Well, I thought so ... so read these Chinese instructions, damn it
Masha, thank you!
Masinen
Yes, not at all)))
zhariks
Quote: Masinen
1 - strong
2-low low
3 heating
Why is this?
0 off
1 low
2 high
last - keep warm
So the instructions say. And I see no reason not to believe her. Even touch it with your hand, you can feel that it is 2 hotter.

otherwise there is one thing in the instructions, but another on the box
And where is the other on the box? Can I have a photo?
Masinen
Michael, all slowly have the same modes in the next order.
Allegra
zhariks, there is no photo yet (it's too late, I can't take a picture now). There on the box, on the side, there is a translation about this MV, the temperatures of the modes are indicated, BUT it is not specified which mode is hiding under which number. It is written like this: an indicator with 3 temperature modes High (90-100), low (80-90) and medium (60-70) So I thought that they mean first "1" - like high, "2" - low , well, "3" is average.
If it works out, I'll take a picture tomorrow.
Masinen
Medium is heating.
Allegra
Finally, my saucepan boiled for "2", the bubbles went down the walls (I hope it's IT - boiling), now I'll put it on "1" and I'll go to sleep, let's see what happens
kirch
2 - still high, 1 - low 3 - fire
Song
I have instructions in Russian ...
Slow cookers: model selection, features, reviews

Slow cookers: model selection, features, reviews

Manna
The slow ones seem to be similar, but they still have different temperature regimes. Some are quicker, some are slower. Ideally, first, each available mode would be measured in temperature, in order to understand what this particular slow is capable of.

Everything is the same with me as with Anya. I also think that, even though they are all from China, they must somehow show off.

Well, that's not an argument at all.
There is an instruction where it is clearly written IN ALL LANGUAGES: 1 - slow mode, 2 - high.
From operating experience, I have already said that this is true.
Why are you misleading people?
rusja
Mechanical Kenwoods have a toggle switch located so that the first button is Low - medium mode, second - High, high mode, and 3 - Warm, heating
maybe Russell Hobbs does the same, and boiling on High traditionally lasts 4 hours, if the pan is almost full

empirically confirmed that on RH the same

The instruction above Song laid out

girls and boys are better off looking not at numbers but at letters - they will not deceive - as the experienced ones correctly note - LOW - low mode, HIGH - high and WARM - respectively, heating and they can digitize as they please

but in general, maybe I will repeat someone's opinion, but here you need statements from all sides - slow is not just a miracle, but a wonderful miracle - who does not want to bother with cooking - especially if there are most meat eaters in the family - go ahead! slow! if you need to get used to the cartoon, yes you can run away to burn without baking, then it certainly will not run away in the slow, and it’s true - the soldier is asleep and the service is on - this is about the owners of the slow cooker, I bought my first slow cooker in the early 90s - one of 2 pieces somehow inadvertently caught up in our provincial town - in Sverdlovsk, make several parties * quiet cook boy * I didn't read the whole topic, but somewhere girls wrote about boys - so I joined the history of slow cookers - they looked at me as a complete fool and my parents and friends - and so she, dear, helped us out when we went to the garden for the whole day and in the evening she was waiting for us at home - a small - 3 l - hostess with a fragrant thick soup - they lived poorly - chicken legs and peas - but she was very simple products gave us yummy is still alive - now her mother will soon have 83 she is happy to use it now, of course, there are new models - kenwoods - but the build quality with that quiet little girl they have below is such an ode quietly, slowly, I gave out a cartoon right before going to bed - this is a mother in the family, she is multifunctional, mobile, progressive, flirtatious and glamorous, and a slow one - grandmother - leisurely, thoroughly reliable, too simple but tasteful and most importantly for grandmother, so that it is satisfying

Girls, and who washes the rim around the perimeter of the saucepan? It remains on the border of the liquid like a stuck rim. It is very difficult to scrape off. Maybe something like a metal washcloth is possible?
kirch
It doesn't wash with me either
Stafa
I scrub the multi with a spoon - very convenient. Then I wipe this rim with a swab dipped in vinegar and leave it for 20-30 minutes. Then I just rinse and FSE, there is no rim.

Hello everybody! Can you tell me the size of this Russell Hobbs?
3.5 liters.
Maryam-apa
Olga! Thank you! But I meant d: w: d, it’s very tense with a place in the kitchen, but I really want to.
Maryam-apa
Hello again! Nobody wants to answer me! While I was waiting, I already made an order, I'm sitting waiting ... Owners of Russell Hobbs please answer a few questions so that you can immediately use it. I read the instructions, found nothing.
What is the maximum duration of the modes?
Do I need to add liquid and what is the minimum amount?
Is it necessary to first bring the dish to a boil on a high setting, or even on a low setting for a long time, is the dish ready?
zhariks
Quote: Maryam-apa
But I meant d: w: d
Approximately 34x25x25.
Everything else is like other mechanically controlled slow cars.
Quote: Maryam-apa
What is the maximum duration of the modes?
Do not turn off manually yet.
Quote: Maryam-apa
Do I need to add liquid and what is the minimum amount?
Generally not required. Food (meat, vegetables) and so give a lot of juice.
Quote: Maryam-apa

Here I myself did not fully understand. It is definitely not necessary for meat. But for vegetables, IMHO, it is better either first or at the end to cook at a higher temperature (high). Well, on the hae, in principle, prepares faster.
Maryam-apa
Michael! Thank you so much for the detailed answer. Now I will wait for the saucepan.

I also bought myself a 6.5 liter kenwood slower on the weekend, at first I thought it would be big, but as a result, that's it. already made meatballs in sour cream and barbecue chicken, the result is great. my all are very happy with the result.

How do you make BBQ chicken? Please share
bukabuza
You can make not only chicken but also meat. I take 5-6 legs, 2 breasts. It is better not to put the whole chicken, otherwise the small bones will remain in the sauce.
1 cup BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/2 chicken broth, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp. l vostorsky sauce (if there is nothing wrong, but I like it better), 1st. l chili, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 1.5 tsp. l. thyme, salt to taste (I usually put it after cooking, and sometimes I don't put it at all). Put everything in a slow lid on the high setting 3-4 hours for chicken, 5-6 for meat. After disassemble with forks into fibers, put back in the overgrown sauce and leave for two hours, or better overnight. then all the sauce will be absorbed into the meat. Then I put it in a container and in the freezer. This dish is good both cold and hot.

This is a recipe for how slow? For the big one? for 6.5 liters?
bukabuza
I have 6.5 and it takes a little more than half of the crutch. I think a small one is also suitable, but you have to measure.
bukabuza
I forgot to write a whole piece of meat 5-6 kg.
marinastom
And will he fit into the pot?
bukabuza
it fits me, if that it can always be cut along.
marinastom
Need to try. But, of course, adjust for 3.5 liters. Yes Annushka?
Elena, thank you!
Maryam-apa
Hurrah! The saucepan has arrived! Beauty......

And again a question for the owners of Russell Hobbs. Answer please!
The instructions say that you need to warm up the saucepan for 20 minutes at "2" - high, the backlight will turn on. Load and if there is a liquid according to the recipe, then fill it with a BOILER.

Is this sequence required? I ask because nowhere in the recipes did it sound that first warm up and pour boiling water. Thank you in advance!
kirch
I do not warm up, but if you cook with liquid, then it is better to pour boiling water, it will boil faster
Maryam-apa
Thanks again! You can start the process !!!!!
marinastom
Maryam-apa, congratulations on your assistant!
Maybe someone will come in handy, let me remind you. It is very convenient to cook using a simple mechanical timer that plugs into an outlet. I have adapted to bet at night and do not worry about when to turn off. Naturally, if you do not need to switch modes.
Maryam-apa
Marinastom! Congratulations are always nice. Thank you!
I am very glad.I bought it in an Internet store, I have never seen it live, only pictures. I was very afraid for the size, but it turned out to be not so big, neat. But this is 3.5 liters (6.5 is serious!).
Mirabel
well, I had to get into this topic ...
I didn’t pay attention to it, thinking that my cartoon had a slow cooker mode and that was it. I do not need anything else. And I read you ... I should probably ...
I went to search on the Internet and saw a tip from a French aunt-She cooked something for 9 hours and writes-Bonjour new electricity costs for as much as 8 euros. Is it true? is she a fan of "eating" electro?
Allegra
Mirabel, did not notice this ...
But when I bake in a large oven, it is very noticeable
