To be honest, this is not for me.
GruSha I also bought them - it's not tasty, but in Sweden and Norway I drank homemade grog - that's something. I would like to reproduce.
Soon it will be cold, and it will be so pleasant to sit by the fireplace in a cozy armchair with a blanket draped over your legs (although it is not cold at home, so for the entourage), in the evening, looking at the fire, sip grog in small sips. And so that the house would smell like cinnamon, ginger and tangerines.
Ludmila
GROG
Products: rum, cinnamon - 4 sticks, cloves - 10-16 stars, brown sugar - 2 tbsp. spoons, tea, lemon.
Brew a fairly strong tea, add cinnamon, cloves, brown sugar to the tea leaves. Pour 1 part rum (about 40 grams) and 2 parts of the tea brewed in this way into glasses. Put a lemon wedge in each glass.

Adapt to the chocolate maker ... I just think.
fugaska
mulled wine:
dry red wine - 0.5-0.6 l
oranges - 2-3 pieces
honey or sugar - to taste, 2-3 spoons (options are possible)
cloves - 10 sticks
you can add cinnamon, but we didn't have it at that time.
done in the spring - great!
Cat
Ludmila, thanks!!!! What kind of rum is dark or light? And tea, I think, will do "Christmas Mystery" from Greenfield.

FugaskaYou are saving me again! And to scold the orange peel too?
fugaska
why should you scold her? just don't peel the oranges! cut with crusts, circles
Ludmila
I don’t know what kind of rum, GROG didn’t try to make it.
Cat
What a pity that it is warm outside now, after all grog and mulled wine, however, like chocolate and cocoa, in my opinion, drinks for cold weather. And with the first cold weather I will definitely cook. Usually my chocolate maker is idle in my closet until the cold weather, but since late autumn she does not know a day of rest
Yana
I made mulled wine according to the recipe for the chocolate maker from the Kenwood website:
Ingredients:
1 bottle (750ml) dry red wine
4 tbsp. l brandy
50 g brown sugar
1 package of instant "KOTANYI" mulled wine seasoning
200 ml orange juice
Cut 1 orange into slices for serving.
We load everything except the orange into the chocolate maker, turn it on, set it to "8" and wait until it's cooked. Put 1 orange slice in wide wine glasses and pour the finished drink. This mulled wine tastes like sweet and sour compote with bitterness. I liked the guests and me, my husband did not. Recently I bought another seasoning from the same company. It is called "Classic for Mulled Wine and Punch". I will experiment further.
Anastasia
And I like to make mulled wine in Shokoladnitsa with a mixture of SanVille spices from the Imperial Tea company. Right here 🔗 all the information is available about this mixture.

Furniture
I cooked mulled wine with Kotani myself, in a saucepan, I didn't immediately take the seasoning, because the powder and in general some kind of rubbish, but for 27 rubles chopped cinnamon sticks, pieces of zest, cardamom and something else I brewed. But all the same, it seemed to me that something was wrong in him, if he was missing, or on the contrary, a lot
Yana
It makes a big difference to cook mulled wine in a saucepan and in a chocolate maker. The chocolate maker is much tastier. I myself have tried cooking on the stove in a ladle before and I didn't like it.
Lola
Uraaaa !!! I bought delicious Italian chocolate !!!
lira70, sun, thank you very much !!! Delicious soft chocolate. Super!!! Thanks for the tip!
Lola
Anastasia , we also love mulled wine. Probably very convenient with a bag and no need to filter. If it's not a secret, where do you buy? I have never seen anything like it in our stores.

Conveniently, just do not lower the bags low into the jug, otherwise they are torn from the mixer inside the Chocolate Girl. I bought these bags at Perekrestok in Yu. Butovo, here. Probably in other "Crossroads" they can be too.
Andreevna
Lola, and I just saw such a red box with spices for mulled wine in Mosmart, where the spices are different.

There shouldn't be any drops on the stand! Maybe you have some cracks in the bottom there? So it may not be visible to the eye, but "water will find a hole" ...
Yana
Droplets remain if the chocolate is in the jug for a very long time. If you cook and consume immediately, there should be no drops.
MARishka888
well, it costs thirty minutes with the rest of the chocolate .. I start washing and see drops ...
I was even upset
Yana
In my opinion, it should be so, since the jug in the chocolate maker is not sealed, but is connected to the motor through a stirrer. It's the same in a blender: if you leave any liquid for a long time, there will be drops. And in the instructions for the x / n it is said that the remains of the dough can flow out of the vent. holes and this is not a malfunction (SD-255, page 26). So don't worry and eat hot chocolate quickly!
Yana
Has anyone used the new model Kenwood - CL 638 chocolate maker? So far I've only seen her in online stores: 🔗
In my opinion, it is more reliable, since it is made of metal, it has a larger volume and seems to have two replaceable stirrers.
fugaska
there are no replaceable mixers there - I use one. we have others and have not sold ... a good machine, but it seems to me that it differs exclusively in design
Yana
Fugaska, thanks for the info. It's just that another online store lists a stirring knife and a whisk for beating: 🔗
Probably the same mixer is meant there.
fugaska
well, it's hard to call THIS a knife
an ordinary stirrer, like in a bread maker
Yana
Yes, I know, I have a 438 model. When I read the description of the 638, I thought that this model is more advanced. Here's how to believe the description of the technique in online stores? It's good that you can learn everything from knowledgeable people on this site.
fugaska
By the way, I also have drops. according to observations: 1) if chocolate has been standing for a long time (or some other liquid), 2) if I wash the chocolate maker by boiling plain water in it (pour more and set it to the maximum).
so don't worry, it should be so !!!!
MARishka888
: (and unfortunately, my chocolate never turned out thick and dark !!! We don't sell chocolate mixes, and I also cooked milk with chocolate and cream, it turns out light brown and liquid ...
without mixtures can you cook thick chocolate ??
fugaska
of course it is possible! try it on sour cream (I posted the recipe somewhere on the first pages). very tasty, thick, and sour cream is not felt at all !!!
MARishka888
Will it be dark ???? As in a cafe ??? Or light ???
fugaska
well of course dark! you will still add cocoa !!! sour cream - for density!
recipe on page 4, answer # 50 - successful experiments !!!
MARishka888
:) so I added, but it doesn't turn out black, like in a cafe ...
and the usual color of cocoa ...
And no one ordered chocolate mixes online?

Do you add, as expected, a teaspoon of instant coffee to each cup of finished drink? At the same time, the taste of coffee is not felt in the finished chocolate drink, but the color becomes richer, and the taste is pleasant. I don’t remember where I read this advice, in some recipes, I took it on board. Try it, maybe you will like the result.
fugaska
there is such an anecdote about a Jew ("do not spare the tea leaves")
in general, I always put a LOT of cocoa, I really love chocolate !!! that's why I have a normal chocolate-colored hot chocolate! Recently, if I use chocolate mixtures, I still add regular cocoa. DO NOT SPIN OIL WITH OIL !!!
but it must be taken into account that the mixtures for hot chocolate are already with sugar, and cocoa itself is bitter. so sugar has to be regulated in practice, so to speak.
MARishka888
:) in general, I cooked chocolate without cocoa, because once I added it and it got some kind of aftertaste .. I don’t know how to describe it exactly, but in general I didn’t like it ...
on Saturday I will buy sour cream and cream and try to cook it again and add cocoa !!!!
Thank you for not leaving my questions unanswered !!!!!
sportdima
And I would recommend the fantan chocolate maker! There the shoeolad heats up and starts pdnimatsya down the tube and flow down the fountain! and you can conveniently dip there!

Today a consultant in Eldorado told me that the Chocolate Girl does not whip herself and does not give foam. She says there is a whisk for manual whipping, if they do not whip it, then there will be no foam BUT IS IT NOT SO? TRUE? I have already bought it through the online store and am waiting for delivery.
lira70
Zubastik

Well, I don’t know, he may not whip it, but we have it whipping up everything, only the foam is at the very bottom and when coffee pours out through the faucet, I pour the foam myself into the cup, although sometimes it pours out through the cake.
Zubastik
lira70, so I thought that the consultant was not in herself Rather, my aggregate would have already come, I want to make sure myself that and how
Yana
Zubastik, a chocolate maker whips hot chocolate mixes well. The foam turns out to be decent and stable. There, the instructions say that the cup must be filled with the stirrer on. Then the foam is even better. You pour it into a cup, and on top it turns out a gorgeous foam.

+1. Everything is completely true!
And the consultant in Eldorado is clearly confusing something. There is no hand whisk. I even made a custard in this chocolate maker, but you have to stir it all the time, if you do it on the stove, but here, please, everything got in the way, it turned out very well.
Yana
You can also make ice cream in the chocolate maker. Much better than manually stirring and heating on the stove.
Zubastik, what model are you buying 438 or 638? About 638, I read a description in one in-t store that there is also a whisk for whipping. Maybe the seller meant it?
Although Fugaski 638 has a model and she writes that there is no rim.
fugaska
indeed, there is no rim, only one screw. perhaps the saleswoman meant the protein cream, so it really cannot be driven into the chocolate maker
Zubastik
Delivered today !!! I bought a 438 model, I liked it more outwardly! Everything whips up perfectly, I did not expect such speed at all. There is no corolla - what is written on the sites and in the descriptions on the price tags is not clear. I will learn and share recipes!

Yana, and how to make ice cream in it?
Yana
Zubastik, in a chocolate maker I prepared ice cream (eggs + sugar + milk) for vanilla and strawberry ice cream, and then I mixed it with cream and poured this mixture into the ice cream maker. In time it turns out much faster than whipping, heating milk and then stirring everything again, standing at the stove. And the ice cream tastes better, the mass is more uniform. Although vanilla still needs more work. It struck me as a bit luscious. But I liked the strawberry. Reminds of a fruit and berry sherbet, only with a strawberry flavor. It can be eaten immediately after cooking and you can probably do without an ice cream maker.
Zubastik
Yana, thanks for the advice, now I need an ice cream maker for sure
So, I hasten to inform you that if you recognize a person in yourself who hates pure milk, then you just NEED a chocolate maker!
I hate milk, but I think I need to drink it, especially if you find live natural milk in the store, which is certainly difficult to do. My bags just began to fly off, and before one bag of a long-term storage could sadly sit in the refrigerator for several weeks and wait to meet with the trash can. And right now it's another matter! A drink can really satisfy your hunger, super for those who are on a diet and do not eat after six, I generally keep quiet about the taste and quality of the drink!
Of all the recipes tested and ready-to-use ready-made blends, I noted for myself that the most delicious MacChocolate chocolate with Hazelnut flavor is like this 🔗

Congratulate the new owner of the chocolate !!!
I found out about the unit on this thread, after reading the posts, I immediately realized that I definitely need a chocolate maker. The husband loves coffee with milk in the morning, and the son loves cocoa. With the chocolatier, making breakfast is easier and the drinks are more varied. It's easy to experiment with a chocolate maker and you don't need to measure the exact amount of ingredients, everything is by sight and by the taste!
Now I'm shopping for different chocolate mixes.
I bought a chocolate maker in Eldorado for 1750 rubles.

Has anyone made ice cream-based milk cocktails in a chocolate maker? As I understand it, it is not necessary to turn on the warm-up, you can just mix. But will such a thick cocktail pour out of the faucet?
fugaska
ice cream-based milkshakes are best done in a blender
ice cream, banana and milk (or juice, who doesn't like milk) - an amazingly tasty shake turns out !!!
and the chocolate maker does not whip well, in any case the banana will certainly not break
foxtrader
And I usually smashed the fruit in mashed potatoes with a hand blender, and then poured the mixture into a chocolate maker, along with the milk and ice cream that had melted. It's a good cocktail. Quite with foam
