Poppy seed rolls (m & # 225; kos rudacska)

Ingredients

For the test:
Flour / s 400 gr.
Butter or margarine 250 gr.
Sour cream 200 gr.
Salt pinch
For filling:
Poppy 125 gr.
Sugar 30 gr.
Milk 75 ml.
Lemon zest 1 PC.
Raisins 1 handful
Honey 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Poppy seed rolls (m & # 225; kos rudacska)Sift flour and mix with salt. Add chopped butter.

Traditional Christmas dishes in Hungary include poppy and nut rolls bagli (diós-mákos beigli), but since on Christmas and New Year's holidays everyone visits each other and it is customary to treat them with sweets, they also bake various cookies, one of them is mákos rudacska.

Natasha, the filling is quite thick, otherwise the roll cannot be wrapped, so do not overdo it with milk. The raisins remain separate berries and it is better to take not large, but small ones. Do not soak the raisins first, but simply wash and dry with a napkin.
I also want to note that the next day I liked the rolls more than immediately after baking
