dear owners of Boshiks. We want to make a present for the mother-in-law and her family. She has been thinking about a kneader for a long time. So the plan has matured to give a dough mixer with a cube cutter which MUM 54251
How good is this choice? What test does it handle and how well?
Lisichkalal
In general, I am satisfied, but there is nothing to compare with. I will not say that it is ideal exactly as a kneader. Sometimes it leaves unmixed flour at the bottom. Little. And sometimes the dough for pancakes is lumpy, but, perhaps, hands-hooks or some secrets I don't know.
And it is worth taking it if you use other attachments.
I use a meat grinder, cutting, and a dough mixer, of course. I also use it as a mixer for salads, mashed potatoes.

thanks for the answer.
I was attracted by the fact that there is a cube cutter. We basically celebrate all the holidays with our mother-in-law and she plows a bunch of salads, so I thought this would be an additional help to her. Well, she herself was thinking about a kneader. so I think. she has a separate meat grinder, she is happy with it. in general, I would find the same one but a little cheaper and without a meat grinder
Lisichkalal
I was also looking for no citrus juicer. I did not find it), I do not use a juicer.
There are people who recognize cubes only cut by hand and of a certain size. And do not recognize cutting machines. If the mother-in-law is not one of those, then the cube cutter will appreciate) although sometimes small pieces come across, not cubes. Personally, this does not bother me.
The meat grinder is good for a small amount of meat, preferably fillet) I also have a separate powerful Moulinex. I use both, it depends on the quantity.
My blender bowl fell and a crack appeared. And I don’t like the quality of the plastic bowl, it’s thin.
In addition to the main metal bowl of the kneader, I also bought plastic ones (by mistake 2 pieces), it is convenient)
Well, the cube cutter takes up a lot of storage space.
And the Bosch itself is small and neat.
Jenealis
Lisichkalal, why don't you make a dough for pancakes in a glass blender ?? Vzhzhzhik and that's it, that's the only way I bake them. I make dough and custard and simple. There, on the lid, the hole is taken out, while I beat the butter, I sprinkle it, flour, very convenient!

Jenealis, Kinglet, girls, thanks for the idea of making dough for pancakes and pancakes in a blender, so something did not even occur to me!
Lisichkalal
So it didn't come to me))))
And how to do it in more detail? Put everything in and drive in at once, or gradually? When to lay eggs?
Just a few times I got a very foamy dough, because I started to drive in the eggs first.
Kinglet
I put everything in and beat it all at once, but I make a small portion - half a liter of milk :)))
Lisichkalal
Thanks, I will definitely try.

Girls, so this is our pancake FS! I make pancakes per liter of liquid, put everything at once in a swing and zip. If it's watery, I add it and zip again. And custard in stages I pour / pour everything into the hole. And then when the pancakes were baked in the same place, the fairies dripped, splashed water, again vzhiiik and the glass is clean

I am again to you for advice.
and if you buy a Bosch MUM52120, will the MUZ5CC2 fit it (by a piece; to I understood this is a cube cutter)? just for the price it comes out almost the same as the MUM54251, but the meat grinder is already there and it seems to me that citruspress is not so necessary.
Zima
Of course, the MUZ5CC2 (cube cutter with 2 interchangeable grids) is suitable for the entire 5 series (articles starting with "MUM5 ...)

I also wanted to ask how good and for what amount of flour can yeast dough be kneaded in it? And then I watched a video review here, it seems that the naspdochki there will break under light load.

Hello! If there are other MUM4 owners in this thread ..., can you please tell me if you can get a protein cream (for meringues) in a combine? Please tell us the algorithm ... No matter how much I tried, it was liquid all the time in the end. In principle, if the owners of other combines will help, I will be glad. Thank you!
Lauretta
Zoya GrishinaHello, Happy New Year! made the mayonnaise according to your recipe it turned out to be very liquid .. What's wrong? Made in a blender, which is placed on Boshik, beat at 4 speeds and poured a glass of sunflower oil in a thin stream. Maybe there are some subtleties. Save !!!!

Good day!
I have MUM4xxx, everything turns out great, I make dough for biscuit, custard protein, protein, marshmallow in it, beat proteins for meringue.
The algorithm is simple - first I beat the cooled proteins, then add a little sugar (if required by the recipe), I do everything at maximum speed, with a whisk.
Milagros
Thank you very much for your reply!
If it's not difficult, please write at what minute do you add sugar? And how many minutes do you get? At least approximately ...
Happy New Year!
GriNata
Happy new year!))
I don't really notice the time, I look at the state of the proteins or eggs - they turn white and increase in volume by 2-3 times, then add a little sugar or powder. just 15-20 minutes in time, probably buzzing all over the house))))) I pour flour with a spatula
Milagros
Thank you very much! I will try!

Dear Mumovody and Mumologists, tell me, does anyone have the following attachments MUZ45XCG1 or MUZ45XTM1 on the farm - it was recently discovered that they are also suitable for the older XL-series.

3 in 1 nozzle (MUZ45XCG1) - 2 knives (one for chopping hard foods, such as coffee beans, cereals, sugar, nuts, spices, candied fruits, cereals, etc.; the second knife for soft foods, such as vegetables, fruits, meat, herbs, etc.) etc.) and a glass container with a lid (in which you can grind and store).
5 in 1 nozzle (MUZ45XTM1) - Same as 3-in-1 plus glass with ToGo lid for use away from home. Includes 3 chopping and storage containers with sealed lids instead of one. That is, in fact, it is a chopper, coffee grinder and mini-blender in one glassbottle.

Does anyone use these attachments? Share your experience!

zombokatya, I have MUM 5 and bought myself a set of MUZ45XTM1 - to say that I am delighted is to say nothing !!!
I use attachments almost every day. I mainly make smoothies. I mix it in a large ToGo glass with a soft knife. I can only from fruit, I can only from some milk with muesli - what the hand reached, then it goes into action. I also make sauces, except for mayonnaise (it is not convenient to add oil). They are now standing in the refrigerator in one can of pesto, in another - meat (based on goose fat), and I myself am drinking a smoothie made from mango and orange))))

The solid food knife is not very useful. There is a coffee grinder that is always on the table. And I have few such products. If I make grain bread, I like all the nuts-seeds to be more or less whole. The only thing that I grind in it is the dried ginseng root.

Good morning, bakers))

My husband gave us MUM5 54920 and I tried to churn out butter, but something didn't work. Maybe this is due to the fact that there was not enough oil? He smeared it on the walls and that's it .... And how much oil is needed for it to knock it down well?

Thank you

Good afternoon, chefs! I have such a question: is it possible in some way (maybe not necessarily from Bosch) to adapt sausage attachments to MUM 5? Thank you in advance
Taia
Answer the owners of Bosch MUM52120.
In general, the topic has no reviews about him.
How do you like it?
sazalexter
TaiaAll MUM5s have approximately the same characteristics, the only difference is in the set of attachments, well, maybe in the number of speeds.
Taia
Alexander, thanks for the answer.
But somehow I did not understand from the reviews whether they are good, these MUMs5 ...
And still this question interests. When you ask a search in Russia, they write that this model is outdated and is not released.
And here it began to appear on the contrary. This moment is suspicious to me.
sazalexter
Taia, MuMy5 are already very good, here are the current versions 🔗product-catalog / kitchen-appliances / food-processors / kitchen-machines-mum-5.html they are unlikely to be discontinued.
Taia
Yeah, okay.
Thanks for your responsiveness!

Hello, please tell me if it makes sense to overpay for the MaxxiMUM = MUMXL20C combine. I cook often, I want a powerful, reliable unit - is there a significant difference in kneading dough and whipping between this and the usual MUM 54251? Thank you .
stalena
I had MUM 54251. Burnt out after 3 months of use. Was very disappointed with the quality. For example, a very fragile holder for grater discs, plastic and thin. When kneading the dough on cake!!!! the head of the combine was shaking.
I am already silent about the holes for attaching the nozzles - look into the top and side socket and you will see a void around the pins where the nozzles are attached. From a grater I have potato juice from potato pancakes directly through this hole poured into the engine, it shorted so that now the kitchen needs to change the wiring ... In the store, without a word, they returned the money for the combine, which surprised me very much - usually the seller tries to repair the goods until the last ... I won't advise anyone else. The most offensive thing is that there was a review on the reviews site that another customer's combine burned out like that, only her meat juice was poured through the meat grinder attachment. But we, reading the reviews, see what we want to see. I, of course, did not pay attention to this review. Thank God, they returned the money.
Now I have Kenwood.

Elna, do you confuse anything with MUM?
Quote: stalena
only her meat juice poured through the meat grinder mount.
So what? The liquid will not get into the engine in any way, maximum into the gear block. Maybe it's about another harvester?
stalena
I had a Bosch MUM 54251 food processor, the one with the cubes. And it was the engine that burned out.
I made potato pancakes, there is a grater - this is such a design, it is put on top in the assembled form. I assembled the structure, rubbed the potatoes, and when rubbed, potato juice always comes out from the potatoes. When I took off the grater after finishing work, I saw that the nest where the grater was put on was filled with potato juice. I rubbed it, like nothing. And after a couple of hours I turned it on - the plugs were knocked out at my house, the smoke went out of the combine. It didn't turn on anymore. The socket in the kitchen does not work either.
I don’t know about gears, I’m not a repairman.
The service said that the engine burned out. M-Video returned the money.
I have a photo of this nest - but I don't know how to insert it.
sazalexter
stalena, Elena, How to insert a photo into your message https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=73109.0 the harvester burned out due to marriage and not because of potato pancakes. Would have been flooded, the money was not returned.
stalena
The quality is not very good - I took pictures with my phone before giving it to the service, the food processor is already in the box. Even from a distance, you can see what a large hole around the seat.
Can't the manufacturer at least supply a silicone ring?
Whoever has such a combine - insulate this hole.

Food processor Bosch MUM 5 ...

This is not necessary until the engine there is like "before China"
stalena
It, of course, burned out not because of potato pancakes, but because of a design flaw. But, firstly, nothing has changed in the combines now, and secondly, I somehow don't really want to prove that it is not your fault, but the manufacturer's fault. There is a hole around the seat on top - and that's a fact. And it is also obvious that during the operation of the combine, something can be filled in there. I ran into this trouble and am very glad that I managed to collect my money. You know, it's not very happy to pay 20 thousand and cut Olivier for New Year's holidays with your hands. Recently in the store I examined a new MUM, the same holes. I consider it my duty to warn. Those who have such combines may be more careful.

I wonder if the MUMXL20C has this problem? It seems like a professional declared ... About Kenwood I read that at the end of the warranty they crumble, and the details are expensive ... Before that there was Hotpoint-Ariston, some small breaker - a switch, the service tried to change it for a little over a month, in the end they said no ... parts and returned the money .. Before that, the device worked perfectly and a stainless steel container with double walls - I have not seen this anywhere else ... I don’t know what to buy at all.

Will fall apart, so we will buy something new.

And we bought a Phillips and now I want to change it, because I feel uncomfortable, how its entire upper part twitches during the mixing of the dough. Is it wrong with Kenwood? Ariston generally stood almost without fluttering, but in my opinion they are no longer produced ... I wonder whether it is worth taking Boshik MaxxiMUM or I don’t know what at all)
stalena
I really liked the way the MUM whisk turns. Kenwood is losing, of course. Plus, I also have Kenwood Sense, which means that some of the attachments are put on through the adapter, which is inconvenient. But in Kenwood, everything is monumental - against the plastic in the Boshevskaya cube cutter, for example, you can hit with a Kenwood nozzle.
Rituslya
Artemich, about Boshik MaxxiMUM I will only write that we gave it for the new year. The gifted one is still delighted. He only denies my admonitions about Ken. Well, okay. It's the master's business.
Kenwood also has everything twitching if you start making the dough too steep.

Nozzles? ... I don't know. For me, the baits are pampering all the same. The main function is the kneader.

Kenwood is not. Well, maybe a little leads on a very cool test. But Mum (at least the 5th) has the head of the combine for the dough ...
And I didn't like it either. I wanted to hold him, or something would fall off.
