Of course, I washed millet and rice. Very carefully! Millet generally foams very strongly. So that the porridge does not try to "beat", the cereal must be washed!
It is advised to pour over with boiling water. To be honest, I didn't notice the difference. Manna! I continue my experiments, but I have not yet had such a result as yours. We must try without millet.
Arnica
Pour boiling water over so that it does not taste bitter.

Rick
Zhenya, from the first time everything worked out OK for me .... the milk behaved amazingly, the milk was "Merry Milkman" - not a cm higher than the porridge did not rise

Girls, why pour boiling water over rice? it's not bitter, it's not millet

How much cereal did you cook? I cook 0.5 mst. cereals. Sometimes it runs away, or just rises, you can see it on the walls of the bowl. 1 mst and I do not run away, but I eat porridge alone, so I want to cook a small portion without running away.
Rick
Today I cooked porridge from 0.5 mst of rice and 2.5 mst of milk. It rose a little, about 1-2 cm. Apparently, the matter is in millet, because of it, my porridge constantly tried to escape (sometimes successful) I washed the rice, but did not pour boiling water over it. True, for my taste it turned out to be liquid. Next time I will make pure rice porridge in a ratio of 1: 4.
Luysia
Rick, leave it hot, it will get thicker. I leave for 50 minutes. Then such delicious porridge!
Rick
Yes I know. But today there was no time to wait for it to thicken. I like it better when the porridge is ready without heating. Over time, I get stressed, sometimes I need to quickly cook, eat and go, for example, take a walk with a child.
SvetaGdeTo
And I made a real biscuit! Such joy. I'm with a dough for you, but the biscuit ... for some reason always sagged and stank of an egg. I tried 2 times and that's it .... I have such a stove, unimportant means. And then - a cartoon hammer!
I also want to ask, so to speak, on the topic of the day - who baked the cake?

Zhenya, well, for a start you can and should come to YOU
Well, at the expense of the portion, then I had 1 MCT, next time I'll try to indulge with 0.5 MCT - I will unsubscribe about the result
Rick
So I have been dabbling for about a month. But since I adore culinary experiments, I love porridge and am in love with a cartoon, I like such pampering (Even when he runs away)

Isn't it worth the risk with your favorite recipe (what I bake in the oven)?
Rick
As far as I understand, in MV you can cook according to our usual recipes, the main thing is to choose the right program.

In my opinion, no.

Girls, poke your nose, please ... here somehow they wrote about the "miracle dumplings" in our slow cooker ...I wanted to do it, but I don't remember where I saw it (in this thread, but flipping through everything is not an option) and I did not find it in the recipes. They are moderately fried and with butter ... Something like this. The husband of one girl seems to have come up with it. I would be very grateful.
Manna
During testing, I cooked / fried dumplings. It was the first and last time. It was just then that it was the only time my husband wanted dumplings.

All the liquid has evaporated, the dumplings are slightly fried. Nothing stuck to the bowl or burnt, possibly due to the presence of oil.

Wow! My husband is ready to eat dumplings ALWAYS! When I ask what to cook for lunch, the answer is dumplings.

Happy May Day everyone !!!!!
Here the other day I decided to cook the liver, but somehow I did not find a recipe among the available ones (or maybe I was looking badly). But as they say: the Internet to help us - shoveled and got something of its own. The whole family liked the result !!!! https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=227286.new#new

Thanks for the recipe. I was just thinking how to cook liver in MV. I will do that.

And you can read more about potatoes. How much, where, on what? It looks appetizing.

Yes Easy....
I cut the potatoes into small slices, poured butter into the mule (about a couple of tablespoons of tablespoons) and on the Frying fish mode. The time was set by default (I did not correct it - I turned it off after about 15 minutes, well, a maximum of 20 - I was guided by the readiness of the potato). Salted and added seasonings. Periodically interfered. When the potatoes were almost ready (by the test method), I added zucchini cut into cubes, interfered literally a couple of times, turned off the mode and on the table
In short, I did everything by sight, and the result pleased both with its appearance and taste !!!

And most importantly, I realized that I shouldn't be afraid to experiment
Rick
I just remembered when I was studying at the institute, in the hostel we fried potatoes with carrots, with zucchini, in general, with any vegetables that we brought from home. Thank you for reminding! I will definitely do so. That seems to be nothing new, but I already want to do so. Moreover, in the cartoon, the potatoes are fried very quickly. Did you close the lid?

Wesna, here here and here take a look. Follow the second link with proportions.
I had a bad experience with dumplings, but it was my own fault, I added a lot of water. And then I did it according to the proportions and everything turned out great, it was fried))) only after the end of the program, let them stand for a couple of minutes on heating, so that the dumplings would easily move away from the bowl

nope ... always keep the lid open when frying
Rick
I fried potatoes in MV, closed the lid. It was tasty, but usually I fry in a frying pan with the lid open, and I still like it better. Now I will try to fry with an open one in the MV.

Good evening everyone! I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the pioneering girls in the development of the Brand multicooker. It is thanks to you that I chose her. I use it for 3 months - not a single disappointment. I read the whole Temka from the very beginning, now I don't even have any questions. Thank you very much !!!

Aurina , I congratulate you on your good helper! and with a good choice!
let it please you further!
thanks to the recipes verified by girls, it is much easier for beginner multicooker and multivar to master cooking and baking in our mullet!
soon you yourself will already share your interesting recipes for our mule!
both me and my son are also very pleased with our very first mulychka!
Rick
Aurina! I completely agree with you. I also mastered the cartoon using this theme, and her little sister is already standing next to her.
Aurina
Thank you! She only makes me happy. And the desire to cook all sorts of sweets has increased. Look at the photos of your dishes - and in front! And in general the site is wonderful! Glad I found it! And you.

Girls (those with both multicooker and pressure cooker), are there those who prefer baking biscuits in a pressure cooker rather than a multicooker? I don't like the multi-cooker bisweets because the top is spoiled by condensation, and in pressure cookers everything is dry and even.

I would see where it is more convenient to deliver for you in several stores, and then write which stores you have chosen, and the girls will tell you where to order.

I like the biscuits from the pressure cooker better. And not even because the condensate (I don't have it), but in quality and taste. I bake in Rice. It’s not quite that dry on Bakery.

Yes, yes, I bake under pressure (6050 for Kasha, 6060 for Soup / Stew).

Quote: Elena Bo

And not even that condensation (I don't have it)
I have condensation periodically, then the middle turns out with a notch

Why did I ask this question ... DirliMirli, if you need a device specifically for biscuits, then ... maybe a pressure cooker is better than a multicooker? It is baked a little faster under pressure, it turns out smooth, tender, not dry, without condensation.

we like biscuits exclusively from the pressure cooker, they are tastier there, drier, looser (well, I don’t know how to write it), airier, there is no condensation (the top is dry), I don’t burn even without parchment (I baked with it in a cartoon), ... well, just better result

And what, there is no difference between biscuits from a multicooker and a pressure cooker (under pressure, in the sense)?

I didn't praise anyone, it turns out I say everywhere. and everywhere I say I like it
Manna
That ndravitsa, I understood. Is there a difference or not? I'm talking about biscuit / cake on Baking in a multicooker / pressure cooker without pressure and Porridge, Rice, etc. in a pressure cooker under pressure.
Elena Bo
Cupcakes are the same everywhere, in my opinion. But there are no biscuits.
Manna
Lenochka, this is me ... I wanted to say that I do not mean pies, casseroles, pastries with a filling, etc. But it is biscuits ... Well, at the same time I attributed muffins Although ... I noticed a difference in muffins, But in biscuits, I agree, the difference is more noticeable

I got the most chic chocolate on boiling water in a pressure cooker and I remember last year of eight cakes, the most airy and successful one also came out at 6050. And the pressure cooker tried so hard or the dough just came out so good for her ...

And I bake a biscuit in a pressure cooker on porridge.
In my cartoon, the roof of the biscuit does not deteriorate with condensation, the biscuit is not bad, but after the pressure cooker, in the cartoon the biscuit is in second place.
