Bread maker Philips HD9020 - reviews and discussion

I, in my opinion, showed off: I gave her a Philips HD9020 bread maker by March 8, but it does not appear here anywhere, and it seems that no one has it. If someone is as lucky as I am - share your experience and know-how, pliz!

Sonya68 wrote not so long ago that Phillips first arrived at their warehouse. Perhaps she will respond and tell you something. But if it's a new model, I don't even know. Nobody could help me with Vitesse either, but I have good instructions and an EXCELLENT SUPER forum, without which no instruction will help
Nega
Thank LiudmiLka Actually. I did not bake a fountain according to the attached instructions gluten-free bread on corn flour (a special baking mixture was bought with detailed instructions applied to a) a bread maker, b) an oven, c) somehow. But! the layout and sequence of adding the ingredients (for the same weight of the loaf) in the instructions for the stove and in the instructions on the box with the mixture DIFFERENT in two points. So I wanted to ask about the subtleties of baking cornbread.
LiudmiLka
This should go to Recipes - Yeast Bread - Bread Mix. There they will answer everything in detail and explain everything. I have never baked such bread. In Moldova, we have hominy made from corn flour, if it is also added to bread
Nega
See you - who has a lot of things where ... There, in Corsica - everything with chestnuts: bread with chestnuts, chestnut beer, chestnut ice cream, etc.
LiudmiLka
: flowers: Nega, have you already baked something in your HP? I see that no one responded here, I think that Sonya simply did not notice, because in "OPERATION" your topic is generally invisible. She would definitely help. Maybe write in "WHAT TO CHOOSE". And if there is an instruction, then, perhaps, have already figured it out? After all, HP, basically, are all alike.

And hominy is a very tasty thing. "We ourselves are not local", but I learned how to cook it, and I can't imagine our menu without it.

calmness, only calmness!
check your instructions with the instructions eg. Kenwood or LV, I mean by time, the layout in the program itself - I have, for example. :
kneading 5 min.
rest5 min.
kneading 20 min
proofing-40 min
deboning 10 sec.
proofing 20 min.
boning 10 sec.
proofing 50 min.
baking 50 min.
This will help you navigate the basic recipes. Although, I think that the standard time and temperature conditions. Almost everyone is the same. Only specific ones differ (French, fast, gluten free.)
I saw this stove in the store and I liked it.
Try Italian bread from Admin or Darnitsky from Fugasca - everything will work out for sure.
Nega
Yeah, thank you - I also wanted to ask LiudmiLka for the recipe for hominy, but I was overpowered! I like!
I baked Italian bread - nothing, for 4-. Here Darnitsky did - delicious! And the differences not so much in the regimes, as in the bookmarks, bother me: I bought all kinds of special flours (mixtures - rye-wheat, gluten-free corn, wallpaper), and there is a version of the instruction "For a standard bread machine" on the boxes. It differs from the one attached to Philips in a peculiar way - both in the order of laying the ingredients, and in how much water relies on the same amount of flour by weight, etc.
You have to experiment on your own ...
rinishek
Clever girl! I was sure that you have a good oven! Don't worry about the bookmark. I have tried this and that in my HP - no difference
Nega, you look at the forum for a topic there is about the ratio of the components of flour-water, flour-yeast, etc.
I remember, Coef. dry-liquid ratio for bread in CP = 0.56
Flour * 0.56 = liquid

the instructions on the box bags must be taken critically. In my experience - the best recipes on our forum

Good day!
I'm not a baker yet, I'm just studying information.
Please tell me if you are happy with Phillips? And what power it has. Something data is not available anywhere. How is the instruction? Understood?
Nega
rinishek, thanks - I already bake at every opportunity! The main problem is to be at home for 4 or more hours in a row (and not at night)! And so - and Darnitsky, and all kinds of French-Italian-cheese-whole grain with herbs and horseradish! Borodinsky on beer (didn’t come out - I don’t have a rye bread mode, and the baking only mode gives only 10 minutes. But what I managed to bake was very tasty!), Poppy roll (recipe for "Nirvana Buns). And a description of wonderful cupcakes I even placed it on the basis of curd bread in the corresponding topic. shorter kneading time and shorter duration and number of proofs, no boning, and baking time is the same as in the main mode.) But so far no one has responded.
In general, I am happy with the stove, there is one more pleasure in my life! Thanks to a separate one for the advice to correlate with the instructions for other hp!
Nega
SuperLissa, Philips bread makers have just begun to be delivered to Russia, in my opinion, even Philips has just started producing them. I got it from an acquaintance at my previous job (which, in fact, determined the choice - the company is famous, the products are obviously of high quality, and I paid much less for it than for analogues of the same class). But - I'm happy: compact, low-noise, The instruction is quite simple, but there is not much information: I was thrown a link to the corresponding Philips website, where recipes for kitchen appliances manufactured by Philips are specially given. I haven't climbed there yet: I get all the information I need on this stunning site, where a friendly creative people patiently and generously share everything they have gained from back-breaking work.
If you write in a personal message, I will send you a pdf instruction for my stove and a link to the Philips kitchen website.
Join me, I really love the diverse community of glorious bakers here!
SuperLissa
Nega, many thanks for the answer. Yes, you are right, this forum is really wonderful and the people gathered here are very nice and sincere.
Phillips, as you correctly noted, has just started production of bread makers. Today there are already 2 of them: like your 9020 and the new 9040 with a stand for baguettes and buns like Moulinex.
I will be grateful for the instruction! It would help me a lot! In the internet, I could not find her. And I found a reference to Philips-kitschen.
I also contacted the official representative of Philips to find out from them the capacity of both bread machines. They reported. But the sizes indicated are somewhat different from those indicated everywhere in the and-no stores and even in their leaflets! Now think

The other day I also acquired this miracle. I have tried to bake only regular wheat bread. There is not enough time for more.
I do not like the crust (too pale), and even more so the top. You have to bake "manually" for 10-20 minutes. Already laid the viewing window with foil (by the way, it is very large there), the effect is insignificant. I will try to find the tempo. sensor.
But the "baking" mode gives not 10 minutes, but from 10 to 1 hour 30 minutes. I was also very surprised at first after reading the instructions. I quote:
"The maximum delay time for the bake only program is 1 hour 30 minutes." And the data in the program table: Temperature-120 Baking time - 10 min. Processing time-10. min.
So don't believe it. In this program, the baking time is regulated by the arrows near the clock, not the delay. Baking begins immediately after the start.
Stove power 650 watts.

So what + and what - Phillips has?
Does everyone have a pale crust? The window here especially has nothing to do with the LZH also has a window, but it bakes normally, while Mulek has a palenenko.
Does the mixer remain in the crumb or in place?
The quality of the coating of the bucket?
What programs?
I really want to know, because it's time to choose a new HP, but everything is not perfect ...

I can't say anything about + and-. This is the first bread maker in history, there is nothing to compare with, and the experience is just over a month. True, I bake every other day, or even every day.
The link to the manual was given above, the programs are painted there. The stirrer remains in the bucket. All the breads and muffins were shaken out from there without any problems, there was no need to pick out.
What about coverage after a month of work? Well, it washes well, different rubbish does not burn. Cover as cover.
Who has been using it longer, can tell more?
Motrya
Thanks for the answer. That the mixer remains in the bucket is already Pts and Pts GOOD!

I'm new to the fun baking business. I recently purchased a PHILIPS HD9020 bread maker.
The first bread on the first program turned out to be successful.
Now I want to bake a cupcake. Unfortunately, there was no special program for cupcakes in my technique.
I decided to put the finished dough in an oiled dish and bake it according to the "Bake Only" program. But the duration of this program is only 10 minutes!
And what to do? Repeat start every 10 minutes? What if I have to bake for an hour? Won't my bread machine please me with a cupcake?

I decided to put the finished dough in an oiled dish and bake it according to the "Bake Only" program. But the duration of this program is only 10 minutes!

This cannot be by definition. Read the instructions for your HP. 10 minutes is a programmable minimum, which can be increased by pressing certain buttons. For example, in my HP up to 1 hour. I hope you succeed! If not, write, I hope that the owners of your HP will respond and give more specific advice!
Lyudmila and Co
Thank you for responding!
So I think that by pressing certain buttons this time can be increased each time by 10 minutes! But there are few buttons and the "Start" button seemed to me the most suitable - but pressing it again works only on-off, and does not add minutes. Disorder!
Other buttons: program selection, weight selection, delay timer and crust color. Not to press on them?
I have some kind of exotic bakery, there is little information about it. And the instruction didn't help.

My Internet is working very badly today, so I cannot give you the necessary links on our forum, where you can get information. I will try to direct you there in words.

First, you posted your question in the wrong place. It was necessary in the hardware part. To do this, go to the "Site menu" in the "Forum" section, there find the subsection of the HP hardware. And read there. Maybe your question has already been asked.

Secondly, I do not have my HP at hand now, but in my opinion, in order to increase the time in the "Baking" program, you need to click on "Delay start". Try it, nothing bad will happen!

Third, if I succeed, I will send you the link you need.

And the most important thing that I forgot, I congratulate you on registering on our forum !!! Hope you enjoy it here!
LiudmiLka
In my HP, the same "+" and "-" are used to increase or decrease the bake time as for the delay start time.
Is there really no Cake program?
And yet, it is better to bake muffins in the oven and knead them not in HP.
Lyudmila and Co
I already like it here!
I don't have an oven at all at home! Only the working surface of the hob. I don't really like to spend a lot of time preparing food, and then I pressed the button - I got the result! Technique for people like me, lazy and busy people!
I'll try to click on the time delay - although the instructions indicate that you can also delay this program (which means, with the same button).
In any case, I apologize for writing the question in the wrong place.
Now I will write to the Philips product support site, then to this site in the hardware part. It seems that everything will turn out for the better.
Or maybe your help will be sufficient.
I got your link - went to read!
Lyudmila and Co
Found everything !!! Hurrah!!! It turned out - just the costs of incorrect translation, this is how the instructions should be understood, I quote the EXPERIENCE:
But the "baking" mode gives not 10 minutes, but from 10 to 1 hour 30 minutes. I was also very surprised at first after reading the instructions. I quote:
"The maximum delay time for the bake only program is 1 hour 30 minutes." And the data in the program table: Temperature-120 Baking time - 10 min. Processing time-10. min.

Lyudmila and Co
As it turned out, this bakery is so exotic that little is known about it. It's good that they explained about the incorrect translation of the "Only bake" mode - about 10 minutes and a delay of one and a half hours. And at first I was upset, what can you bake in 10 minutes? We need to write to them on the support site - so that the instructions will be corrected.
My crust turned out to be normal - after turning off the baking, I keep the bread in the oven for another 7 minutes, and then I take out the form. And after another 5 minutes I shake out the pastries. The knife remains in shape, but sits so tightly that it is difficult to remove it even when hot.
And since I also have nothing to compare with - the very first bread baked exactly according to the recipe was a success. Although I only baked milk bread twice, I have not tried other recipes.
LiudmiLka
I also wish you success in baking and still advise you to buy an oven, because there are SO MANY chic recipes for bread, pies, cakes on the forum ... that you cannot do without it. The most delicious bread is still obtained not in HP, but it is sometimes used for baking bread, and more often for kneading dough
Lyudmila and Co
Thanks for the support! But there is no room for an oven in my small kitchen. Of course, if you knead the dough in HP, then there will be less worries with baking. But I like to help myself more than to mess around. From a young age I was a great enthusiast, and now I like to sew and knit more than to cook.
But we need to understand the range of dishes that my oven can create. In the meantime, I only bake bread. Like
Tatianyshka
Good evening everyone. I bought this miracle 2 months ago. I chose the bread maker for a long time. Of course, I really wanted to have a device that would bake not only bread, but all sorts of buns. I have two small children and this is important to me. Therefore, I really like the fact that this oven has molds for buns and baguettes. While I'm a baker - no one. I baked the usual white recipe several times - the result is excellent. When I bought rye flour, I found a recipe for rye-wheat bread on a pack, but there it was also given using panifarin. Since there is nowhere to buy it in our city, as well as other things - molasses, coarse flour, sourdough, and ... So I decided to bake without it - the result is excellent. The bread has really risen by half, the crust is light, but baked very well. I baked French bread, found a simple recipe for corn bread on your website. I liked the result. But I didn't like the bread using the deferral. Lumps of poorly baked flour formed near the rollers, but this was my only experience. I will try further. I have already mastered the buns perfectly. The result is always excellent. I also cooked jam and rice porridge - great too. In short, I'm happy with the purchase. The fact that the crust in this bread maker is always light does not bother me and does not upset me.Of course, while I have small children and time is short - I am interested in simple and quick recipes, but I hope to master more complex recipes over time.

Do we have exactly the same models of bread makers? Since in mine there are no forms for buns and baguettes

Hi Hi! The bread maker is just wonderful, I have 9040. There was only one upset - baking for 10 minutes. And it is on this on our website, I found out that it is not so !!!! Now I love the stove tremblingly. I bake bread more often in the oven, I feel more comfortable ... but even in HP the bread is excellent. So far there are no complaints about it, although the baguette molds are toy, but sometimes I bake buns in them for fun. Friends, connoisseurs and bakers say that she is better at kneading heavy dough. I don't know, there is nothing to compare with. She's my first ...
Tatianyshka
Hello everyone.
I will immediately apologize to my 9040 bread maker.

Just yesterday I looked at the warranty card and found that I have a different model of bread maker.
Thank you all for your support and links. If possible, I will master new recipes. Girls who baked muffins in this oven?
I would be grateful for the recipe and instructions.
marffan
Tatianyshka, hello, countrywoman! I'm talking about cupcakes: I immediately have a question - with raisins, candied fruits, etc.? The fact is that I cooked bread with raisins, added raisins on the "call". So the raisins were smashed to smithereens, I did not find them in bread, although I added decently. Our HP has very powerful blades. Let's think together. Can we think of something?
Lyudmila and Co
Well, our regiment of Filichek owners is arriving! We will step on the rake less, conducting various tests of the novelty, share our experience! And then everyone is shocked at first by pastries - 10 minutes.
As for the baguettes, they cannot be in my oven, because they gave me a cheaper option. And they chose quickly - they came to the store and left with the purchase - the best price and quality. Is the baguette model so expensive just because of the ability to bake buns? Or are there even more possibilities?
High engine power pleases. But mine shakes so much during the kneading that I was afraid to put it on a glass table - it works on a soft chair. Hopefully it won't light up?
And here's another very important question for me: if, after the end of baking, the oven is not turned off from the outlet, does it automatically go into heating mode, or what?
Lyudmila and Co
I want to share the experience of baking my first cupcake!
Took the recipe for the capital's cake. Everything was kneaded in order in the BROWN combine with an iron knife. Instead of butter - 130 g butter margarine, 150 g sugar, 3 eggs, 1 tbsp. l. currant liqueur (which was fragrant at hand), a pinch of salt, 250 g (instead of the prescribed 250 ml) flour, half a packet of baking powder (a bag is designed for 500 g of flour). And then she discovered that she had gone too far with flour! Correcting the mistake, I added washed but wet raisins, an extra egg and a pinch of baking soda.
All this was mixed again until the baking powder had time to react. The knives even smashed the raisins into pieces!
I smeared the form with margarine, sprinkled with flour, laid out the dough (the consistency of very thick sour cream), ran it on top with a wet finger, (as recommended against cracking). Baked for 1 hour 30 minutes (pierced it with a toothpick after 1 hour 10 minutes - it was no longer wet). Then - 15 minutes. in heating mode. It didn’t burn (here we have a feature of our HP to bake light crusts), the top rose - it didn’t settle and didn’t crack. Shook out of the form. After another 15 minutes. - cut. The raisins did not sink to the bottom. I just tried it - delicious. And not very bold.
That's how my oversight in the amount of flour helped the dough become thicker and, taking into account the recommendations of the members of the forum, I still baked my first cake! Outlet weight - 750g.
Do not be afraid! If it did not work out, there would be nothing to write about. And so - in a good mood I go to drink tea with a cupcake!
Conclusion: my bread maker likes the dough thicker than the oven.

Lyudmila, hello! about baguettes - they are tastier in the oven, but in hp ... well, in general, too, but, IMHO, such fuss is not worth it. I already wrote that I hardly use it - a toy, albeit a cool one. As for the power - I don’t know, it’s the same as that of others, well, in the sense that the meter does not shake almost, my girls, who have more experience than mine are sure that the blades interfere better. They took it for a test, compared rye bread and dough. As for the shaking when kneading ... I have it tight. Can the construction of 40 be more stable? It's a pity that this is so - the stove is super! Our programs have 14, but I mainly use tests - dough programs, pasta dough, sweet pastries. Tried the main one, French bread. Until the rest of the hands have not yet reached, I have it only 3 months.
In general, the stove is excellent, but the price still bites - I got more than 254 Panasonic.
I will definitely try your cupcake, but when will we venture from beginning to end in hp to do it ???

For lack of an oven, I had no way out - so I took a chance. Now I'm going to bake the second take - because the first one ended very quickly. I'm going to bake it in the same proportions, but 10 or 20 minutes less. And then I was very afraid of the collapsed roof and damp dough inside.
When I become braver, I should try the rye bread. Share your experience, who how did it pitch!
And about the shaking - who has a model 20 - please, does it shake during the kneading (on the first program) or not?
Tatianyshka
Good evening again.

Lyudmila - many thanks for the recipe. At the first opportunity I will try and report the result.

I read and think - I bought this unit in order to bake bread in it, but on the forum I read that many people use this device simply to knead the dough.
I think it is too expensive a pleasure to use it for 10 %%. I won't even argue that bread tastes better in the oven, but it is also good in HP. And the main thing is simple. And my oven is just great. But if you do everything manually, then why buy such equipment.

Мarffan - on account of baguettes and buns, on the contrary, I like that everything turns out miniature. I have small children 3.5 and 2.5, so they have the very thing in their little hands. They come from the kindergarten and fresh buns, and they eat them with fresh homemade kefir - a feast for the eyes.
So this has its own charm. And when guests come to the table to serve tea, it's also great.

I guess I love my HP so much that I'm ready to praise it forever.

Lyudmila - here's my recipe for rye-wheat bread. As I already wrote, when buying rye flour, I found a recipe on the pack, but there it was also given using panifarin. Since there is nowhere to buy it in our city, and I also read a lot of unflattering things about this product, I decided to bake it without it - the result is excellent. The bread has really risen by half, the crust is light, but baked very well.

A simple recipe. Given only for a loaf of 750 gr .:

- water 260 ml.
- salt 1.5 tsp.
- sugar - 2 tsp.
- sunflower oil 2 tsp. (I add olive)
- panifarin 3 tsp. (I am not adding)
- peeled rye flour - 200 gr.
- wheat flour 200 gr. (I add 250)
- dry yeast 1 tsp.

I myself add 20 grams of bran on a call.

Select bread weight - 750, medium crust, main mode 1.

The bread is flat, half a loaf in size, but bakes well. I can not post a photo - there is nothing to photograph.

Try it. Good luck

Yesterday I baked potato bread - very tasty and just as simple. If you're interested, I'll post the recipe.

Lyudmila and Co
Tatyanushka! Thanks for the rye bread recipe!
And why is this panifarin needed, if everything is OK without it?
So I found it: it is a flour improver, gluten, which is lacking in bad flour.
Due to poor harvest, we have canceled GOST standards for bread, now it will be baked according to TU. Surely, and the flour will get worse. But we will bake our own bread even without improvers!
A rye bread sometimes after white and milk really want!
Maybe try to bake it on a dark crust?
And the weight of 750 g is just right so that the roof does not run out of shape.
And I have my cupcake today for 1 hour 20 minutes. baked. I think it is possible for another 10 minutes. cut, but not more.
I also believe that HP should delight us with the full range of its capabilities. But no abuse!
And the recipe for potato bread will not hurt!
marffan
Tanya, hello! I totally agree with you - about the love of the stove! It's just that I bake pizzas, there are all kinds of cheesecakes ... We now live together, we don't need so much bread, so I bake in the oven. Small bread in HP is overdried. But I bake rye in hp and then in the freezer. Matnakash, too, can only be baked in the oven, but you won't be able to knead the dough with your hands - again she, dear, plows. I'll try to make your rye one of these days - there is a question - do you add malt to it? What is the color? I'm not very gray even ... And potato - yes !!!! Spread it out! My kids love all sorts of such bread, if they come, they have to be able to do it, and I earlier (3 months ago) did not know how to bake bread AT ALL!

Good morning everyone. While the kids are sleeping, you can get close to the computer.
Marffan - about malt, I only learned from you what can be added. As I already wrote, in our city there is little to find. And I looked at the malt these days - I didn't find it. And at the expense of the color, the bread turns out to be gray, but you can add 1 tsp for the color. chicory and instant coffee.

Here's a recipe for rice bread. Pts liked me and my family.
For 1 small loaf:

* 180 ml (3/4 cup) water
* 1 egg
* 350 g (3 cups) white bread flour
* 115 grams (1 cup) cooked rice, carefully drained
* 1 tbsp milk powder
* 5 ml or 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp sugar
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1 tsp dry yeast

For 1 medium loaf:

* 240 ml (1 cup) water
* 1 egg
* 425g (3 3/4 cups) white bread flour
* 150 g (1 1/4 cups) cooked rice, carefully drained
* 22 ml (1 1/2 tbsp) milk powder
* 1 1/2 tsp salt
* 2 tsp sugar
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1 tsp dry yeast

For 1 large loaf:

* 280 ml (1 1/4) cups of water
* 1 egg
* 575 grams (5 cups) white bread flour
* 200 grams (1 3/4 cups) cooked rice, carefully drained
* 2 tbsp milk powder
* 2 tsp salt
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
* 2 tsp dry yeast

Mode "Basic" or "Normal", medium crust.

Important: Make sure the rice is cool enough before using it in bread. It is very important to drain it well, otherwise the dough will be too wet. Watch how the dough is kneaded and add a little flour if necessary.

Showed off here about the cupcake. I did everything from start to finish in HP. Added a bunch of nuts. Recipe redone
- and got something out. I wanted to throw it out, but my husband ate everything.
Said it was edible, but don't do that again.

I found a recipe for rye bread on this site. I really like it and I'll probably dwell on it for now.
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...f&Itemid=26&topic=14592.0

Only I am 380 ml. (I weigh everything on an electronic scale and I also take 380 in grams), I put 450 grams. rye flour and 150 gr. white bread. See for yourself on the dough during kneading.
The bread came out the first time. I put on the "Dough" mode for kneading min. at 20-25. Then I take the dough and shoulder blades out of the mold. Forming a brick. I put it back into the mold, turn off the oven and leave it on the rack for 2-2.5 hours. The bread rises 2.5 times and then goes to the "bake only" mode for 1 hour. 20 minutes.
Bon Appetit.
I don't know how to insert a photo. Maybe someone will teach.
