Adjika with horseradish without cooking

Ingredients

ripe fleshy tomatoes 3 Kg
bell pepper red 1 kg
bitter pepper 200 g
horseradish root 300 g
garlic 200 g
sugar 200 g
vinegar 150 ml
salt 4 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • I saw a similar recipe here, but decided to share it, the proportions are different and the bitter pepper is added. I must say right away that I put less bitter pepper, so that it was not so hot. Salt, sugar can be added at the end to taste.
  • For raw adjika, I always peel a tomato, I like it more.
  • Read all the peppers, garlic and horseradish, wash and dry a little.
  • First twist the tomatoes, bell peppers, garlic through a meat grinder. And it is better to twist horseradish and hot pepper at the end into a separate bowl, putting a cellophane bag on it with a meat grinder - this is so that tears do not flow.
  • Add sugar, salt, vinegar to the twisted mass, mix, taste, and then add horseradish with hot pepper. Let the mass stand for an hour until the crystals are completely dissolved.
  • Wash and sterilize jars and lids. Pour Adjika and store in the refrigerator.
