lovely80, and at what speed do you knead?
lovely80
Nip, I start mixing on the 1st, then I translate into the 2nd. I do not always use the 3rd, in my opinion, for the yeast 2nd is very well suited
Elena_Kamch
Owners of mum 4880, can you please tell me if it is possible to whip the proteins in it to hard peaks?
An urgent need to decide whether it is suitable for such tasks (+ kneading the dough) or is it better to stop at 5 episodes (funds are limited, so I choose)
Kadabra
I used to have MUM 4756 EU, I whipped proteins for meringues, constantly kneaded yeast dough and dumplings. I did not find any flaws, but I am not a pastry chef either, for my household needs it was more than enough for me. I changed it to the 5th series only because of the dough cutter and dough sheeter. If additional attachments are not needed, then Series 4, in my personal opinion, is no worse.

And whipped well? To solid peaks?
Me, too, for home needs, but I really want to be able to get a high-quality protein cream.
Kadabra
I can’t answer exactly, I didn’t make a protein cream. Maybe you should ask around for friends, maybe someone has such a combine to conduct a test drive.
Or watch videos on YouTube, surely someone is whipping up such a cream on a mumchik.
Anna1957
Kadabra, and can you link to the dough rolling machine? I even thought it was only for episode 8.
Kadabra
Anna, I have no right to insert links. I think the search will tell you where, what and how much.

Elena, I remembered that I somehow made a marshmallow and everything was perfectly whipped, but it seems to me that sugar syrup is more difficult to whip than protein cream.

Not that word, I have probably kept it in the bookmarks for a year now, but so far without changes, the toad does not start up says it is better to take a separate dough roller, at the same price, and a separate one will even be a little wider

And my daughters and I have already ordered today! Whole three weeks waited until the price again dropped to seven thousand.
But we haven't received it yet, of course, so I won't say anything about the peaks.

Elena_Kamch, Elena, I have a Boshik 4856, it seems they are similar to 4880. My whites beat perfectly, even if I cut them into pieces later, I make biscuit dough, muffin dough on it, I think I can handle the yeast dough, I just regret it, because I have there is also Bosch MUM XL.

Girls, tell me, please, what is the external size of MUM 4 series, what place does it take on the table? I think to buy and try on.
fffuntic
svetta, in sizes 4 one in one 5.They only have different powers, not sizes, and a different number of nozzles.
Landing on the table is a little more than A4 sheet and one and a half A4 sheets up.
Tomorrow I'll measure you exactly by centimeters, now I'm not at home. This is the smallest harvester.
If there is an opportunity to buy more power, it's still better. I knead everything at unsatisfactory speeds, but with marshmallow or protein cream, the load is still high.
If you take the 4-ku very initial, then there is 500 power - well, it is not comfortable, to be honest. Better than 600 and above, this is the 48th series in my opinion.
When I had 4 creams, I didn't really do it, but now 5, but at 900 W, this is enough for all my needs with comfort.
The miniature size of the combine is the least satisfying. Do not make a large amount of biscuit or cream.
But Sveta, if for creams, then you should go to the cream department and ask the girls there. Now I don't remember much, but in my opinion a 4-ka with a lower power for a cream is not the best solution.

optimist
Bijou, yeah, looked! Nice car! There is even a meat grinder!
I have all these adaptations separately. Once I dreamed of this in a silver color, and then the amount of equipment crawled like a snowball and the need for a combine disappeared.
Svetta
optimist, but I just want to get rid of a heap of equipment, replacing it with this combine. And then there are already so many stuck in the corners in the closets!
fffuntic
svetta,

together with the assembled bowl, it measures 32.5 x31 and 28 cm in height. Without a bowl 27x28 and a height of 28 cm. But if a blender and a vegetable cutter sit on top, then higher. Vegetable cutter + 20 cm in height somewhere. I don't have it to try on.
I'll send you pictures next to the 4.5-liter panaska cartoon. For comparison.

but first of all, how many cakes you bake, he will not knead at one time. Small bowl. Second, when I make biscuits, this unit works and the manual one also comes in handy.
I'm just not sure that one unit will replace your equipment. It does not replace me, but life makes it easier. The farm is the right thing. And now if you buy a watt for 700 harvester, then you can definitely say the purchase is good.
And if it is lower, then I do not know how good it is for creams. I really insist to clarify this issue before buying. To avoid disappointment later.
And here I have already written in the subject more than once that my life was not possible without an additional flexi-whisk to the combine.

and also .. a pretty, miniature typewriter. But her cup is like a multi. Only in multi it is all working along the top line, but here the working volume is well 2/3, probably.
That is, here and count up in which saucepan you usually knead the dough. The volume of this combine is too small for me for the holidays.
If the family is large, you need to take a larger one.

Svetta
fffuntic, the link will not open for me because of the mail. ru, they are blocking us.
Now I have a 400 W Zelmer rotary mixer, the creams are still fine with me, there is nothing to compare with. He whips whites very well, it has a high rotation speed of the beaters. I have a small bowl for creams in this mixer - cream comes out by volume approx. 2.2 l and the whisks are already completely hidden in the cream. It is because of the short beaters that I want to change the harvester. And the dough for Easter cakes requires a minimum of 5 liters for my recipe. But buying even a dough mixer for 3-4 days a year, when it is necessary to make such a volume of dough, is very expensive for me. So I'm thinking of replacing both the Zelmer meat grinder (aka vegetable shredder) and the mixer, there will be one device. And then I still have a meat grinder on the work surface all the time, the mixer and the bowl from it are in the closet.

I went and figured out the dimensions on my desk ..... I stopped wanting a combine. It will take up much more space than my meat grinder is now, and bowls and pribluda from it will still be scattered in the cabinets. Damn, I was already upset ...

Lenusya, yes, very good! In addition to a meat grinder, a blender and a vegetable cutter, I also have a citrus juicer and a cube cutter - I love it if I make Olivier or okroshka, everything is ready in 6 seconds! And I won't trade my Boshik for separate devices for which, it's so great that everything is thought out and functionally changes in seconds.

Good day. Tell me, did anyone try the lasagna attachment? I really need rolling for dumplings. here I am suffering - take an atlas with a motor or buy a nozzle for Boshik?
and I have been using the device for 3 years already. happy as an elephant. the meat grinder only pumped up. only works fine at high speed, but still produces very slow meat output. as I bought it, I tried it, I removed it. now I had to get it again, because my meat grinder had gone to work. I am furious every time I scroll something. Therefore, doubts are plagued - will the lasagna attachment turn out to be just as stupid?
Anchic
koluchchka, or maybe try to sharpen the knives for a meat grinder?
Charline-MT
Quote: koluchchka
the meat grinder only pumped up. only works fine at high speed
1) koluchchka, and at what speed do you usually use a meat grinder? I have Boshik for 5 years already. The manufacturer himself recommends using a speed of 5-7, which is very, very fast. I usually turn meat by 6. I eat everything: beef, pork, and lamb, and poultry - there have never been any problems. Films and veins never bothered me, I'm too lazy to cut them out. The only thing I do is remove bones and cartilage. I stuff sausages at the same speed. 7 included for sausages.
I would, yes, advise sharpening the knives (you need to sharpen both the knife itself and the grate) and plus - use the manufacturer's recommendations for speed.

2) About dough sheeter (MUZ5NV1):
I also have this attachment (I seem to have the whole set). There has never been a manual or other freestanding device. I bought a set of Pasta Passion - MUZ5PP1 (dough roll + noodle cutter) about 2-3 years ago, last New Year I asked Santa Claus for a "spaghetti". Let me tell you how I do it.
I make the dough for noodles and spaghetti according to the recipe 1 egg per 100 g of flour, 50% / 50% wheat flour VS + from hard varieties. I mix with knives in a multi-mixer MUZ5MM1. Dumplings dough on the recipe "dough in 21 sec." in the same place. There are variations with color dough. I tint with beet juice, tomato paste, spinach. Sometimes I make pasta right away with herbs: bisil, oregano and mint. Then I roll it out on a dough sheeter; if it's pasta, then I also cut it on a noodle cutter (MUZ5NV2) or a spaghetti maker (MUZ5NV3).
I don't do a lot of pasta. I can't dry it, it starts to crumble. So I did it - they ate it right there. Dumplings-dumplings - it's easier here, rolled and frozen. No problem. For dumplings and other things, I roll it out to 2 (the thickest dough is 8, and the thinnest is 1). Normally sticks together, wraps and cooks. I roll pasta 3-1, depending on the type, mood, desire and dish. It is cooked literally for 2-3 minutes, it also goes through "marriage" with sauces flawlessly.
By the way, keeping in mind the remarks from point 1, I also roll out at 6 speeds.
In general, I am satisfied with the attachment. I am satisfied with the fact that my "machine" is multifunctional. I feel like a real combiner))))
The only thing that darkens my joy is that now the dough roll at "thin values" began to fly off the selected thickness. She does it without a test. Bosch does not undertake to repair, they say buy a new one. But nevertheless, I have adapted and am not going to buy a new nozzle, at least not yet.

Ultimately, it's up to you to decide.I can also add that the presence of a motor greatly facilitates the whole thing, frees up your hands, well, more precisely, the dough is more convenient to hold, guide and accept with both hands
koluchchka

Girls, please write me your opinions on the comparison of Bosch ProfiMixx 47 and Bosch MUM 52131. I rush between these combines, like that Abizyana. I take used workers, the price is approx. is the same for both. BUT WHAT IS BETTER? First of all, I need to knead the yeast dough, then everything else. Mixer and citrus. a juicer is not needed at all, let it stand.

Sveta, I already wrote to you that the sizes are one to one. However, the higher the power, the better. You can beat the cream better. The maximum speed is higher.
The fifth has more potential features. You never know there .. in the future, suddenly you want to buy all sorts of priblud.
That is, I chose the model of the 5th series for myself.

What are the advantages in my opinion of the Bosch ProfiMixx 47? There, you can easily rub vegetables in the absence of a bowl, and in the fifth series you only need to go into the bowl, or dances with tambourines in the form of a stub. I'm used to .. but unnerving.
In my opinion, this is the only pleasant difference.

Secondly, the plastic bowl keeps heat better. When you make dough, it cools less.
Although the metal is easier to clean and the syrup is poured more calmly))) The bowl can be heated.

In general, I would buy the 5th series, which I did.
But look. For grating vegetables, the power is insignificant; for yeast dough, you still will not rise above the 2nd speed. The limit is the 4th and even then it is not necessary.
But the opportunity to buy a cube and other things and a high whipping speed for marshmallows and creams are already more important things.
Ilmirushka
fffuntic, Lena, I also have a MUMKA 5 series, well equipped initially. But I'm still not going to buy flexi. Share your experience, can you buy a plastic bowl for it? And yet, how can you grate vegetables, if not into a bowl, but into what? Directly to the salad bowl, or what?
koluchchka
I bought a lasagna attachment. Wah-wah, what a miracle !!! my poor little hands are just delighted)))) before, after a couple of kilograms of dumplings, I couldn’t squeeze my hands into a fist, they hurt like hell from a rolling pin, but then I stuck it and did not notice)))) I love my Boshik, how he helps me out)) already 3 I have been using it for 5 years. I have 54251. complete with a blender, a cube cutter, 3 discs, 3 whisks, a meat grinder (we became friends))), a citrus juicer, a bag for discs and whisks. and now also rolling. It's a pity the additions interesting for me ended)))
Charline-MT
svetta, and the cars themselves live, do you have the opportunity to inspect and check? This is also an important point: one person loved the technique and used it carefully, while the other, for example, grinded nails.
And so I would recommend the 5th series. If you get involved and want to roam, there will be where.
