Cake "Christmas wreath" (page 2)

Reset
Vika, I now have the opportunity to use only homemade cream, very fatty and thick. What do you think, if you take only them, without cream cheese, it will work out fine? Will they mix with caramel?
Kinglet
Reset, Nadia, I think that they should mix normally, I don't see any obstacles here - of course, they will mix, just look carefully, don't interrupt. Homemade cream very quickly turns into butter :)) I also heard that girls sometimes add milk to very thick homemade cream, but I have never done this myself ... In addition, very many do not mix caramel and cream, but simply coat the cake in layers - first caramel, then cream - you can try it anyway, but it seems to me that the cake will soak worse this way - caramel will block the contact with cream for the biscuit

Vika, I made your cake, I liked the taste, the only thing I did was drink a lot of zest. Cake baked 1.5 portions of cake with a diameter of 16cm and a height of 25cm.

bukabuza, Lenaaaaaa, well, wow - what a handsome man, I'm just incredibly delighted And what a mind-blowing cut! It seems to me that you made it even more fluffy than mine. You just hit me on the spot - a wonderful cake! Smart girl! And how much zest is? Felt a lot?

I had an orange sugar ball, I made the preparation 1k2, put it 60g, this turned out to be a bit too much, but the children liked almost everything they ate. Caramel next time I will do a double portion for the cream.

bukabuza, yes, Lenochka, I agree, everything comes with experience - once you do it, then it's easier to choose all the flavors to suit your preferences Thank you for trusting the recipe and trying it, and even for such an important and responsible occasion
