If you don’t confuse it, then I meant the wrong recipe. Strange ...

What about the toaster and the tomatoes?

Tronic, such a sandwich !!

in a TOASTER, fry a piece of white bread / loaf until golden brown, rub it with hot garlic, then tomato (cut in half and grate with pulp), salt and pepper, and grease with a little olive oil.

seems to be nothing special, but it must be tried - it's a real hit! we have fights for every next sandwich

And if you sprinkle with chopped basil - then just. we also dabbled in such buffers in the summer.

Alenka, do you understand me ??

I have a toaster for a year, and in the tomato season it works out absenteeism !!

It seems to me that it would be worthwhile to separate the topics about the toaster and about the sandwich maker :) Otherwise everyone is confused about what it is about :) And then, in my opinion, the sandwich maker deserves a separate temka - it's a very convenient thing

Friends, please tell me, can you just fry bread in a sandwich maker like in a toaster? I want to kill two birds with one stone. We love toasts, without them breakfast is not breakfast, but we often indulge in hot sandwiches. And for both of them there is no place in the kitchen. Can the sandwich maker to some extent replace the toaster if necessary?

I tried it, it didn't work out very well, because the bread, laid out 1 piece in a candlestick, did not fully contact the plates and did not fry, it just heated up
Recently I saw a candlestick in a German used goods store, where the plates were not for triangular sandwiches, with grooves (I have one), but a depression in the plate in the form of a whole piece of bread, square. So I think in such a sandwich maker, bread should be fried on at least one side (the second plate, the top one, will probably not come into contact with a piece of bread again). Alternatively, lay 2 pieces in a square depression like on a sandwich, fry them on the outside, and then swap the outside and inside sides and fry again.
I don’t know if I presented my thoughts in an accessible way.

I have one, Phillips. True, it was bought many years ago. I specifically looked for just this one, with rectangular shapes, since since Soviet student times I really love my mechanical ones, we still use them at the dacha on the fire

Here, look, I accidentally caught sight of a sandwich maker with a removable grill panel. I think it will make toast croutons.

Well, I finally chose! BINATON NT-7702. Such a cool thing: yahoo: How they brought a whole loaf of white bread from the store at once ... could not tear themselves away ... They would have fried it, but it was too late to run to the store. With jam and coffee ... TASTY!

Girls who have sandwich makers, advise which one to buy. Today I watched inexpensive Maxwell. But I'm afraid it will break quickly.I understand in my mind that I will not use it all the time, but I want it for a long time. And now I am faced with a choice: buy more expensive or inexpensive. Write who has what and your impressions. You are welcome

Something seems to me that there is nothing special to break ... I have Tefal, but they gave me a gift, if I bought it myself, I would have bought an inexpensive one, but with replaceable panels ... in appearance, as for me, there are no special differences no between expensive and cheap

kirch, I have moulinex. Yuzay not often, but she is already 8 years old, and she is in excellent condition. About 2 years ago, my sister could not decide what to buy for her - a toaster or a sandwich maker. I gave her both a toaster and a sandwich maker to taste. The sister decided that the sandwich maker wanted, and bought it, but only from Orion (or something similar). So it looks almost like moulinex, but the coating from the plates peeled off almost immediately. My sister regretted that she had decided to take a cheaper one, although the funds allowed to buy moulinex.

Girls, thanks for the answers. I will not buy cheap.

I have a Philips Cucina with replaceable panels (3pcs). I bought it in 2005 or on the 6th it worked fine until 2010. It started to overheat and very much, it stopped turning off by itself, in general, there is something to break. The non-stick coating is still in excellent condition!
She fried the bread very well - the croutons were excellent!

MY QUICK SNACK AT THE SANDWICH... A SANDWICH WITH FRUIT FILLING.APPLE, KIWI, STRAWBERRY JAM
I have such a toy worth collecting dust for six months, probably. Probably my hands are growing from the wrong place. If you make a dry filling, then everything is in order. I tried to make fruit filling several times. Each time it all ended in tears. Everything flowed inward into a heating ten. I wiped it off as best I could, but the view is certainly spoiled. More generally, I'm afraid to do something.
Cheese with sausage is just tired. It's just that the bread is still not tasty. Not like a toaster. Even if you open the lid so that there is air access, it still turns out to be a rubber cracker, and not crunchy crunchy like in a toaster.
It's a pity for money. I can't imagine how the girls make masterpieces in it. Sometimes it seems to me that all this is a photomontage. I already put the fillings on the floor. teaspoon, all the same everything flows out. I don't really know what to do with this unit. It's a pity to throw it out, but it takes a place in the kitchen.
Please tell us how to do everything right there. How are you doing so well?

This week, the question of buying a toaster arose sharply, I did not think that it would take so much time to choose it, in the end the choice fell on Tefal, I liked the reviews, not fancy, and the price of 1,500 rubles. When I tried to order in the online store, it was not available. I went to Auchan for groceries and Oh Miracle! There is my toaster, of course, my hands stretched out, and strangely enough, my husband did not mind, said that he would try it himself. And here's a little report, suddenly someone will come in handy when choosing.

Happy purchase, Helen! I read in another topic the opinions of girls about the uselessness or necessity of a toaster, but did not interfere, because, as you know, how many people, so many opinions. But since you are with us now, then I will speak out - we have been using toasters for more than a decade, and we have them everywhere - at home, in the country, and in the apartments of children. This is a necessary device for us.

Olga, thanks! Well, we also get the Senwichmaker from time to time, I hope that they will use the toaster more often, because in the morning I don't go to the kitchen, dad makes breakfast for himself and the girls, and I scrape out of bed 5 minutes before going out, I have breakfast after that , as I will deliver everyone.
