I only collected leaves, no stems
So do I.
First I began to tear the stems, and then I think my hands, dear ones, how can I twist it? But I have her like shoe polish. She began to tear some leaves, but they break with petioles of 5-10 cm.
And yet I determined yesterday that I have it in the forest. She has a large leaf, larger than my spread out palm, and not as carved as that of a meadow.
But I have already noticed the meadow, I will also collect it)))

Natalo4-ka, I pinch off with my nails. Nails, of course, a skiff, but ... but without petioles
Nadyushich
Girls, maybe small petioles will be easier to spin? They are probably not so tough?
Natalo4-ka
In the evening I will grind, let's see if I will take some leaves next time.
Radushka
Nadyushich, no petioles!
Zachary
Hi girls!!! Well done that you do not give up and bring the matter to the end. Trust me, it's worth it.
Here's what you twist on a manual meat grinder, it's in vain, I use an electric meat grinder and twist my leg over it completely without loading the gadget. Tearing some leaves is not a thankless task. Tear whole and faster and more voluminously and use, if possible, an electric meat grinder, but if there is no one or it is a pity, then of course only leaves.
Yes, and there is one more option, this is male power to help you
Radushka
Zachary, I would vomit whole, but it grows in the meadow. It rained continuously for a MONTH. And other grasses are very tall. It breaks all together. Me, than to sort out the blades of grass, it is better to immediately tear the leaves. Fortunately, they are large. And the height of the stems is waist-deep in places. There will be tea not from the leaves, but from the stems
Nadyushich
Zachary, I would love to spin on an electric meat grinder and force my husband, but my husband with email. meat grinder in Kursk, and I inspect my mother in the Ivanovo region and combine business with pleasure. And then there is only a manual meat grinder and for the second year I have been twirling on it, a hard worker. Well, I'm a hard worker.

When I was spinning geraniums, I thought that I would satisfy my curiosity and I wouldn’t make it again .... And now ... I still want this tea! Both mono and mix! And what will happen to him when it is infused!

I'm glad it's not in vain
Radushka, Nadyushich, Everything is clear, well then, how it turns out

I picked geraniums yesterday too. It is already blooming. I collected a little, lies on withering in a sheet and in a bag. I also want to make a full-fledged game, I will collect more.
Radushka
businkairika, on Sunday I'll go to the village. Maybe my meadow has bloomed too? I was looking for horse sorrel. But, either from the rains it has grown to gigantic proportions, or is it not a horse, but our usual, gardening, from abandoned estates? The leaves are just huge. Like burdocks! I tried it - sour. Is the horse also sour? Who ate?
Nadyushich
... Is the horse also sour? Who ate?
[/ quote]
Olya, sour!
Radushka
Nadyushich, I - not Olya, but ... so, take "mugs" and not bother?
Nadyushich
Radushka, Dont worry! And for Olya, I'm sorry, you can see it pereklinilo, it's just that I now have a very difficult life period and I rest my soul at the forum.
Radushka
NadyushichHold on, brother! I, too, is not the easiest ... Alas and ah!
Nadyushich
Who else made geranium tea? What does it smell like to you, I mean tea? I drink and I can't remember ... maybe violets? .....
Natalo4-ka
I did, I haven't brewed yet. Maybe in the evening ...
lily_a
Gathered from a pound of leaves. It makes sense to make tea. Or dig in the freezer?
lappl1
lily_a, Lilya, it won't be enough! It would be necessary to collect the same amount. Then the fermentation will take place qualitatively!

Thank you! I will dig geraniums. I will do it separately.
Today I came from relatives. I typed so many different pieces of paper. I will do a rustic one. I sit contentedly like an elephant.
lappl1
Lily, very familiar feelings (I'm talking about an elephant) ... Congratulations on a successful "hunt". Happy tea!
Borisyonok
Yesterday I typed that Meadow Geranium ... I didn't find something in my fields, so it made me see it, even in the Vladimir region! I collected it for trial, but for some reason a huge package was "picked up" ...
All this stuff lies on withering ... and a little more pear and cherry.
Now I would "carve out" the weather and recruit Vanechka ... and I will be Happiness!

What does she smell like to you
Nadyushich, here it smells to me berry jelly.
The husband and donya took a sample - they approved, but they refuse to describe the taste-aroma, they said delicious. My son, in general, ignores all my teas, says grass, but I do not lose hope of pulling him into our sect. After suffering pneumonia, he changed his taste preferences, and not only for tea.
Nadyushich
Natalo4-ka, Natasha, thank you! Maybe jelly, but I still didn't understand what kind of berries. But the tea is fragrant and I hope it won't get worse after storage ...
I picked a couple of bags of leaves and geranium flowers, did not take the stems. Geranium came across both forest and meadow and for some reason it seemed to me that the meadow in the package smells more aromatic. We need to dial them separately next time.
Radushka
Nadyushich, Can you show a photo of both herbs? At least just leaflets. Nothing blooms in my meadow. It only grows and grows! I am guided by the smell of leaves and the similarity with those geraniums that grow in my garden. Familiar biologists say. which may not begin to bloom until July. But, they did not see the plant. Only by my words they judge
Nadyushich
Radushka, I posted a photo of a meadow geranium above, and a forest flower is blue and larger, their leaves are similar, only in a forest flower it is larger and darker. If I'm where the geranium is, I'll take both pictures. In the meantime, you can look at the photo on the Internet. But strangely, it has been blooming for a long time in the Ivanovo region, and Kharkov is much farther south ...
Radushka
Nadyushich, biologists say that the place of growth has little effect. I have a bush from the forest at home. The leaf is very carved and SMALLER. And the flowers are crimson. It has not bloomed in the meadow yet. The sheet is also carved, but much larger. Even the one in drier places
Nadyushich
Radushka, Here I ran and took pictures of geraniums.
It's forest.

Nadyushich, THANK YOU! Well, even though my geranium is without flowers, I see exactly what it is! GERANIUM! Tomorrow I'll make tea!

Nadyushich, Hope, is it a forest geranium with such purple flowers? I then realized that we have this one Can we make tea from it too?
Straight opening for me!
Radushka
Elena_KamchSo Zakhariy talked about her last year! Damn, I'm so happy for you! Do it! Today I started.
milvok
I collected a LOT of geraniums! Now I'm dry. I will write about the result. Fermented in the usual way.

Lena, I myself first studied a photo of geraniums on the Internet, and then I found it and took a picture. The girls confirmed that she was born. Now I am driving two packets of forest and meadow leaves together according to Zechariah. And the first time I did it from a meadow with stems. Now I will compare what happens. Today my brother came, poured him tea, he liked the geranium ...
Radushka
Nadyushich, I have from leaves without stems after the first twisting completely porridge, after the second something similar to granules, but ... after drying, they almost all crumbled. Now I brewed it. I'm trying. Astringent, with a rather strong bitterness. The color is fabulous. The scent is unlike anything I know. Weak.Although, I started drying at 100 degrees for 10 minutes, then dried it in the dryer at 60. I put it in a pillowcase, let it hang out! Has the right to life. You need to brew not as tightly as garden ones, that's for sure. I think it will be great in a country mix.
Well, I would do with cherries

Radushka, I remember, of course! But the meadow, which is in his photo, is very different from the forest meadow, we definitely do not have it, but this one, with purple flowers, at every step

And if it were not for such attentive and inquisitive people as Hope, I would have remained in the dark!
Nadia, is it your first time doing the forest? Collected everything straight together - stems, leaves and flowers?

Here, look, is it she?

Lena, yes, that's her. The first time I did a meadow one, with stems, but it is very difficult to twist it in a manual meat grinder. And now I collected only the leaves of both geraniums, and while they were in the bag, it seemed to me that the meadow smells more aromatic, but they are already mixed and I don’t know what will turn out, but, in my opinion, in any case, it will definitely fit for mixes.

Radushka, Well, I had trash right away, because I twisted it once, the color is gorgeous and the aroma is strong, it doesn't look like anything. I suspect that different types of geraniums have different tastes and aromas, but you are right that they are suitable for mixes, but with cherries, I am sure, the granules will be stronger, and there is nothing to say about the aroma. And about the granules, I'm not particularly upset. This does not affect the taste of tea, and this is the main thing for me. And yet, tea from dense granules should be brewed for a longer time and more than once, since all the deliciousness does not immediately turn into an infusion.

And she didn't even pay attention to what was happening to them in the brewing process, until I saw in tea topics that people were worried
I wondered whether it was worth worrying or not ... I decided that it was delicious for me, and okay!
Natalo4-ka
Oh, girls ... I got 1.37kg meadow geraniums. Where do you think? in my garden in a city house where I have been living for 20 years.
We have a vegetable garden of two plots and we do not cultivate all of it, but earlier there was a meadow on the far site, there was a herb there and still around the perimeter of the plot, there I found it. Ndya ... kicked naked for so many years.
milvok
Girls, here I am reporting. Everything worked out and the color is good and there are granules, BUT bitter. ..... It's not very tasty ..... Maybe freezing is a must ??? or wait, let time go by. ...

Radushka
milvokI was freezing. Bitter too.
Nadyushich
My first meadow geranium tea is not bitter. Dried from a mixture of meadow and forest, but have not tried it yet, maybe forest bitterness gives? Tomorrow I'll brew, I'll try.
By the way, some leaves are also spinning hard ...

Girls, I didn’t make geranium tea with big flowers and I don’t know if it’s possible. I had small flowers and leaves as in the photo of Zacharias.

So it is necessary to make only from meadow geranium, and not from all types. Other types may also be useful in some way, but not for tea ...
Natalo4-ka
I have forest not bitter
Zachary
Hello everyone! The girls are fine with the grass, they don't taste bitter. Although there are no poisonous plants in the family of geraniums, I still think it is better to collect what has already been tested.
Radushka
The husband said - do not fool your head! Nothing tastes bitter! And I'm bitter. True, if it is tightly brewed. I tried to brew an ordinary teaspoon in a glass. The bitterness is barely perceptible.
Nadyushich
Today I brewed my tea from a mixture of meadow and forest geraniums. Well, if they had not said about bitterness, then I would not have felt it. And so, the tea turned out to be different, the color is darker, more astringency, the aroma is subtler, there is no such strong, as in one meadow. This tea is more like Ivan tea, only more tart. The bitterness seems to be present, but if they had not said, I would have attributed it due to astringency. There is still geranium, but I’m unlikely to do it yet, it’s very difficult to twist even some leaves by hand. Although .... there is an option to make a little sheet, after freezing the sheet is soft ...
Radushka
Nadyushich, and I decided to make geraniums (I don’t know what grows in my meadow) with cherries. I think they will suit each other

Fit! And geranium is suitable for mixes! No, I like tea from it, I don't just like to twist it. And so, the weed is very worthy ...
