I don’t understand why to inflate about the crack, well, this decorative panel, which does not bear and does not overestimate except for beauty at all for nothing! This is not an Orson with a carrier lid, that's where the problem is. I have a panel alive and well, (brown) this is for statistics.

sazalexter, they just say that the crack is from 120 degrees, but it didn't appear for me, but I did everything at 120
sazalexter
Tanyulya IMHO, this is not from the temperature but from the party. The plastic is right there, "ABS", Heat resistance up to 113 ° C and there, at the exit in this place, it obviously does not heat up so much, all hands cannot be measured.
zvezda
I cooked a lot at 120 * and then began to rub the hot one with cold water ... but for me this crack is really not important ... it's just decorative ... it was covered with transparent silicone and that's it !!! ! here I totally agree with sazalexter!!!!!!
And you had recipes for making porridge for 120 *

So I say that it is not from the temperature, you cook everything at 110-120

Let's not sculpt it in a heap, in this topic. Now lovers of Orsonchiks will catch up and begin to arrange a bazaar on the subject of who loves what more

She cooked porridge on Kasha, and there the machine, oh, and that porridge runs, and cooked milk according to Alexander's recipes at 95 degrees. And rice and buckwheat on the water, and only 120, well, I like it that way.

I also think so, from the party - I generally cooked only at 110 * C and never changed this temperature to another, but there is a crack, and even in several places

So this topic is called "Multicooker CUCKOO 1054. Problems of steam release." and the users of this model opened it themselves https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=164206.0 The rules of this section are not violated

And we will talk about the problems of other models of multi-cooker pressure cookers in other specialized topics and about which I constantly remind https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=164206.0

Yeah! it's good that I got into this Temko. Thank you, dear forum users for your help. I couldn't decide which multicooker to buy, I really liked the CUCKOO 1054.Despite even the fact that we have them in Odessa, and in all of Ukraine there are none at all, I already found how to order it from Moscow, even though it costs more than $ 700, I still wanted to buy it. I believe that if the equipment is worthwhile, then it is not a pity to pay for it, I was convinced of this more than once. But after reading this topic, it surprises me how the girls, having paid a lot of money, say that "a crack in the lid is not scary", "a poor-quality pan coating - so for everyone." It sounds so strange. You seem to be persuading yourself. I do not want to offend anyone in any way. Itself very much caught fire with such a slow cooker. And once again I am grateful to all members of the forum for their feedback and help.

Girls! Which valve is responsible for the pressure build-up? External or internal?
My Cuckoo has stopped releasing steam ... the steam cleaning does not take a while, that is, the steam goes on and on, the water boils away .. But there is pressure there, it does not open the lid. I cleaned the valve inside yesterday, the result is zero ..

It was so with me. I don't know which valve is responsible for the pressure, but I had to take the cuckoo to the service. We tried to disassemble the cover ourselves and even almost succeeded, but some screw did not want to unscrew. Disassembled by her husband. But he said that he would not do this anymore. So you have a direct path to service
Vei
Aunt Basya, Kirch, and after how long did you have these problems with the valve? and how much does the valve cleaning service cost?
Pilgrim73
Cleaning the valve in the service in Moscow cost 1000 rubles a year ago.

It happened to me after 7 months. Cleaned for 600 rubles.
Vei
And what, this valve clogs up even when observing the recommended temperature regime? That is, you did not cook borscht and jellied meat at 120 degrees, did regular steam cleaning, but the valve still fails ???
Admin

Unfortunately, I haven't contacted the service yet, I can't say how much it costs. Worth washed and polished, do not use
Zvezda askony
Even if we take into account the number of cuckoo users - which is on this forum - then the number of problems with the valve is minimal

Maybe minimal, but unpleasant. Besides, my decorative panel is cracked. I did not cook at 120 and did not use it very often when this story happened
Vei
Well, of course, it's already been bought anyway, so let's hope for the best. In the end, we live in the capital, and not somewhere far away, and we will get to the service. Although, of course, I would not like

Liza!!! Cleaning costs 700 rubles. Why doesn't anyone write that they don't properly care for the multicooker? After each cooking of soup on the stove, we are not lazy to wash the lid, but the cleaning button is too lazy to press (n) With proper care, there will be no problems !!!
Scarecrow
Mine is 3 years old. I rarely clean (steam cleaning). While the flight is normal.
Vei
Olya, thanks, reassured ...
We just bought 1054 as a gift to my mother-in-law, while I still have it, I don’t use it, so that no cracks or other problems appear before the donation! And of course, I'm worried to please her, not bring trouble on my head.
Scarecrow
I’m ashamed to admit it, but I keep forgetting to empty the drip tray and I don’t polish the lid after every dish. But you need to take into account that I do not bake anything in it, I do not fry. I have everything practically stewed / boiled.

Crack and I have on the cover near the valve. In two places, they look like a stuck hair. And for a very long time. I do not pay attention."Does not affect the power" (c).
Zvezda askony
I regularly make biscuits in mine, I constantly use the oven and toasting programs
Toasting mostly with the lid open
Oven with closed

And let INCOGNITO send a commission from the sanitary and epidemiological supervision to all our cuckoo users - let them check the sanitary condition of the pressure cooker, lid, valve and other things in the cooko pressure cookers, and at the same time install video cameras throughout the apartment (in case we cook from the kitchen let's go to another room).
And then on the forum we will post the list in a section: the cleanest, medium-clean, DIRTY - and then all questions will go to the subject of who and how uses the pressure cooker and why cracks form on the covers and the valve clogs up.

It seems to me very logical! And then we keep talking, talking about the dirty thing, and they are bastards again about their own, about a clogged valve - and so we will bring them clean by the Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection Commission so that they do not complain in vain on the forum!

Who is FOR, vote! We will compile lists of who will be checked first!

I wanted not to write, but the phrase "minimal" is unpleasant to me, for a lot of money these cracks should not be either maximally or minimally.

Now, in fact, because of what I am writing, they changed the cover for me - free of charge - thanks to the Rostov representative. girls I'm writing for you - he explained if the bolts are rearranged and the lid is tightened outside the valve area, a crack does not appear. They were rearranged to me on the "sides" if I may say so while there are no problems. but the truth is, I began to use it less often - I struggle.

so whoever will disassemble and change the lid immediately ask them to rearrange the screws.

My husband immediately loosened these bolts, I don't have a crack, but almost everyone has a crack there and not one
but now I don't use almost 1054 very rarely

Tanya, they need to be rearranged, be sure, the representative tried to explain something to me about the problem in the design (they were explained at the courses in Moscow, probably it was not for everyone they just blabbed it to me), but I just said "I don't mind rearrange it" ...

Yes, it's not entirely clear where and what to rearrange.

The upper decorative panel needs to be loosened, but there is a lot to be friends with a screwdriver
My husband did this when he completely cleaned the cuckoo, somehow liquid or a drop of fat got on the board, so he completely disassembled everything, she did not even speak and the display did not turn on, we took her to her parents, so after transportation
so I completely filmed everything, I would not be able to do this myself

Multicooker CUCKOO 1054 - steam problems
Multicooker CUCKOO 1054 - steam problems
I'm not an asshole. all my pressure cookers are clean, I wash all of them with a steam generator once a month or a little more often.

2 days ago, I also had a valve stuck in Cuckoo 1054 (she will be 3 years old in June), I am not preparing anything criminal, but 2 days before that, I cooked lamb ribs on the Stew program and when the steam was released, the liquid got into the valve. I did steam cleaning several times, everything was fine, the next day I steamed the turbo, everything went well too, but in the morning, when boiling oatmeal in water at a temperature of less than 100 degrees, and the water was up to level 4, I had an unusual sound, and part of the already cooked porridge also got into the valve, in short, it stuck. Well, my husband and I decided to disassemble the lid in the evening, but here is a photo of what's inside (page 11), and on page 9 of the Star's recommendation (many thanks to her and Lui for the photo!). verbal, because I personally do not see the photo there. I already cleaned the lid in Multikuk (after 2 years of use), then we tried to disassemble the lid, but could not, and now we decided to try it ourselves. We made it! The main thing here is to understand how to disassemble the lid, and then navigate by the photo. And on the lid inside there are 2 bolts that you need to unscrew, well, remove the valve and the handle at the top. And the lid itself is connected top to bottom with latches on the sides, where we inserted a narrow screwdriver at the junction of the plastic top with the metal bottom, carefully bent the plastic, and then it was already clear where these latches were, and disconnected the top from the bottom. Well, then follow the photo from page 11 and the text from page 9. In principle, anyone who has the opportunity to take them to the service should go and even see how it is done. It's just that when we drove, the master was not there, so we did not see the process. And whoever does not have such an opportunity, you can try it yourself, it is not difficult. The plastic is good here, when we separated the top from the bottom, it bent, but it held up perfectly. Yes, this multicooker has such a weakness as a sticking valve, but this shortcoming is corrected much quickly, not even in the service, and if in the service, then during the day, and not 45 days, as in the case of other multicooker.
Aunt Besya
I just can't figure out what exactly happened to my cuckoo! She stopped gaining pressure, that is, there is pressure inside, but the valve does not work, does not lock the cuckoo and, accordingly, the multicooker does not count down. I took it apart twice, read everything to a virgin state, washed all the rubber bands, the internal valve in my hands moves freely. The elastic band on the lid is right, steam does not come from under the lid, it goes and goes out of the valve .. and does not stop! Who had this? Did the service help? My question is whether to throw it out or not

My problem appeared after the warranty period (the cuckoo will be 3 years old in the summer, and the warranty, as I remember, is 1 year), by the way, I have a crack! And I never cooked at 120 degrees ..
annnita
You have a stuck valve inside the lid, which is magnetic. It needs to be cleaned by disassembling the cover. I had the same thing this week, steam was coming out of the valve all the time while the Cuckoo was running. Everything works well after cleaning. My slow cooker will also be 3 years old in the summer. The first time I cleaned it in the service 9 months ago, this time we dealt with my husband ourselves.
Aunt Besya
Anita,You did not read my post carefully, I cleaned the valve, it is in its virgin sparkling state! Actually, I did not find much dirt in it, the piston went freely. So the reason is something else ..
annnita
Well then, all that remains is to contact Multicook for help, only they can know what may be there. Or some mistake was made when assembling the cover.

It is difficult to make a mistake when assembling the cover .. in the same place (if you disassembled it) otherwise you cannot assemble it ..

The price of 1000 rubles was personally voiced by a Korean in the SC in the Moskovsky store, when I bought two spare bowls from them in May.

And yet you were right !! I'll wash my hat !! I cleaned it, cleaned it, but not cleaned it. I just couldn't even think, twisting it in my hands, that it was also necessary to loosen it with pliers. But today, with the help of tips from the head of the company (for which many thanks to him, I found time in Skype for me) I disassembled it again, cleaned it and it seemed to work! I haven't cooked anything yet, but cleaning with steam and a multi-cook with just water worked correctly in the test mode!
During these days I have sorted it out so much that now, with my eyes closed, I can probably assemble and disassemble!
Thanks to everyone who did not remain indifferent!
annnita
I'm very glad for you! And if suddenly sometime after cleaning I have the same problem, I will know who to contact with the question of what needs to be loosened there, because we just washed everything well, screwed on and assembled the lid. For me, you are now an expert in this matter !!!
Aunt Besya
Here in this post, Louis, on the 7th photo above everything is said, but for some reason I didn't see it myself. Rather, I saw, but misunderstood. I cleaned it, pulled it down and up, the spring compressed and unclenched, and I thought that was all. But it turned out that this upper pimp should move and rotate ...
