perceive malt in bread at all. So try it. For example, you can use kvass wort instead of malt. Have Stеrn many such recipes.

Omela-thank you - leavened sous? - honestly, I don't know where to look for all this, in some departments or at a bakery? Well, I flew the very next day and bought a stove, but is it really so, thanks for responding, maybe I’ll find everything and put the bran down — not the taste.

Bran and all other additives must be put in a strict percentage of the total amount of flour. Do not despair, try it, look for the recipe for your bread! Good luck!

Omela-thank you very much, yesterday you still went to the site there you can order these ingredients, of course I was inspired, and many more use dry kvass, well, already a light-that I can find something, I was encouraged, thanks!

And tonight I baked such delicious white bread that my husband admired, and you can't expect this from him Flower. He had asked for a loaf for a long time, but all the recipes were exactly like white bread. And this soft, tender and very fragrant bar. And what a fried it turned out Excellent! - I was surprised myself. Tomorrow I'll post a photo.
SKIPER
Hello everyone! We bought Philips 9020 3 weeks ago. baked white and French from the instructions. I liked Darnitsky more, the recipe was taken from the form "my bread maker". yesterday I tried to knead the pizza dough. maybe someone kneaded. I don't quite understand why, after the end of the 9th program (dough), turn on 12 (baking), well, of course I did as it was written. in general, the dough had to be thrown out, because it began to bake. so now I want to deal with this!
Nega
SKIPER, I bake pizza on my HD9020 regularly. The amount of ingredients indicated in the oven recipe book is enough for 2 regular-sized pizzas (24-28 cm in diameter), but I bake them, of course, in the oven or microwave (on Convection or Combi). 1 hour 30 minutes there is program 9 (dough) - it is perfectly kneaded and fits right up to the stove lid, I take it out in half and ... Yesterday, for example, it was Sunday and I got sick - I was sitting mostly at home, and I got it. In the morning I painted baguettes with garlic (the recipe, essno, I took from our glorious forum): the dough was kneaded and came up in a bread maker, and then the baguettes themselves were already in the oven. By the evening - in terms of pizza, but there were not enough ingredients for the filling for 2 pizzas, and my husband left the next day, and I won't eat so much alone. But there was a remnant of a head of cabbage, and now: the dough in mode 9 was made in a hard worker-oven (only this time I did not add basil and dried tomatoes to it, as the recipe book suggests). Half went to pizza (basil was put in the sauce, other ingredients - smoked brisket, fried mushrooms, onions, bell peppers), half went to my cabbage pie (I posted the minced meat recipe on the forum). She gave it to her husband on the road, and she ate it herself, and took it to work, to inspire the people for a new working week.
mirioran, faced the same problem, but added the malt part to rye recipes in the form of a dry mix for SAF kvass (the same company that produces excellent dry yeast). It turned out weird! In my oven there is no "Rye Bread" program, but I used the recipe (from our Forum, essno) - Borodino bread on beer, and everything turned out very tasty.
And finally, about the shaking and noise. The husband, a technically very intelligent man, says - it can be with DECETRATION! I did not notice any particular noise or tendency to shake behind my stove (I put it on a rather unstable kitchen table). But! I try to put a springy pad under it (you can just folded a towel, but I got such a rubber circle napkin - they say they were on sale at IKEA). Still, no one has shared - does anyone use the "express" modes on our stove?

Hello everybody! So I bought HP a week ago, baked basic and French, everything is super the first time. However, the store lied and sweet bread is not a cupcake at all. And who baked the cake in the KhP without preliminary kneading in another technique? And tell me, please, when it starts beeping about the additive, you need to open the HP, throw something there and that's it? She doesn't interfere anymore, does she? And won't the bread settle? and when to sprinkle sea salt and other sesame seeds so that it looks beautiful on top? So many questions I have
marffan
Hello! I baked the cupcake once, I liked it, I didn't really. When HP starts to peep, boldly open it and add what you want, it CONTINUES the batch. Unless, of course, it's not a Trouble. In general, I immediately add, I'm too lazy to wait for a call. Small seeds (flax, sesame) remain intact. Large - yes, grinds, but not to smithereens. But I gouged the raisins completely, I then did not find it. The sprinkling on top before baking must be watched, I sprinkle sesame seeds a couple of minutes before baking, open it carefully and close it just as carefully.
leka7
Thank you for your answer, but on what program did you bake it, we do not have a "cupcake"?
marffan
I kneaded the dough on 11 prog, there it seems about 12 minutes (or 14?) Then I put it on the 10th program, baking. I won't say exactly the time, but it seems like 50 minutes. I generally like this separation of programs. I bake rye bread like that. I put the dough (9 prog) then depending on the weight - baking time separately. It's great that you can track the rise of the dough - I'm still working carefully with rye dough - it behaves very obstinately for me
marffan
Leka, I forgot to say - before baking the cake, I pulled out the blades - so the bottom will be more beautiful and will not fall apart. And don't take out the cupcake right away. I take out the bucket right away (with bread too), but shake it out a little later. Good luck!

Good day everyone!
I bought HP Philips 9020, tried to bake bread from the instructions.
He was the first to bake Bread of the first grade, weight 0.5 kg, program 1. The roof fell.
Today I bought an electronic scale, I did everything according to the list and norms. I repeated the baking, but with a weight of 1 kg. The bread rose by only half of the mold and tore the roof. A question for connoisseurs of baking, what am I doing wrong?

Here's another in the instructions, an interesting feature in the recipe, a tab in yeast 1 tsp. is the same in all rates, 500g, 750g and 1kg. I would like to know how much yeast should you put?
marffan
tvmaster

Exactly! Figase! And I didn't even look. I never baked according to the attached recipes, I think you don't need it either. Try the local ones - always at the cashier. And look at the Temko about the bun - I always have to add flour.
leka7
I baked exactly according to the recipes, I immediately bought a scale. And what I noticed, the first time I added a spoon without a top of the yeast, it rose badly and broke the top, then I always added a spoon with a slide. Indeed, for all weights, 1 tsp. Now I bake 750 basic, milk in half with water - and the crust does not break and the bread is fluffier, if only the milk looks like a loaf.
And I also added 2 cloves of garlic - the smell is super throughout the house. Rosemary didn't like it.
Did you open the oven while baking?
marffan
No, I didn't open the lid. But you must? I knead for the first 10 minutes, I don't close the lid - well, add a four-thread there, peep behind the bun ... I think the bread will collapse if the lid is opened during baking. Although ... I look into the oven when I bake bread there. And nothing falls.

Greetings to all and Happy New Year! I have long wanted to buy HP, but somehow it did not work out. finally, on this NG decided. Day 4 spent on the net in search of a suitable one. The first impulse was to buy a Panasonic, but after rummaging through the instructions, I cooled down a little, especially the program for baking muffins (which I love very much) finished off, I had to beat the dough on the side, not in HP! Then, covering the bucket with baking paper, bake the cake V HP. And this is what they call a separate regime? УLG Russian chef is generally a great attraction. I finally decided on the selection criterion after the words of one comrade about the HP (which is already successfully rolling the second furnace in a row) "They are all the same, a bucket with a motor." Therefore, I chose Phillips 9020. Brought in late in the evening, there was no time left for baking. First impressions: that guy was 150 percent right! Equipment: oven, rectangular bucket (I don’t like cube-shaped bread), aluminum kneading spatula, hook for taking out the bread spatula, measuring cup, two-headed measuring spoon (tea spoon on one side, dining room on the other) Multilingual instruction on toilet paper ... And a colorful booklet with recipes from the instructions. The first thing I did was calcined the heating element 2 times for 10 minutes. For the first time, blue smoke from burnt oil poured out. The second time I just smelled. This morning I started experimenting. The first was baked white bread according to the first program in the amount of 500g. the crust is the most crispy, strictly according to the recipe from the manual. Bottom line: the bun is correct, I had to remove the dough from the sides of the bucket quite slightly during the kneading process. the dough worked well in the baking process the roof fell off. The taste and appearance of the finished bread is excellent. in the evening, sweet bread was baked according to the 6th program, weighing 750g with the addition of raisins on a bell, on a medium crust. There are no complaints about this bread at all. Bottom line: an honest machine at a fair price, without any temptations and initially overestimated greed of the manufacturer. PS did not find the button to insert a photo. Help!

Hello everyone! I want to buy PHILIPS HD-9020 bread maker. The store could not answer if she could knead dumplings. Tell me please.
Can you bake products made of batter (such as biscuit) in a bread machine?
KAH
Hello bakers! Accept replenishment. Three days ago, I bought my wife PHILIPS HD-9020 for my anniversary. The squeal was ...! The first three loaves were baked by the whole family (programs No. 1, 3, 5). The best is French bread. Rye was made according to the third program (for whole grain). It turned out to be edible, but very dense. Please tell me how to make fluffy rye with the least expenditure of effort and money.

I found a recipe for rye bread on this site. I really like it and I'll probably dwell on it for now.
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...f&Itemid=26&topic=14592.0

Only I am 380 ml.(I weigh everything on an electronic scale and I also take 380 in grams), I put 450 grams. rye flour and 150 gr. white bread. See for yourself on the dough during kneading.
The bread came out the first time. I put on the "Dough" mode for kneading min. at 20-25. Then I take the dough and shoulder blades out of the mold. Forming a brick. I put it back into the mold, turn off the oven and leave it on the rack for 2-2.5 hours. The bread rises 2.5 times and then goes to the "bake only" mode for 1 hour. 20 minutes.

Hello everyone, I joined your ranks a week ago by purchasing a Philips bread maker.
Actually, I came to say that I tested the cited recipe yesterday, everything worked out the first time, even if you take into account that I put almost two times less wheat flour. ... They distracted the family with some question ... Then I watched the kolobok and added flour as needed.
I kneaded for 9 - the dough, then in 2 hours the dough rose 2.5 times and baked for 12 - pastries (in my opinion, this is the number of the program, I can't see it now) for 1 hour 10 minutes.

Good day!
throughout the whole topic I meet phrases:
"you need 4 hours of free time"
"kneaded for two hours, then put it on baking"
etc.
however, I thought (and heard more than once) this option:
"Fell asleep, turned on, got it, ate"

Can you please tell me, is this option possible on the 9020 model?
and fell asleep in the evening, ate in the morning

or such an option for any stove a fairy tale?

ps: for now, just choose the stove.

Everything is just like that. It's easy after FILLING up, you need to control the consistency of the dough (not for long), but get it tediously on time.
The whole process takes 3-6 hours, depending on the program, if you leave the bread in the oven overnight (or for a day) it can become damp.

By the way, I wanted to write to the topic. Yesterday evening I set 500gr with a dark crust to bake on the 1st program, I thought: "I'll get up at night and take out the bread." Where there, of course, slept, overexposed after baking for 2 hours. She pulled out a wonderful toasted bread, put it on the wire rack and after 4 hours it cooled down and turned out to be superb !!! So now I know for sure that nothing terrible will happen if you leave it in the stove for a short time.

I also made jam (11th program), I can’t say what a yummy it turned out, I took berries (frozen) and sugar according to the recipe from the instructions.

Well, now I am the proud owner of the HD9020. Already baked white, rye, whole grain. So far, I have only one difficulty, I put it at the rate of 500g, so the bread is almost a full bucket, that is, it turns out very lush, even rye. I hope I will correct it over time.

Tell me - how big is the bucket in the Philips HD9020?
Does it make a lot of noise when mixing? (can I leave it overnight?)
Ollla
The bucket is not very large, to be honest I won't say about the displacement, but the bread is a maximum of 1 kg, visually two liters, but my eye is so-so. It seems to be quiet, I would leave it for the night easily.
Sveto4ek
Take from your ranks I bought myself such a stove today one while the question is, why do you need a hook ??
Teen_tinka
The hook is needed to pull out a spatula stuck in bread ...
Sveto4ek
Thank you, I have already read it. I decided to bake French, only it is so long, as much as 6 hours. I had to choose something quickly. The dough is already kneading
Sveto4ek
but do not tell me a link to the rule of the kolobok ?? I found something about wheat, and about another, and I can't find the basic rule
Sveto4ek
And everything, in principle, I understood There should always be a bun and that's it
baked my bread! So tasty!!! Only it was necessary to put a crust on a dark one

Hello everybody. Finally, back on the forum - 2 weeks of vacation. Congratulations to all new bakers on your purchase. I want to share my observations - I also began to get very dense rye bread and I stopped liking it. I constantly watched the bun and added flour to make it denser, but I didn't like the result. Then I thought that the recipe for rye bread, which I posted on the forum, when I did not know how to bake and just threw all the ingredients into the state of emergency, was better for me than now. I changed the yeast and began to monitor the bread. At first, the bun was dense, but then after proofing it became a little thinner, but I did not add more flour, but just flattened the bread with a spatula and let it come up. And my bread turned out to be porous and airy. Try it maybe it will help you.

Thanks for the information!

And no one will say more precisely the volume of the bucket in the Philips HD9020? I downloaded the instruction - there is no ...
I choose x / p, while such options are Philips HD9020, LG 206CE, Binaton 2068
(here LG immediately write on the case - 1.5 or 2 liters.)
As far as I understand, Philips HD9020 appeared on the market about a year ago and there is no data on long-term operation yet? I'm talking about the reliability of the bucket; about LG they often write that they flow in a year - two for almost everyone ... and Philips in this regard? and generally on the reliability of the apparatus?

This is a typing joke.
The baking mode for all bread machines is within plus or minus 170-180С degrees,
and at 120C, bizet can be baked in a few hours, it will turn out very good
and preferably in the oven, otherwise the sugar bucket may overlap (flow).
Above, they also asked about the reliability of the bucket, the bucket must be protected.
Pour water from above, not vice versa. After baking, when the bread has been removed from the bucket,
then immediately quietly turn the mixer and if it is stuck,
not to make strong efforts, but to soak it.
You need to check its mobility before each bookmark.
Such simple manipulations (precautions) will protect your bucket and it will last a long time. It is also very useful not to cook jam in HP for the same reasons.
This applies to all bread makers.
For saving the bucket with you a pie!
Sveto4ek
Oh well, thank God, otherwise I think what a useless regime Come to a pie, I eat freshly baked bread, it turned out deliciously A seven-month-old son took this piece from me and is sitting there eating
