all rice cookers Canada

now it became clear that just the opposite is true:
in Canada, at the moment, only multicooker for 5.5 cups has been found - this is a liter ... which is much less than our usual cartoons ...

the search for a "regular" 4.5-liter multicooker continues .......

Well, not quite so 5.5 cups with a capacity of 1.7 liters, Russian have 10 cups,
capacity 3.1 liters. And 4.5 liters is still necessary to look, this is probably 18-20 cups ... Look, God help ...

I look at the box from my multivark: 4.5 liters - this is 3.1 liters - until the last risk, apparently. It's just that the box shows the volume of the entire pan, not the volume of the food being cooked ..
Pakat
So it is written in the instructions - you cannot fill above the upper mark ...
A useful volume is considered, the rest is from the evil one ...
foxtrader
So that saucepan, which is 1.7 liters, also probably has such risks, beyond which one cannot go, or is 1.7 liters just before the risks? And sometimes they ask me about the volume of such a saucepan, but I don't know what to say, I have a Russian version.
Pakat
Canadian SR-TMB10 - full volume 3.1 liters, water up to 1.9 liters,
factual, verified data ...
Russian SR-TMB18 - full volume 4.5 liters (on the box), up to risks of 3.1 liters (according to the passport), and check the actual data yourself ...
foxtrader
Pakat , Thank you.
All the same, for stew and the like, 1.9 liters is quite enough, but for soup, biscuit and muffins, it is somehow already not enough. So I will say.
Pakat
Enough for everything, a family of 2-3 people is quite suitable.
If the family is larger, then you need to take 10 cups at least ...

It looks like multicooker has been discontinued. On the American site Panasonic there are 7 models of new rice cookers, but no multicooker.
I phoned several online stores in Moscow, which indicated the presence of a gadget on the site, in fact, there are no multicooker in the warehouse. Some guys promised to bring in 2 weeks under an order for 7500
So we are waiting for the rice cookers. Maybe they are the same in function

their multicooker is called Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker with Cake Function
I see it on their Canadian website:

On the global site, of all Kitchen Appliances, they only have clickable bread makers, rice cookers are simply listed among other devices.
Mambo
Then in American it's SR-YB05P
Rice Cooker / Warmer with 3-Cup Uncooked Rice Capacity and Advanced Fuzzy Logic Technology

It turns out that the new model is not so bad in the Middle Kingdom

There are multicooker in Canada!
all rice cookers of Canada from Panas.
Anything that says Fuzzy Logic or Micro-Computerized is a multicooker. True, some functions are somewhat different than those of the Russian ones.

rita1969, the whole topic must be read, 10 cups are large, this is only Piglet, and then there are Sanyo, Zojirushi, Korean Tiger, Cuckoo and others ...
rita1969
I read the whole topic - maybe I am vaguely formulating the questions - but they are
is there a large multicooker in Canada, let's say in liters-4.5 liters, which not only cooks rice but also bakes n-r-me the company is not so important (they just talk about Panasonic here more) how much the size of the pan and the variety of functions.
It is not clear to me what this rice cooker can do other than cook rice (according to its
description)
Can she cook soup make pilaf stew meat and bake muffins
Pakat
rita1969, I don’t understand where you live and do you read English?
After all, it is enough to click on the corresponding model, read its description and the choice of programs in it:
SR-MS182
Fuzzy Logic versatile cooking (White, Brown, Sticky rice /
15-minute quick cook / Porridge / Slow cook & steam)
Kapet
Aaaaaa, why such discrimination of the Slavs!
I looked at the parameters of Panas SR-MS182 for Canada (by the link above), there is this: "24 hour clock & preset timer". Our multicooker has a maximum of 13 hours.

Why?
Pakat
Kapet, patamu, patamu, which ends in u ...
All new models have 24 hours, although I don't think anyone will put this into practice ...
Now Piglet will change the model in Russia and you will have a day ...
Gypsy
Kapet, it costs two hundred bucks, and the Russian model in Canada is several times cheaper ... if it still exists at all.
Kapet
Sorry for offtopic ...

Looked at Panasonic's range of multicooker / rice cookers for Canada. Everything is very nice, but there is nothing similar in functionality to our cartoon. I felt better. Let the new models have 13 hours, so long as our functionality is not diluted ...
Pakat
Kapet, so the functionality did not go anywhere, just 6 programs on Russian cartoons, and in ours 8, that is, they just added new features ...
Kapet, yes all new, this one for example: Merry
SR-MS182
Fuzzy Logic versatile cooking (White, Brown, Sticky rice /
15-minute quick cook / Porridge / Slow cook & steam)
rita1969
You want to say that if the manufacturer says that three types of rice can be cooked in five ways in a rice cooker, this may mean that you can stew meat and cook soup with pilaf and bake pies there.
Pakat
rita1969, I've already written a lot about multicooker ...
He who has ears will hear, he who has eyes will read ...
Gypsy
I looked at the Americans at the amzone and ebay, I did not meet such a model,
By the way, for Caprice you can also see how they indicate the volume of pots Capacity: 1.0 Litres / (1-5 cups)
winter
Well now I will help too.
I ordered mine from America, what's the difference what is called, it does everything the same as the famous Russian cartoon.
Pakat
winter, so no one argued, does the same ...
Only for Piglet, thousands of recipes have already been adapted, and you have
Gypsies and other owners of Sanka had to ask ...
Now you yourself will help others, you are not well-known ...
Gypsy
My opinion, indirectly these are \ recipes \. What is the recipe? a set of products? you can cook at least on a fire would be an interesting and tasty recipe
Pakat
Gypsy, do not distort ...
Recipes, modes, time not to stand above her ...
And so even at the stake, at least eat it raw ...
Gypsy
Batiushki modes yes, she will sort it out quickly with modes .. you might think that technology in America is sold without instructions. yes they are and the Internet is full
It costs 1 time to cook at each mode and in time everything will become known
winter
The gypsy really helped me, and if necessary, I can now help. But it's not difficult to figure it out, but the coating of the pans is unique, for example yesterday I thought I thought that this was a miracle the rug did not come up with, greased the saucepan with oil, poured dough into it and, strangely enough, nothing burnt, but is it the same in Panasonic?
Ellka
winter
Also at Panasonic Nothing sticks, does not burn
And the rugs are laid on different occasions ... who preserves the saucepan, who just finds it more convenient to take out baked goods with them
Pakat
ukka, some kind of left store, there is no address, phone numbers, although they write that since 1979 ... It's risky to buy in this one ...

I envy the assortment and prices of the Mercan Amazon, but they do not send them to Canada ...
Add the dog to the prices, the tax is 13% ...

I have a question of a confused newcomer in a new country, with knowledge of English at the level of a school in the USSR. Here, my husband brought my baby and me to another continent, and he flies back in a week. My son is at that age when he leaves his mother in case of emergency, I want a multicooker to help. Hence, probably a stupid question: And the multicooker Canadian Panasonic SR-MS182, it's almost like the Russian SR-TMB18, can I compare the Russian instructions in Russian to the Canadian ones and compare the recipes?

ent? this is my Sonya, which I am waiting for from day to day. According to the review - one of the best models in the balance of price / functions / reliability. 58 Baku - and that's all.
I read the site for four days - and I can't come to my senses from surprise that 99% of my former compatriots, for some reason, are using a multicooker to cook only one Panas model

It's just that we have practically no other models and manufacturers on sale. So everyone is fixated on Panasonic. If there was a choice, everything would be different.
Only recently other similar aggregates began to appear a little bit, but the people (who know about the existence of multicooker) out of habit are drawn to Panasonic.
For example, these cartoons appeared on sale this summer.

when they were only in the announcement, they were discussed on the forum, but now no one has ever tried to buy, although the price is very attractive. The first one costs 2500 rubles, and the second one costs 2900 rubles.

I know. I just argued whether this, then looked through the link.
That Sonya is smaller.

I think I met her here too - in any case, the original for an ordinary plate and casserole - I looked here and on the dial tone in what mode to do it. The recipe is simple - a little oil on the bottom and then layers of onions, carrots, beets, fish, and again. From proprav - only salt, allspice and lavrushka. In the original, a little water is poured and stewed over low heat. I did not dare not to pour water at all in the cartoon - and in the cartoon recipes this was not mentioned (I was looking for fish with vegetables), and as a result I poured too much water. I stewed white rice on the prog - it turned out delicious, but I poured the yushka back - and added rice - it also turned out great, plus it was also bright pink.

Now I think, maybe I should have used porridge / soup mode? I do not have temperatures in the instructions, but there is time - white rice 35-54 minutes (depending on the amount). There was a lot of quantity - it took about an hour to stew.

Hello everyone!
Pakat and everyone who knows. I am also a newly made resident of America. I have a question about these very multicookers:
I read all the instructions and did not understand: both Cusinart and Panasonic, which are sold in the USA.And like me everything in Panasonic suits. The only question is about the bottom of the pilaf function in the Russian version, but at the end the high temperature is turned on for baking / browning. But I can't find such an option in the American cartoon.
I really want the pilaf function!
Thanks in advance!

Regular = Buckwheat. Also used to boil regular white rice.
Quick Cook = Cooks faster than Regular by 10-20 minutes.
Rinse Free = Mode for special Japanese rice that does not need to be washed.
Sushi = Rice for sushi.
Porridge = Quenching.
Steam = Steam cooking.
Brown Rice = Pilaf. Also used to boil brown rice.
Cake = Baking. The difference from the Russian multicooker is that this mode is automatic, 43 minutes long. If you need to bake longer, then turn it on a second time, and set an external timer to know when to turn it off.
These ratios were made 2 years ago, for the Panasonic SR-NA18, but I think they will be true for the Panasonic SR-MS182 ...
Check, everything is in your hands ...

Thank you, Pakat!
Here I suddenly got a card from BedbathandBeyond as a gift - I have nothing to do with it. But there, too, rice cookers are sold, but only some Zajirushi, CusinArt and sanyo.
So I think I haven't found baked goods in Sanyo and CusinArt, but can you make pilaf in them?
Although of course - I somehow liked the Panasonic more - maybe I will sell the card to someone)
Pakat
Zojirushi, Sanyo, very good multicooker, only the modes will have to be selected. CusinArt, simpler, but not bad either ...
They will help in mastering Sanyo, someone has them on the forum ...
