Lecho, it couldn't be tastier

Ingredients

tomato 3 Kg
sweet peppers 2 Kg
salt 2 tbsp. heaped spoons
sugar 1 glass
vinegar 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • I already had one recipe for lecho, with onions and carrots.
  • But this lecho cannot be tastier.
  • I will give an approximate number of products, which were given in their original form, but I myself do it "by eye" and to taste. Someone likes it sweeter, someone - on the contrary.
  • Preparation:
  • I scroll the tomatoes in a blender, put them on low heat for 30 minutes.
  • After half an hour, add salt, sugar and pepper, cut into strips.
  • I cook for 15 minutes.
  • I add vegetable oil and vinegar.
  • I continue to cook for another 15 minutes.
  • I put it in jars, let it cool, keep it in the refrigerator.
  • I get such a number of products: about 15 pieces of tomatoes (such medium, on twigs), 4 very large thick-walled peppers. I taste salt, sugar, I never add vegetable oil more than 2 tablespoons, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar 5%.

Time for preparing:

30 minutes

I also do almost the same, only I put much more pepper and a tomato without seeds and skins (juice with pulp). For 3 liters of tomato, 5 kg of pepper. I cut the pepper into 4 parts and put it very tightly into the jars, then fill it with the fill.
I confirm that it is sooooo delicious !!!
himichka
And in a jar at the bottom with garlic cloves
Kamusik
Nah, I don't put it, it has a very delicate and delicate aroma. IMHO, garlic is not the topic.

Try it, you won't regret it
Such a remark: pepper should not be boiled for more than 10 minutes - it will be digested

Yes, this is very important, it boils down quickly and then it byaka time spent and products.
Ok, I'll close it, I'll try to make a couple of cans with garlic with a specialist!

I wouldn't put garlic in this particular recipe. For my taste, spoil.
Keti
mka - and how much vegetable oil is needed for the initial recipe? you haven't written about him at all.

Yes, and have you tried to preserve it for the winter? Do you need to sterilize and how much?
Kamusik
Until mka no, I will answer. I sterilize empty jars and lids while everything is boiling. I pour it into the jars, turn it over, so they cool down. Stored at home, sorry in the pantry. I do it every year!

Kamusik, thanks. That is, it is possible without additional sterilization of products already in the jar? How much oil do you need?

Keti, Kamusik wrote quite correctly about sterilization. I add as little vegetable oil as it is written in the top post for the amount that I prepare.

I am not harvesting anything for the winter now, because I live in a country where there is no winter. Therefore, I make preparations for a couple of weeks so that the family can eat deliciously. It's easier to buy in a store, but it's not as tasty there.

It's good for you - there is no winter
mka
It's boring without winter. I want snow and sun. And when it's hot all the time - it's also difficult.
Sandiya
I'll try to cook. I want to give my child in winter instead of ketchup

Thanks for the recipe! Very simple and delicious! Garlic, too, seemed out of place. Maybe add some chili for those who like it hot. And so - shine and ecstasy!

Tell me, Kamusik, how much salt, sugar, vinegar, etc. do you put on 5 kg of pepper.
Sandiya
Girls, and 2 kg of pepper is already peeled, without the middle?
Valyushka
I do almost the same. But I take the thickened juice, be sure to garlic, without oil and vinegar. Quietly kept at home. Nicely so eaten.
