I did it with heating only once - since childhood I don't like the smell of boiled milk, but it was present. The coverage is normal. I also cooked cocoa once, I cook it not in milk, but in water for dietary reasons, so I was not particularly impressed. In short, I indulge in coffee with cold froth in the morning. So my experience was hardly useful.
