Note

It turns out an airy pie - very tender and tasty. For my crunchy lovers, I browned the pie in the oven at 180C for 10 minutes.

Probably very delicate in taste, I will remember the recipe-apples, then last year's tyutyu, but I will not have new ones for a couple of months, I will tolerate.
MariS
Yes, Vichka, in fact, it has a delicate taste. And if even with jam or custard -!

Marish, a very interesting option for charlotte! Early apples are coming soon, I'll try to bake them. Until then, bookmark!
Elenka
The early apples have already gone and are sour as they should.
I like baking in a double boiler, I do it sometimes.
If I put a double boiler on the table, then I will definitely make a sweet in the end in it.

MariS, thanks for the recipe. I will definitely try!

And I have a question: don't you add baking powder?

It's great that you are also a steamer food lover!
I hope you will like it. : girl_love: My strictest connoisseur is my mother, rated at 5.
There was no baking powder in the recipe and without it everything works out great.

Complete nonsense !!!! After 45 minutes, the dough was left ((((((

Let's figure out what is wrong with you? Are the ingredients strictly according to the recipe, foil inside the bowl and on top? Cool and cut? If possible - a photo, then we will discuss. Of course the view from the steamer is not the same as from the oven. For this, I indicated ... "bake crust lovers for 10 minutes in the oven."

Yelena69 Dear forum users! This recipe is suitable for those who are not allowed to eat fried and baked goods. I tried this recipe: I'll tell you straight - for the lover of boiled dough (such as dumplings, dumplings) .. Apples, of course, are tender, and boiled dough, pale .. There is little interesting, for an amateur. If you want to try, take a small portion for a start .. But I'd rather make dumplings with an apple .. I apologize for the "fly in the ointment" in the laudatory chorus ..

Thanks for your feedback. Here, I dare say, everything is for everyone and everyone finds their own ... Dishes from a double boiler are given to be on guard of our health - dietary!
And this dough does not at all look like dumplings dough, because it is much softer and more like a soufflé.

I did everything strictly according to the recipe! Foil laid out the entire form and covered it with a separate piece on top. There was nothing to cut, because after 45 minutes there was a batter in the mold

I am very sorry that you made such a dough. A recipe from a good book Bork home "Gourmet Steamer" and I prepared it - the dough turned out to be similar to a soufflé or casserole. Apparently, flour with a high moisture content or very juicy apples. I had the "Semerenko" variety.

to be honest, I don't really like food from a double boiler, but the pastries in it are super, I did it only a few times, but everything always worked out. the truth, I always poured water already boiling. Today is chocolate pudding, I treated a friend to him - he was in shock, there was absolutely no boiled taste, as they say above. I pour the dough into a tin with foil and cover with foil. I cook for an hour.

Thank you, Tanya, for your feedback!
I am glad that everything works out for you !!! I also love puddings and steamer pastries - besides the benefits, it's also delicious!
Thank you for sharing your secrets!
