Thanks for the simple and delicious recipe.
A clear button "porridge" and, indeed, "everything is at home"
I had no hips and legs. I replaced them with breasts, which I previously held for half an hour in a honey-soy marinade and fried until blush. Also missing were pumpkin and celery, but frozen cauliflower and green beans. She put in half a packet. I replaced tomato paste with canned tomatoes in my own juice. The smell is worth it - awesome!
I put this miracle on heating until the arrival of the home. It turned out both the chicken and the side dish for it.
There was also a lot of broth. Thanks for the thought - I'll salt it and make rice on it !!!

I baked the curd casserole again from page 7, changing the recipe slightly. It turned out even tastier! True, there are more dirty dishes. Let me remind you that I have 10 model Toshiba.

Regular cottage cheese 9% - 600 g
Eggs 2 pieces
Semolina 2 tbsp. l. with a small top
Sour cream 2 tbsp. l. with a small top
Sugar 3 tbsp. spoons without tops
Raisins 2 tbsp. spoons, you could have 3
Zest of 1 orange
Vanillin on the tip of a knife
About half a pea salt
Baking powder half a teaspoon without top

First of all, mix the sour cream and semolina in a plate, set aside. Fill the raisins with hot water, let them soak. Beat the eggs with a mixer (which has 2 whisks and a rotating bowl), after 3 minutes add sugar, vanillin, salt in 2 doses. We continue to beat for 10-15 minutes or until we finish other things to prepare the dough. Lubricate the bottom and walls of the MV bowl with butter. Place the cottage cheese in a small saucepan and grind with a blender to approximately the state of a curd mass or cottage cheese in packs. We remove the blender. Add a mixture of semolina and sour cream to the same saucepan, mix with a spoon or spatula. We wash the pre-soaked raisins, add to the cottage cheese. Remove the zest from 1 orange (this can be done with a fine grater), it is also into the cottage cheese. You can mix again. Then everything is better to do quickly! Last but not least, add baking powder, mix quickly, and immediately stop beating the eggs. Carefully spread the curd mass into the egg mixture, turn on the mixer again at minimum speed. Mixing with a spatula can be helped. You don't need to mix for a long time, as soon as everything seems to be mixed and there are no obvious signs of unmixed dough (well, or what to call it?), Immediately put it all in the MV bowl, close the lid and on the "Porridge" mode. I took out the casserole almost immediately after the signal about the end of cooking. First, you need to walk with a silicone spatula around the perimeter of the casserole, make sure that nothing sticks. Then put a plate on top and turn it over quickly. Nothing fell apart for me. Freshly baked casserole is rather moist, airy, and by its consistency it slightly recalls "Bird's milk". This is where it should be served to the table! Can be with sour cream. Then the casserole will harden, settle and become "boring"
Bon Appetit!

And one more thing: I set the soup to cook yesterday, set the time to 20 minutes. It wasn't enough for me, I ran this function again and set the time again. But for me the countdown did not start immediately, but after a very long time. I understand, when I launched the first time, she had to warm up to a certain temperature ... but the second time this temperature was already ... what was she waiting for? ...

To be honest, I don't go SO deep into the mechanism
More often I follow intuitively and rely on practical experience. Maybe Toshiba's representatives will really answer you in more detail ...
The main thing is to understand the differences between the programs and use them "wisely". IMHO

In the preparation of soups, I first use Baking until it boils, and then Porridge or Mix. rice (depending on what kind of soup). On Mix. rice boils more than porridge. Both programs then automatically switch to heating. I would transfer the solyanka to Kasha, because there are products that do not require long heat treatment, and it is better for them to sweat. A kharcho or pea soup in Smesh. translate rice and leave to the end on this program.
And borscht Zav-na in general on the Heating brings it up, read on page 3 of our topic

For pollock lovers: fish - 1 kg, 2 carrots, 1 onion, 2 eggs, flour, salt, pepper. Cartoon for baking to warm up. Fish peeled from the skin, cut into pieces with salt and pepper. The cartoon warmed up butter and 1 grated carrot there. Then in a frying pan - dip the chopping in an egg, then in flour and fry until golden brown. Then we put the pieces in the cartoon, I got them 9 pieces. In the same pan, I fried the remaining carrots and onions for a short time, literally 5 minutes. The resulting vegetable mixture was covered with pollock on top. I switched to porridge. Om-Nom-nom. BUT!!! did not add milk.

How are the first impressions of the device ?! I also think about this.

And there was also the idea of going to try on steamers from other companies and order the one that fits.
Don't you think it's better to buy the cheapest two-tier steamer for 1000 rubles than this device? Why is it better than our "stool"? only beauty! Manty is not profitable either there or there, 3 pieces or what? It is quite comfortable to cook vegetables for a vinaigrette on a "stool" - it will fit more than if there was a hanging basket, but exactly the same amount, no more, will fit into your silicone device. Simultaneously boil the side dish and, say, cutlets, it is better on a hinged basket. So what's great about your silicone steamer with Toshiba? Maybe I don't understand what?

I have a double boiler, even two. But I'm not friends with them. Too much fuss.

And this steamer, if it stays close to the lid, is very convenient. And she has a little handle in contrast to the "stool".

Vegetables, for example, for salad-vinigrette are conveniently cooked already cut, sprinkling them in layers, and they will all be poured off the stool ...

The hanging basket is certainly even better, but so far Toshiba does not seem to be planning to add one to the accessories.

I just brought it, I haven't tried it yet, but BEAUTIFUL

If you put a stool, pour some water and this little thing on it, then in general it is ideally placed inside the bowl
And the lid closes, though end-to-end, but the steam outlet holes are open 2 out of 3.
Well, of course you need to try it, then everything will become clear

I also have a steamer, but the kitchen is not RUBBER (although it is more than 20 squares). The cartoon took its place of honor and replaces many other devices that were previously used {and pots, and pans, and the same steamer}.
Yes, of course, you can't cook a bowl of mantas in it, but do we really eat them so often? Then you can buy a mantle cooker
And it is quite possible to cook vegetable-salad-vinaigrette (I quote Zav-na) in more convenient conditions. Both fish and cutlets
When I cooked vegetables for the last time, I barely pulled them out afterwards, they were hot and tried to roll down everything, and then by the handle - once and done
And it's easier to wash it - I put it in the dishwasher - and that's it
IMHO
By the way, I read somewhere on the forum that it is possible to lay out silicic at the bottom of the multi. a mat for casseroles, so you can use this steamer to boil eggs
One must experience

Although the vegetables are naturally thoroughly brushed before cooking, I think that the raid will be
Only due to the fact that the bowl is initially dark in color, it is invisible (I personally did not observe)
And the coverage is excellent
Here I think there is only one advice: wash the bowl thoroughly after boiling, although probably everyone does this after each preparation {I use a dishwasher}

when the button on the touch programs ("mixed rice", "porridge", "quick cooking") flashes, the countdown should start on the screen (from 10 minutes). And when the program finishes working and beeps 5 times, the heating will turn on (0h).

Steamed Cabbage recipe. Turned on the "baking" mode 60 min. She poured vegetable oil, put onions. While it was fried (10 minutes), I peeled the carrots and grated them. Then I threw it in the cartoon, followed by the seasoning for vegetables, bay leaf, 2 tsp. tomato paste. While all this was stewing, she chopped the cabbage into thin strips and sent it to the MV, salted a little, poured water (somewhere mst-n), greens. It turned out very tasty !!! Apparently there was not enough water, so the quenching turned into frying. So the cabbage is also small with fried!

And for baking with an open lid, such as fry or with a closed one?
If the question is still relevant, I will answer - I use baked goods for frying vegetables or meat with the lid open, sometimes I close it, then I open it again to put food. It is very convenient - while you are cutting everything, there is already roasting, the ingredients are ready, so we close the lid and set it to the desired mode. If you need frying to a crust, then close the lid and leave it on the baking for a while.

I made a cottage cheese casserole and decided to try to put it on the porridge mode, what can I say, I didn't like it, I went to the kindergarten for the child and hoped that everything would be ready for our arrival, but no, the mode was over, the cartoon switched to heating, but the casserole looked bad and not baked, I had to put on baked goods and wait a long time for the result. In general, only stew on porridge, you should not bake.

Fish soup

Fish, specifically, I cooked on the stove (which is a rarity for me now) a rich broth from the head and tail of salmon, a skeleton with pike perch meat, and at the very end I added halibut fillet. After the bone was separated. It turned out 400-500 grams of fish.
Baking mode 60 min.
2 onions and 1 clove of garlic, chopped and fried in a mullet on an olive. oil
2 small tomatoes and a little. tomato paste
3 stalks of celery
Put out
Peeled royal shrimps - 500 gr. add and pour hot fish broth - I like it to be thick. Laurel. leaf, curry, spices for fish dishes, pepper, salt.
When it boils, add the fish and zest and the juice of half an ORANGE.
Here my Baking mode ended, but the eaters had not come yet, so I transferred it to Podogrev, and stayed there for about an hour.
This soup in the photo is similar to shrimp with peas (since there are many similar ingredients), but the taste is completely different, more refined

So, we fall asleep in Toshiba 0.5 ms semolina, 2 tsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp. salt, add cold water in half with milk to the 0.5 Congee mark, stir just in case, close the lid, turn on the Congee mode and go for a walk. and most importantly, I have long noticed that the porridge mode does not cook for an hour, and this is a mystery to me

This morning I put rice milk without a timer {diluted the milk with HOT water from a thermopot}. After 25 min. steam went, and after another 25 minutes (approximately) the countdown began.
The rice was harsh, but it was okay, as has been written here many times. An hour later everything was OK on Heating, that is, the time was from 1 mstak. about 1 hour.
Oatmeal is cooked for a little over an hour. This is from 1 mstak.
And corn on water (0.5 mstak) - also more than an hour.
It can be assumed that before the liquid boils off, but using the example of Fig. porridge is an inconsistency, since the undercooked cereal "floated"
In short, everything is automatic, it's better not to bother

And yesterday, finally, a nightmare was cooking porridge from oatmeal with bran - my grandmother from multi respects and I regularly supply her - so okay, I was nearby in the kitchen, porridge climbed out of the valve with cosmic speed

Today I decided to experiment with Toshiba RC-10. I cooked rice in different programs. Round grain Krasnodar rice was selected. Before cooking, a portion of the rice was washed in several waters to clean water, the rice was not soaked. The dose of rice is 1 mst. Rice was put into a multicooker, water was poured up to mark 1 (for white and mixed rice, the marks practically coincide. Besides water and rice, I did not report anything else, in general, in the best Asian traditions. The results are as follows:
1) White Rice Program. The rice is relatively sticky and moist. Closest to porridge, but not porridge! Probably just for sushi. But, and as a side dish, not poison. You can easily "feast on" such rice in a public catering or at the cook, who has calculated a little something.
2) Mixed rice program. The driest rice in my opinion. Rice to rice, crumbly (well, as much as possible for round grain rice).

He also cooked millet millet porridge. 0.5 mst millet washed in boiling water, 1 tsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp. salt, a mixture of water and milk (approximately 2: 1) up to the 0.5 Congee mark. Before laying the products, I greased the walls with butter. Set it overnight with a timer to be ready by 7 am. I added a piece of butter to the finished porridge. Everything turned out delicious, nothing burnt, nothing escaped. Well, maybe I would like a little thicker, next time I will try to add less liquid ... Or more
Just like millet, I also boil oatmeal (instant flakes)
Rice milk as follows: 1mstak. rice, up to 3 on a scale Mix. rice milk with water, 1 tbsp. l. sah., incomplete h. l. salt and porridge mode.

Hello everyone. I have never liked porridge. well, maybe only in childhood. and I don't even know how to cook them. and now I am 9 months pregnant and I understand that I already have to study)) then feed my son. and the most useful to eat porridge. I bought herculean. tell us how to cook it in our mulk. ) can you add berries there ?? or something else?? and what other cereals are useful ?? I'm more of buckwheat as a side dish. rice is very high in calories, probably. help the inept))))))
All cereals, except for semolina, I cook in proportions of 1: 6 (1 part of cereal, 6 parts of milk), I also cook rolled oats, only it should be oat flakes, and not instant ones, otherwise it will probably be completely porridge-porridge.
I cook buckwheat for porridge and a side dish in a ratio of 1: 1.5 (1 part of cereal, 1.5 parts of water), only I put porridge on porridge, on a side dish on mixed varieties of rice. I like buckwheat a little harder, I tried 1: 2 - very soft for me. Add fruits and berries to health

Corn porridge on the water
Interestingly, you have to try corn on mixed rice, otherwise it is tough on porridge.

Why on the water? Is it possible with milk?
I do not know, I have not tried it

I don't eat milk porridge, very rarely. Son too. Apparently from childhood, he had not very good memories. good, because he didn't want to eat anything at all. Each spoon is "fighting or dancing". The guard is shorter
Therefore, when I read "... Kasya Kasya ...", I am tenderly moved

I myself, unlike my men, love to cook more than to eat
And my diet is peculiar - meat, potatoes, pasta, sweets, pastries are not MY food
Therefore, I cook on 2 fronts
