If you make cupcakes on the Baking, then do not open - it will settle. And if something is meat and vegetable, then you can calmly.

I remember that I had this too. I set the chicken to cook for 1 hour on STEERING, 10 minutes passed - I looked, and the cartoon was in HEAT mode. But due to inexperience, I was not scared, but thought that I had pressed the wrong button. Disconnected from the network and turned on again.
lemur
I also tried to boil the milk, but with fear I looked in all the time, so I didn't have time to escape, and we really liked making yogurt. This morning we pierced with oatmeal, did it on the timer and turned it off 10 minutes before readiness, it turned out to be a well-boiled mess, my husband and I do not like this, and my son completely refuses any porridge. When the multi has free time I will bring this porridge to mind, because my husband only eats oatmeal with chicken and raisins. But yesterday I stew turkeys, it turned out delicious and it is so soft-class! Today, according to the plan, I cook millet porridge with pumpkin for myself, and then I want to experiment with frozen vegetables, I will try to stew them.

frozen vegetables turn out great if steamed, only I add some salt to them beforehand, even in frozen form

lemur, I first put frozen green beans on the Baking with 1 tsp of vegetable oil, then add a little boiling water, switch to Pilaf mode. I tried Quenching right away, it seemed very long and still not soft. I haven’t tried how mixtures of vegetables or brocloi with color will behave, maybe just Stewing is enough for them. Tell me when you try
I am reporting! I liked the vegetables and the main thing is not to stand at the stove and interfere! I had my own frozen zucchini, peppers and tomatoes. In the baking mode, I fried onions and carrots, added frozen vegetables and after 10 minutes transferred the cartoon to the pilaf mode. I thought that there would be a lot of liquid in them, like on a stove, but it was not there, it turned out that! Apparently the freezer will be empty soon! Konfetti She took the porridge on good-cooking. An incomplete glass of rolled oats and 500 milk, turn off 10 minutes before the end, salt and sugar to taste. Lika thanks for the idea of the pilaf program! And the vegetables have already been eaten!

lemur, and how long did it take?
Lika, Thank you. I wrote it down for myself :)

In general, it’s interesting, after all, how much programs such as pilaf, buckwheat and porridge are designed for? I understand that it depends on the amount of products. But how to calculate when it is more convenient to put on Plov, and when to put out, for example .. Did anyone give any numbers?
and it depends on what you want at the end) The fact is that the "buckwheat" mode does not depend on the number of products (for a long time already one of the local men figured out the secret) but on the amount of liquid. That is, the cartoon will turn off when the boil-off ends (weight difference).
And you set the extinguishing mode for a certain amount of time. That is, food may remain in the "sauce"

This happens to me only when I boil milk and, of course, I look in there every minute, because while I calmed down ...
Now I only boil on Milk porridge. Let it be longer, but you don't have to stand next to it under the lid to look, milk does not run and the program works out the entire cycle.

And I have a question again! In a few days, my husband will bring a slow cooker from Khabarovsk, I managed to read something on the forum, but nowhere did I see what kind of meat it turns out. More precisely: does it taste like a good but canned stew, or not? At one time, at work, my husband had to eat stew and now he does not like it at all.If there is no aftertaste, then everything is in order ... And if there is ...
Andreevna
musyanya, if the meat is stewed for 4-5 hours, the taste of stew may appear, but usually 1.5-2 hours are enough for stewing, depending on the meat. First, fry the meat with onions and carrots on the Baking Pastry (if the recipe requires) for 30 minutes (the program will turn on for 40 minutes by default, it must be interrupted by pressing stop or press the cooking time until it is 30 minutes), and then start stewing.
Lika
musyanya, to taste, cartoon dishes resemble dishes from a Russian stove. So no microwave can cook. Their working principles are different. In micro, under the influence of waves in the product, the liquid heats up, it seems to boil from the inside. Less is more, but boils. In the Multi, the product languishes with slow, even heating.

Questions for experienced multivars:
Should you fry in baking mode with the lid closed or open?
Cutlets, for example, how to fry them?

Personal observation:
Someone complained that the scoop of multi did not fit into the mouth. But no! My husband very deftly put it in her mouth! It’s even scary: he (my husband’s) is cozy - somewhere over 110 kg, and from cereals and buns, I'm afraid, it will become quite big ...

In a pressure cooker, for example, meat is cooked in water under pressure and everything boils strongly in the same water and can boil.
In a multicooker there is no such violent boiling, everything is cooked on a very slow heating, according to the principle in a pot, and since with a tightly closed lid, you can compare a "pot in the oven". And besides, in a slow cooker you can cook meat without water at all, for example, boiled pork. You cannot make boiled pork in a pressure cooker. Since the meat is not digested, it tastes better. This must be tried!
These are the differences in brief.

I also saw that the "brew" boils slightly during stewing. Anyway, at the beginning of the cycle.
I cook soups on Stew, but at the last moment I switch to steam for cooking and wait for gurgling and turn it off or put it on heating (as appropriate). For some reason it seems to me that if the soup is simply cooked on the Stew, it will turn sour faster. In any case, I ran into it once .. But I will not say 100%.

And if you cook (stew) in the oven at the same rate, it doesn't turn sour?
It’s just an accident you had, it all depends on the dish and products, maybe the time was little exposed and undercooked.
Braising involves cooking for a longer time than usual, but also tastier due to slow braising. The smallest time, it seems to me, should be at least 1.5 hours (depending on the set of products).
foxtrader
Or maybe not an accident. My soup turned sour several times, in the summer. After I began to steam for cooking, literally for 10 minutes, the souring ended. I always cook the soup for 2 hours. Various soups sour.

Zest,

I have assigned one more case to the cartoon.
Keep the kefir starter culture warm for the earliest possible bubbles when feeding.
Otherwise, you will come late at night, until you get it out of the refrigerator, until it reaches room temperature, until the top dressing is absorbed and the leaven grows in bubbles - I want to sleep. But it’s necessary for 3 days in a row to make bread by the weekend ...
Well, I adapted. For 10-15 minutes, the cartoon is heated, I turn it off, put the fed leaven and forget it for an hour.
With a thermostat, in short, she works part-time for me
Zest
AlexandraElenaBo gave the idea to use a multicooker as an ideal incubator for raising the dough, you - for the leaven, beauty, what a multifunctional unit it turns out Now I will feed the leaven just like that Thanks for the ideas!

Colleagues, tell me, please, if we cook soup, can we pour water above the top mark? According to the instructions, it seems, no, but logically, what will happen if it does not boil violently, or rather, generally languishes? For me, the main disappointment is its small volume. I need 4 liters of soup for a family for three days. And 3.1 liters of jellied meat (this is with meat) is generally frivolous ... Can it be higher than the mark, eh? ...
Dusya Myshkina
I usually boil a pot full of soup.
Not less than 4 liters. I think that the restriction applies to liquid in the case of strong boiling - so as not to clog the valve.
And the soup is cooked in the "stewing" mode - it puffs quietly.
And I cook jellied meat, pouring a full pan. Also no problem.

And I love a little crunchy cabbage, in the baking mode with onions no more than 30 minutes

Try adding sprouts at the end of cooked cabbage. a little oil and stir fry the cabbage on it.

Only cabbage with vegetables is better to stew (fry) without adding water, and butter at the end. And of course add spices for vegetables

Now I also have this wonderful saucepan! I master it a little, but there were problems with the timer, I can't figure out how to calculate the time.
The instructions say: "You can set the time after which you want to receive the finished dish." It was 12 o'clock in the morning, I set the timer for milk porridge at 9 o'clock. I woke up at 8 - the display still had 1 hour and 30 minutes.
on the other day, on the contrary, set it taking into account that it will stand for 8 hours in standby mode, then it will cook for an hour and there will be porridge by 9 o'clock, at 9 o'clock it was already in the heating mode and a little fried.
I have an idea that it did not heat up for a long time, but, perhaps, there was not enough milk and it fried during the cooking process.
Tell me how to set the timer correctly for the required time.

In fact, from 12 to 8, it couldn't be 1.30 until the end, if you bet on 9.
If you need porridge at 9 in the morning, and now it's 12, then set the timer to 9.
If it's 11 o'clock now, and porridge by 9 am, by 10 timer.

Thank you .

Alexandra, please tell me, do you flush the valve on the lid and the moisture trap every time? ...
As I understand it, when frying in Baking, the lid must be open
Mams
Lenusya, the valve must be disassembled and rinsed with water after every cooking. This is usually enough. Occasionally mine with the "faerie". It is plastic, it absorbs odors, so I will definitely rinse it, and do not collect it until the next cooking, it lies separately.

When frying, the lid can be open Or it can be closed.

It is possible and rather even necessary to keep the lid closed, so everything is fried normally. You can also open it, if not for long, but the temperature will be lower and the roasting will take longer.

I am impatiently waiting for the multicooker, should come to me at the end of the week
I'm interested in such a question, (although for sure it was already mentioned somewhere, but I did not find it) how can you interfere with the products in the multicooker? do you need a silicone spatula, or is a teflon one, or something else you need?
Elena Bo
In general, a plastic spoon is given to the cartoon. But you can also use silicone (even better) or Teflon.

Guys, only today they will bring a slow cooker, but for the third day I have been reading forums and recipes :))! No longer have the strength to wait :))! But, there is a question. Can you tell me how to adapt the usual recipes for ovens and stoves in terms of cooking time?
I would be very grateful to everyone for the answers!
musyanya
We need to figure it out! Today I deliberately left the porridge on the heating, and after an hour 1 N appeared, after 2-2 N, maybe she is counting the heating hours ?? I did not read about it in the instructions, I know that it can heat up for 12 hours and that's it. Or is it a glitch?
Freken Bock
I have indelible patna from the tomato on the plastic part of the filter and on the other white parts. Nobody has come across this? How did you fight? I usually solve such problems with Komet gel, but in this case I am afraid for the valve.
Mams
You can try baking soda, apply this porridge, and let it stand. Then wash with water. It may not wash off, the plastic absorbs the color well, you can also use a siph - it's okay, it's not abrasive, if you don't rub too hard, everything will be fine

Yes, it should be so. The rubber gasket does not allow the valve to fit tightly, over time the valve will get stronger
Rustic stove
Girls,
Well, here I am in your ranks. Although six months ago it seemed to me complete nonsense)) And I was possessed by multicooker psychosis

I bought a baby, 2.5 liters.

My impressions and questions.

It makes sense to take a small one for cereals for a family of 3 people. Although they write here that at least one plate can be cooked in a large cartoon, the instructions have restrictions on the minimum portion.
In online stores, the descriptions for both cartoons are given the same dimensions. This is not true. When they stand side by side, the difference is very visible.
The volume of the bowl to the brim is a full 2.5 liters.

And now questions.
How to understand riski on the inside of the bowl with the designation of liters? On the small one it is written 1L, although in fact about 2 liters is included in this place (in the large cartoon I looked at the designation 1.8L, although even by eye there is much more).
I did not find a search, poke pliz, whether the issue of temperature regimes was discussed (that is, Heating is the lowest temperature, Milk porridge is a little higher, well, something like that).

Thanks to all
Qween
Rustic stove , congratulations from the bottom of my heart!
The risks are not related to the actual volume. They are intended for cooking rice.

It seems to me that the instructions say about this. Some risks show the volume of cereals, while others show the volume of water. For convenience, but I don't pay attention to them.
Rustic stove
Girls, about the risoks, here's what I found on the Panasonic website:

take a close look at the inside of the pot. There are risks on it. On the right - from 3 to 10, on the left - from 0.6 to 1.8 liters. They have nothing to do with the capacity of the pan. They show the water level for the selected number of cups of rice: for the GRECHKA program - on the right, the risks on the left refer to cooking brown rice in the PLOV mode.
Tat
I never look at these risks, but they are written about in the instructions.
In terms of temperature, the lowest temperature is on the Preheat, the highest on the Baking (to fry on it), then Steam, then Stewing (just below the boiling point, such a very weak gurgling). Buckwheat - the mode is automatically interrupted after the water has evaporated, Pilaf - about like Buckwheat, but at the end it is still frying, that is, the temperature increases, Milk porridge - the temperature is lower than in Buckwheat (but I have never used this mode yet).
However, I could be wrong.
Tat
Yesterday, in a big cartoon, I made it late in the evening, and for breakfast we ate the last bite.
By the way, did you bake with a rug from without? Recently, I have always made a rug with "ears" out of baking paper, and then I pull them out - then even the most tender casserole or pudding remains intact.

If you look at the recipes, we will see that there are milk porridges for 1 glass of cereal for a large multicooker.

Maybe I never cook dairy, but for buckwheat and pilaf I looked - at least 2 is indicated. But I cooked all the time for 1 and normally (in the big one, until I got a small one, now I cook porridge in it).
Pogremushka
The instructions for the old model are really talking about milk porridge for 1 cup of cereal, and in some places and 3/4. And I really wanted to be upset. And it never crossed my mind to cook pilaf for one cup.
Girls, and a small multi has a minimum. Well, what is the maximum number of cups for porridge and pilaf, tell me too.
P.S. I think these restrictions are not in vain just now. Previously, there was no small saucepan on the Russian market, it was possible to scare off a potential buyer. And now with such postscripts they make you think about buying both pots :-) I think you can safely cook porridge for 1 cup in the new one.

Recommendations from the instructions
Buckwheat program - 0.5 cups of cereals
"Pilaf" - 1 cup of rice
"Mol. Porridge" 0.5 cups of cereal
This, I think, is the minimum.
And the maximum is up to the upper risky (along with the liquid).
Although at "Stew" I stuffed meat and vegetables to the very top, above the rizka, everything was stewed perfectly.

Today, after several consecutive cooking in a slow cooker, I turned on the "baking" for 20 minutes, in the motion saucepan - 0, and the time is counting down as expected. This was the first time I noticed. Maybe the cartoon is overheated, or is it time to change?

I plan to turn it on again in the morning.
