I also bought a multi-mixer for him.

Oh, how happy you are! Congratulations! Now I, too, with a Bosch combine (albeit with a different one), bought 10 days earlier, but have not played enough yet !!! Isn't that great? Just explain, please, what a multi-mixer is, otherwise we are illiterate ... This is me in case: suddenly I need it too, but I don't know about it!

Nat_ka, this model is very interested, you could not answer the questions
what are the general impressions? How does a multi-mixer cut on graters, what shape, what pieces remain (large or small), how does a conventional mixer work? powerful? Did you notice any cons?
and whisper, please, where did you buy this miracle and how much (just very much interested in Lugansk)
Thank you!
Nat_ka
Lanusik , I answered you in a personal.

I brag:

Food processor Bosch MUM 8400

I ground the poppy today. It turned out finely, finely. It was possible to grind on a deuce.

Food processor Bosch MUM 8400

And grinds flour perfectly!
Nat_ka
Regarding the multi-mixer: the set includes three graters. Standard: slicing (for vegetables), coarse, fine grater (for vegetables and soft cheese) and grater for hard cheese and vegetables for potato pancakes, etc. Minor residues.

There is also a chopping knife in the multi-mixer, with which I make wonderful mayonnaise. I also like to lightly grind poultry felé in it into cutlets, so that whole pieces come across, and not minced porridge.
The multi-mixer must be assembled correctly, everything must be fixed. Otherwise, you can't even put on a combine.
About the blender: plastic, high knives! I make cocktails and pancake dough. I didn’t grind the nuts. I do not have enough spout in the blender to pour it out of it conveniently.

Thank you! very interesting

and here is a whisk for beating - it is so large in the photo .... but how is it in the bowl? and how does it beat?
Nat_ka
Corolla large

Food processor Bosch MUM 8400
Food processor Bosch MUM 8400
Beat whites with a hand mixer more habitually With this whisk, whip cream and curd mass. Whisk longer than manual. But I'm just getting used to the combine. To be honest, the whisk hasn't been adjusted properly yet. My husband is on the road, I'm waiting.
Lisss's
oh, thank you !!! yes, I have a big mum 47 (as well as 6, and 5530), so in 47 there will be a smaller corolla ... this cool

I like to beat whites in it - a little longer, but don't hold it with my hands, I weigh sugar and flour in parallel

and, more recently, I noticed one trick - I used to beat eggs on a charlotte sponge cake, then add sugar, and then flour, and all this, with a thick mesh whisk. and the flour got stuck in the mesh and did not stir, and now, after the eggs and sugar, I change the thick mesh whisk to one that has 3 wires - super! flour mixes in quickly and evenly. With a spatula, of course, I take it off the walls once in the middle of kneading, but it interferes remarkably!
Nat_ka
I'll know! So far I have adapted to the click of the whisk and the rest of the kneading hooks to insert a lot of time has passed. She even scratched the bowl with a hook ...

She even scratched the bowl with a hook ...

yes, it's not scary, it's metal - nothing will be done to her from a tiny scratch

I grinded the cottage cheese with an immersion blender right in this bowl, and hooked it to the ledge in the middle - also such a decent scratch gnawed ... I thought the blender would fly out of my hands like a rocket

I think that we are not alone

Food processor Bosch MUM 8400 with planetary movement of the kneading hook and beaters. How many minutes does he knead the dough according to the instructions? While I dream of buying it.Is there a slow kneading speed of yeast dough in it? A shredder goes to it, what functions does it perform? But the function of planetary movement is tempting, apparently it gives airiness to the test when kneading. Girls, who has such a miracle, write in more detail. It is also possible about the MUM 86R1 model. They are similar, only more power.
Nat_ka
I can answer by slow kneading yeast dough. You can knead with a hook only at a speed of 1-2. And this is slow. I don't know how long. While he (the combine) kneads - I am doing something else. I only follow the process and stop it when I see that there is enough (more often I still make dumplings or for shortbread)
planetary motion ... well ... that's A chopper in this model, most likely a blender. There is no other in the configuration. You will have to buy a lot.
lyubochka
Hello! Thank you for your reply. I have another question. The yeast dough is kneaded, can it be left in this bowl to rise, so as not to transfer it to another container, whether it is sufficient for this or not, then knead the dough by turning it on again? I understand that the harvester can knead up to 3kg of dough, but is there enough space for lifting?
Nat_ka
Combine bowl 5.4 liters. If you can leave 3 kg of dough in a container of such a volume for lifting, then it is possible I did not do such volumes. There is an iron bowl, I am confused by the fact that it is rather cold and will the dough rise there? I understand that you are not going to rearrange it?

Look at the Kenwoods, there is a model 020 - 7 liters, I think.
lyubochka
I have already tuned in to BOSCH, but such a bowl is enough for me. If it is not difficult to remove it (the bowl), then you can put it in a warm place, just transfer it from one container to another, it seems to be not convenient, and so, covered it with a towel to warm it. I put the dough in a bread maker, but you can't put much there, somewhere up to 1kg, and maybe even less. One baking sheet of buns turned out. The most important thing here is that the kneading is slow, that the dough leaves the walls. Thank you for your answer. I will order.
lyubochka
Hello! I am writing again In our city, there were no such models in stores, I had to order through the Internet store, there were, today they brought it to me, a friend picked it up at the store, they did not turn on the combine, they showed the completeness and external examination that everything was intact , not broken. I was so happy, I began to study the instructions, first of all I decided to try the kneader, but it does not turn on, I am in shock. Then I decided to install the mixer, it works. Again to the kneader, I close everything, the bowl all the way, everything goes into the grooves, but does not turn on. Maybe what I'm doing wrong? Tell me, what tricks are there? Did you turn on right away? MIM model 84. Slovenia. I called the online store, explained the situation, promised a specialist, but so far there has been no call. Here is such a failure for me.
abvgdeika
Dear owners of Bosch MUM 8400, share your opinions about your combine, we managed to find very few reviews on the Internet
I am tormented with a choice, I really like the Bosch MUM 84MP1 package, with a meat grinder included. Maybe someone has one? What can you say about the work of a meat grinder?
Nat_ka
So I understand that the model is new, so there are few reviews. I am pleased with the choice of Bosch 8400. There was no meat grinder in my configuration, but I have a separate Bosch meat grinder. Grinds meat perfectly Don't worry about the harvester, great model. The main thing when buying is to look that everything is in order. But he knows more about it lyubochka.
abvgdeika
Nat_ka
and what can you note of the minuses? You wrote that whites take a long time ...
In general, the main thing for me is that any dough should be kneaded well, both yeast and for noodles ... Well, beat the cream, of course
There is no meat grinder in the house either, so I decided to buy everything at once. I hope 1400 will be enough power for her ...

I can't say yet, I was replaced, there was an examination, I waited 10 days, now my son took him away (he has been on a business trip, has been driving him in the car for two weeks already.) Will bring him on Friday, I will be testing him for the holidays. Then I'll write. One piece of advice is to check everything when buying, not only integrity and completeness, but also in operation. The mixer worked for me, but the kneader did not. : (I ordered it through the online store.

I also have to order through the online store. And check everything with the courier directly?
What store did you order through? (can be in a personal) And how was it replaced?
So many questions. I just ordered the equipment through the Internet store only once, it works well. But there was a small marriage for one spare part, so they exchanged themselves, well my husband went just to Moscow on a business trip
lyubochka
I don’t know if the courier will show if it’s not turn on the iron. I ordered in Krasnoyarsk, but I couldn't pick it up myself. In Moscow I ordered an Atlas 150 noodle cutter, received it by mail, everything came fine. But why a friend was not shown it at work, but only the completeness and that the whole is not broken, I do not even know, although he insisted that they show it. So that's okay, they will replace it and there is a guarantee, but how much trouble with this ... The models are good, the reviews are good about them, but I was unlucky, I'm waiting now.

Hurrah! They brought me a BOSCH MUM 8400 combine. Everything works, I checked it and even tested it, I was impatient to wait for the morning (they brought it at 11 pm). I was interested in the kneader, well, don't you start pies for the night? Tested for noodle dough, 3 eggs-kneaded perfectly

I boast! I was kneading yeast dough for buns, for 0.5 liters of milk, it was kneaded perfectly! My mother was an expert, she is 76 years old, she has a lot of experience in the test. What kind of pies and cakes she bakes, and before I helped her knead the butter dough, kneaded in turn, it's hard to do it with my hands. And now she said - BEAUTY !!!

Lyubochka, great looking buns! The taste, I have no doubt, too! Therefore, I would like to receive a complete recipe for buns, with all the details!
lyubochka
We call these buns "sprinkles", we start the dough without dough, about 5 liters of milk, 1 tbsp of sugar, 3 eggs, 200 g of butter or margarine, a pinch of salt, vanillin, 50 g of raw yeast. Melt the butter slightly, heat the milk to steaming temperature, add yeast, beat the eggs and knead a not very thick dough, take the flour by eye. We put the dough to heat. Twice the dough fits, and on the third rise we cut it into rolls in the form of a ball. Grease the top of each ball with oil and dip this top in the topping. We make the topping from 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of sugar, and how much flour it takes, grind until flowable. We let the proofer for 10-15 minutes and in the oven until golden brown.

lyubochka, congratulations, great toy !!! And what delicious buns. You are just a fine fellow! Lyubochka and marshmallows did you make according to what recipe?
Yes, yes, can you tell us more about such a wonderful marshmallow?
lyubochka
Girls, thanks for the congratulations! Now I play with him, as with a toy. I'm testing him. So far, all (y) A took the recipe on the Internet, called the marshmallow "Northern" (5 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp water, 0.5 tsp citric acid, 6 tsp gelatin, 1 tbsp water for gelatin, vanillin. Soak gelatin for 1, 5-2 hours in 1 tbsp of boiled cold water, cook sugar as if for fondant with 2 tbsp of water, after boiling for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly, we determine the readiness by pressing a little syrup and drop it into a glass of cold water, the drop should not be at the bottom Remove the syrup from the stove, add the swollen gelatin, citric acid, vanillin and beat with a whisk.I beat at the second speed for 5 minutes, then at 3 speeds for 5 minutes and 10 minutes at 4 speeds. it is said that it is necessary to whip by hand for 1 hour, so you can be left without hands, although I cannot judge by the splendor, the combine coped with the power.

Although Lyubochka and I are few (unlike Kenwood fans), we are fans of this harvester. A worthwhile thing!

Lyubochka, show off the dough rolling attachment. Have you bought it already?
lyubochka
Nata, I didn't buy the attachments, I ordered them, but they are silent. I ordered a mill and a multi-mixer. And I have a rolling machine, I got a good one before the combine, Atlas 150, Italy. I also want to take a closer look at the universal cutting MUZ 8 DS1 and the julienne disc. As far as I understand, it is possible to cut vegetables into the bowl itself through this cutting, it will be especially convenient in the fall, when a lot of vegetable preparations have to be made. In a multi-mixer, I understand I cut it a little and I need to shake it out in order to cut another portion, but here it goes straight into the bowl. In the picture, where all the attachments and graters that go to the combine, there is a plate, and the cutting is beautiful. What do you think?
Nat_ka
The functions of multi-mixer and universal cutting are the same. If you have something to whip up mayonnaise and a normal meat grinder, then it's better to take one universal cut. A julienne disc - it is good if you can cut long "sticks", which is almost impossible when laying a vegetable in a small hole (again, universal cutting, if I am not mistaken). The miller is super. The flour is excellent. Not at all like the one that I took "coarse whole grain". She is so warm after the mill and the color is beautiful and the bread is delicious.
Sandy
Happy owners of Bosch MUM 8400 who have a mill, can you tell me if it grinds sugar into powdered sugar?

Nat_ka, please tell me in a multi-mixer with those graters that come with it, how do potatoes rub on potatoes?
Rubs with tiny thin stripes, not porridge. I do, I like it.
As for the mill, sugar was not ground. The instructions do not say about sugar.
Sandy
Nat_ka, thanks for the answer.
So they delivered to me today: wow: my dream Bosch MUM 8400, from additional devices, took a multi-mixer. What else I need has not yet decided.
Sandy
I have already tested my harvester. Very easy to operate, everything is easy and simple to assemble, remove, etc. the main thing is to carefully read the instructions.
I made yeast dough with the maximum load (750 ml. Liquid and 1500 kg. Flour), kneads perfectly, and most importantly quickly. Nothing remains on the walls of the bowl, ideally mixes from the walls and bottom.
I also tested a multimixer, namely a vegetable cutter, that is, it chops all disks as which one. I was very pleased that as for the potato pancakes, you can rub it in thin strips, or you can also in porridge. Slices are what you need, too.
Girls who still doubt take it unambiguously! You will not regret 100%.
It's worth the price !!
Sandy
Who is interested, chopped onion in small slicer

Sugar cannot be grinded, because it caramelizes from high temperatures and puts equipment out of action - now there is only one plastic there. If metal, then there is a great chance that it will survive.
