although about 6 hours I probably turned it down
Rina
Yura, understanding comes with time and experience. I often leave the bread for several hours (I put it on in the evening to control the kneading, then I go to bed, so the bread in the HP after the end of the program sits for 3 and 4 hours), I don't bother turning it off. Well, I'll get the already cooled bread, well, it will have a moist crust - usually bread dries up in the open air. I don't turn off the HP from the socket at all ...
*** yana ***
Yuri2205really, you do not bother with this .... this is not a fundamental point .... nothing terrible will happen if you leave your stove unattended for half a day .... Panasonic is a smart technique! she won't let you down! I pull the plug out of the socket only for the reason that our voltage is VERY unstable .... imbalances are often ... and somehow it seems like a problem with grounding ...
Yuri2205
Thanks for the advice! Good mood and good luck in business.

I saw a new model, there is a special program for baking such bread, I was very surprised at its presence in the Russified version, because I'm sorry, but not everyone can afford a pound of flour for 250 rubles. For the sake of interest, I read all sorts of laudatory reviews about this flour and happily forgot. And then I ran into the bread house at the exhibition and there I saw a package for 80 rubles. Also expensive - but interesting ... I read the instructions on the package and hung up ... In general, it says that you need to bake on the whole grain program, but the optimal time for baking is 3 hours ... And how to combine this for Panasonic-257, the only thing that came to mind was the rye program. Maybe someone tried it?

Good quality whole grain flour at an affordable price can be bought on the forum, here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=39305.0

The bread is delicious and healthy!

You can bake such bread in a bread maker on the main program, I did it. Here is a master class on dough and baking Kolobok made of whole grain flour https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=49810.0

Bake for health

It's not about central flour flour - I've been using this one for a long time .. I was just embarrassed by the discrepancy in baking time, because Panasonic CZ bakes for 5 hours, and on the flour packaging they write about 3 ... I just already had experience in baking corn bread when I, without looking at that the recipe was originally for another HP, I put the whole grain program, this was probably the first and only time when I threw out the bread - it was impossible to eat it - dust. I would not want to throw away bread with such expensive flour ...

I have a question, maybe someone else has an interface not Russian, but English? can't find "jam" Maybe "brioche"? but I translated it as a sweet roll, pastries ... and the time there is not 1:30 ... But it can't be everywhere, but I have not ???

And when I was thinking whether to take Panasonic with a despenser or not, my final decision was influenced by my opinion Rina, which reasonably explained that the absence of a despenser is not a minus, but in some part even a plus. I bought a Panasonic 2500, I am very satisfied and very grateful Rine for competent advice. Rina, thank you very much!Creamy

Maybe you have the word jam (jam) and "brioche" French dough ..

Don't brioche for sure. This is a very rich dough / bun. Jam should go like Jam if you have this mode at all.
Lea
Yes, I thought that brioche is clearly not that. Well, it means that my beautiful SD-257 does not have this function. Here's what's available: basic, whole wheat, rye, french, italian, brioche, sandwich, gluten free, pizza, bake only. In principle, keeping in mind the reviews that this is more a quick-eating jam than our classic jam, I am all the more not offended. We make jams that are eaten in about a year. I just don't really fit in, like someone with the same model has this function? how can it be?
In general, I am very pleased with my bread machine. Thanks to the forum ""
And forgive me, I jumped 1 page and found the answer. My version of the stove is European. Thanks to the forum!

nesla just keep in mind that you cannot bake bread with the dispenser removed, the thin lid may deform!
And how is bread baked after raisins fall out of the dispenser, for example. The flap does not close back and the bread is baked with the dispenser flap open, as if it were not there at all. Another thing is that you should not look there when baking - the temperature inside the HP will drop.

these bread makers have a double lid. Therefore, the temperature does not drop to critical levels even when the dispenser is open.

Friends! Tell me about the rye regime.
First, there is an alignment of pace.
Then kneading (how long does it take?)
further ascent (in the instructions 1 hour 20-30 minutes) during the ascent there is a warm-up, and if so, after how much?

In general, the instructions on page 5 are all written.
Equalization of temperature - 45-60 min.
Kneading -10 min. (The dough is not kneaded for a long time)
Rise - 1.20-1.30min
Baking-1 hour.

Yes, I know that it is written in the instructions, it is just that the usual one also simply says that there is a rise in so much time, and that there is a climb in the middle of the climb is not written, so I thought, maybe on rye as well. that's why I'm asking in the rye program is there a dough crunch?
Rina
there is no kneading on the rye program.
Katrinka
I have been using this bread maker for over a year now.
I see in the city an advertisement for a bread machine of an unknown manufacturer with the function of yogurt.

Tell me, is it really possible to make yogurt at 257? And How?
tat-63
for yoghurt you need a temperature not higher than 40 degrees. You are unlikely to make it in this stove

there is a dough mode - what is the temperature there?
tat-63
in dough mode no more than 30 gr. If you can eat a multicooker in it or in a thermos. Yogurt preparation is a lengthy process. Dough mode 2h

Question to all
Who has ever left HP for the winter in cold weather in an unheated room?

Has the digital indicator retained its operability after such storage? He's on liquid crystals, which may not be able to withstand frost.

And I, it seems, will have to leave HP at the dacha this time (there is a second at home).

Health problems. Fortunately, for the most part already past. But. To the cottage 103 km on the counter. I'm afraid I'll have to refrain from driving until spring. And the documentation for it needs to be updated. Inspection, OSAGO ...

I have been leaving my old 253 at my dacha for the third winter already - the flight is normal, as it worked well and it works. There, a large cartoon 18th and a thermopot also with HP remain for the winter - no problem. I just turn them on upon arrival in the spring only when the room warms up. So do not worry, Panasonic will not let you down Health!

The spare Panas (true-255) has been living on an uninsulated balcony for a year now, everything works fine, nothing is buggy. Just before loading, I warm it up to room temperature before work.
GENICH
Please tell me where you can buy a bucket for the Panasonic SD-257 Bread Maker in Kiev, the old one was very much scratched.
sazalexter
GENICH The bucket can be ordered at the service center, the list is located in Ukraine, on the off-site. Parts No. ADA12R1321 🔗 Light coating, for models SD-251, SD-253, SD-254, SD-255. It also fits the SD-256, SD-257 models, in general, if the bucket does not flow, it can be used further.

here in Panasonic Plaza there is what you are looking for, but the price

Please tell me why you can't leave the jam in the bucket until it cools?

plod7, in general, I would not cook jam in HP, sugar syrup getting on the gland disables the bucket.

Good afternoon! Please tell me for the holiday a proven recipe for paska (Easter cake)? baked according to the instructions (cake recipe), the crust burns all the time ... ((Panasonic SD-257 bread maker. I'm interested in a recipe for this particular model, tested.

sa77, I bake on SD255 this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/@option=com_smf&topic=3502.0.html setting the size L the crust is light, the mode is basic, and as soon as it picks up I take it out of the HP without waiting for the consequences of "tanning"

Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah! I bought the 257th Panasonic! Where I just didn't look for him, thanks Elena Bo for advice to look at Avito. I found almost a new one, only the comb was broken - apparently, they tried to get it with a fork. So I can't wait to experience it, and how deliberately the house is full of bread and the pies have not yet been eaten It's good that I studied all the Panasonic topics before buying and already knew how to reset the programs and that the bucket dangles a little, otherwise I would have had enough heart attack when checking.
It does not fit a little in height under the shelf, but if you put it sideways when baking, then the lid opens completely. I don’t know, or I’ll use it this way, and I’ll ask my husband to raise the shelf by 10 centimeters.
Thanks to all!
Sneg6
Biryusa, Olga, that's a dream come true! Congratulations!!! Let the stove serve to the delight of the hostess !!!

Don't lift the shelf, don't ruin your kitchen.
I still use my 255th. I slide it to the edge of the table and unfold it sideways - the lid opens normally and it is convenient to look into the bucket. If you did not move away from the wall, then in order to control the process you would have to get up on the chair.
Creamy
My HP Panasonic 2500 has been living in the kitchen chair by the window from the very beginning and is clearly not going to move.

I also came to this conclusion and found a place for the stove (or rather, even two): when not in operation, it rests in the corner of the table, and when I baked it today, I put it on the vegetable drawer. It is sturdy, on a metal base, and the height of a stool is very convenient to open the lid and watch the process. Today I probably spent an hour admiring how the kneading takes place. Here I had three bread machines - for 1.3 kg of bread with two stirrers, for 1 kg with one and very small for 0.75 kg, but with porridge. It seems to be completely different, but now it seems to me that they are all like twins, and I cannot compare Panasonic with any one In short, I had love with him from the first kneading look
Countryman
Or put Panas himself on a stool. I took the second HP, which I immediately took to the dacha, drove from the stool for the whole season. Until the buffet-rack with the target place for it has not matured.
natushka
Who knows, please tell me. I thought of adding sesame seeds to rye bread using a dispenser. I set the Rye program, when you select the Mode - baking with raisins, the 2 hours indication lights up on the display. Is this how it should be or the dispenser is not used on the Rye Program? I didn't find it in the instructions, I used to use the dispenser only when baking white bread, I'm sorry, if it was already, I don't have time to read - I put the bread.
Qween
natushka, in this mode the dispenser is not included in the option. Add sesame seeds yourself.
julia_bb
I bought such a Bread Maker on Avito. SD 254 lives in the dacha (without rye and a dispenser) - I'm tired of taking her back and forth. Now I put the main one on the batch. Girls, tell me or see, do you have such a backlash on your shoulder blade? My old hp is in the country, and I don't remember, it seems to me that my shoulder blade sits denser
I don't know how to insert a link from YouTube correctly
Biryusa
Yulia, my Panasonic has exactly such a backlash, probably 30 degrees.
julia_bb
Olga, thank you) It seems that the first batch went well, now it's standing on the proofer. Apparently I also have such a backlash on another hp - it's just that I have had it for a long time, and did not pay attention))
Biryusa
Much has been written about the backlash in this topic Kneading paddles.

Olga, thank you again I'll go read it
