My cake is always sooo high. And I never close the dispenser. And I often use it in general.
And there was NEVER a white spot or dents.
The bottom of the dispenser hangs on the side and does not interfere with anything. And at night I often put bread with raisins or seeds, and everything is fine.

To prevent dried fruits from sticking and sticking to the dispenser, I mix them with a small amount of bread crumbs (small).

When baking French bread, you don't need to look at all.
Always a great result.

my household asked the question: how much is our bread?
has anyone counted the cost of bread?
Rina
A question out of idle curiosity? Or find out the degree of payback of the stove?

My simple bread comes out at a price not very different from the store one. And my family does not care. We just know WHAT we eat.

The simplest calculation of the simplest bread (to the maximum, but the flour is average in price):
flour 500 g = 2 UAH
live yeast 1/12 pack = 0.1 UAH
salt, sugar =
butter 20 g = 1 UAH
Total only for ingredients is about 3.2-3.5 UAH. plus an electrician. That is, according to the most non-optimistic estimates, a loaf of 750-800 g costs up to 4 UAH. ($ 0.5).

When using sunflower oil and the cheapest flour, the cost can be reduced by another half.

my household asked the question: how much is our bread?
has anyone counted the cost of bread?

Once I was calculating my most popular recipe, although then the flour was 10 rubles each. So the result was impressive. It turned out much cheaper than the store one. But here it depends on the recipe. It is impossible to say how much OUR bread costs, because the products are different and the prices are also different. The bread that I counted turned out to be 8 rubles in the summer, weight - almost a kilogram.
Alena78
I wondered if the bread is simple, it turns out to be inexpensive, but if additives appear, for example cheese or dried fruits, then the price immediately rises.
If we also consider that homemade bread is eaten very quickly
We hardly ate the store at all, and threw out a lot.

The main thing is that homemade bread is much better! No comparison!
lina
I figured it was close (almost equal) to the bakery. when I was thinking, I baked white with dry yeast. Now I figured out a self-leavening one, which I bake constantly - more than half of rye with raw yeast - much cheaper, pure products cost less than half the cost of an inexpensive store loaf. I either leave sour milk for an additive (and do not throw it away) unfinished, or they give me overdue two baguettes - the products are again less than half. Plus electricity and minus discarded bread (we barely mastered half of the store-bought bread, it was already inedible on the third day, and we eat homemade bread until the fourth or fifth day). I'll clarify - I counted the white flour that I use - and it's expensive.

lenucha, if you need it, in Excel you drive all the products into one column, prices into another, and formulas for a specific recipe in subsequent columns

It will be necessary to count, especially since I have such a table (made for confectionery). Only I have stocks of flour since the summer, and in the fall it has risen significantly in price. In addition, it should be borne in mind that bread is subsidized in Kiev, that is, it is cheaper than in most regions. Relatives in Dnepropetrovsk, with inexpensive flour, live yeast, vegetable oil and the same sour milk residues, turn out bread much cheaper than store bread.

exactly in bags of 10 kg. It is difficult to buy flour 1 and 2 seconds in Kiev, I had to stock up in Dnepropetrovsk.

Simply, the less sugar in the recipe, the lighter the crust of the cake will be!

lana7386, thanks, we will seek a compromise by reducing the amount of sugar. I put 6 tbsp. l. sugar for 450 g of flour + a bag of vanilla sugar (3 g).

zabadazh, I wonder, how much sugar did you add to Bo's cake?

Hello dear members of the forum. Help me to understand. I make a dough for pancakes and feathers at the end of the kneading, some of the flour remains at the bottom. Help me to understand ))))
Rina
Do you immediately send all the liquid for pancakes into a bucket? If yes, then it will be badly kneaded, and there will be lumps, and flour will remain around the edges.

Put all dry and thick ingredients in a bucket, add half or a little more water / milk, turn on the "pizza" mode, watch the kneading. When the flour and liquid are mixed to the state of a dough bun, start very quietly, literally half a teaspoon, add the remaining liquid. If you pour everything at once, it will not mix and sprinkle the entire stove inside and everything around (if the lid is opened). When the dough is already semi-liquid, then the infusion rate can be increased.
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=45712.0

If the dough is kneaded soft for the pies, then you will have to help with a silicone spatula, scooping flour from the corners of the bucket to the dough.

Thank you for the warm welcome to your friendly family. Now she is ours!
Here it is ... the long-awaited morning of our first bread! We woke up from the smell of the Motherland, the smell of REAL BREAD, which filled the whole apartment !!! I must say right away that despite the prevailing opinion about the noisy work of bread makers at night, strangely enough, we did not hear anything at all at night, although the door to the kitchen was wide open. No discomfort at night. Maybe a healthy sleep?
Well, now about the MAIN thing! To be honest, I was skeptical earlier about the very idea of buying and using a bread machine in home life. But the effect of this morning proved that my unjustified asceticism is not appropriate in this case! Here is our first handsome!
