Sponge cake with peanut glaze

Ingredients

Dough
Egg 2 pcs
Sugar 150 g
Vanillin taste
Butter (melted) 80 g
Milk 100 ml
Flour / s 200 g
Baking powder 8 g / 2 h. L
Glaze (fill)
Walnuts (any other can be used) 100 g (I have 50 g)
Sugar 2-3 st. l.
Butter 40-60 g
Milk 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Turn on the oven 180 degrees.
  • Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until fluffy white cream (I beat for 3 minutes). Add melted butter, milk, add sifted flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Stir gently with a spatula until smooth, silky dough, with a thickness of about 10-15% sour cream.
  • Form (I have glass 28x21 cm), grease and sprinkle with flour. Pour the dough into a mold.
  • Before chopping, nuts can be pre-calcined in a dry frying pan or in the microwave.
  • Put butter, sugar, chopped nuts (to medium size) into a frying pan, add milk. While stirring, keep on low heat for 2 minutes. (I made the nut glaze in parallel while the eggs and sugar were beaten).
  • Put the nut mass on the dough, trying to distribute evenly. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes until browning evenly.

The pie is cooked very quickly, it turns out soft, fluffy with nutty caramel aroma and taste!
