For pizza (and not only!) I use this awesome sauce! Very tasty and quick to prepare. It can be frozen and used wherever and whenever you want.

Jamie Oliver's Tomato Sauce

Structure:

Tomatoes (ripe) - 1 kg
Garlic - 2 cloves
Fresh basil (can be substituted with rosemary or oregano) - to taste
Olive oil
Salt pepper
Brown sugar - 2 pinches

Preparation:

Fry chopped basil and whole garlic cloves in olive oil until golden brown. Chop the tomatoes in a blender and add them to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, sprinkle with sugar and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Take out the garlic cloves.
Cool and freeze. Better in small molds. Defrost at room temperature before use.
