Well, the regimes are named, but rice, soup is definitely "sotochka", no? In any case, the model is very attractive

Yesterday I decided to experiment with curd casserole.
I mixed everything that was in the fridge of cottage cheese with egg-sugar and a little flour (everything by eye, so I don't expose it with a recipe), put it in a ceramic saucepan and put it in the MDV bowl, into which I poured water. For some reason I decided to bet on Hai. In the morning (after 6 hours), the water boiled quite actively, and the casserole turned out to be melted))).
Tasty, tender, but slightly humid (still cooking in the "steam room").
I greased the saucepan with rast. butter, casserole fell out without question))).

Along the way, I also now use this device more often than others ...

Virgin, look what - Elbee Cook 25001 for 3 liters
Slow cookers: model selection, features, reviews
But I did not find it on sale in Russia In Ukraine there is

Girls - I really did not like this slow one with its device, despite the fact that it looks like a little lyalechka ...

It has no cooking time adjustment and cannot be made to work for more than 2 hours not on heating, but in the usual 90-100 degree mode !!! Only THREE hardwired automatic programs with unknown temperatures and that's it

- porridge - 28-35 minutes
- soup - 35-45 minutes
- stewing - 2 hours

That is, she does not cook for more than 2 hours, then she goes into Heating - it is generally somehow incomprehensible - from 58 ° С to 86 ° С - this is some kind of too large and ambiguous range
Of the time parameters, only delayed start can be set.

Now physics.
The pot is unglazed, rough, porous ...
I would have thought a hundred times - how, with a power of 550 W, to tear off the adhered from such a pot and remove the smell?
The pot itself is very low with a wide bottom - it is clearly impossible to pour 3 liters to the eyeballs into it.
It takes up a little more than half the height of the entire device - I don't know why, but it is placed not on the bottom, but in a thin tray. This pallet is suspended, as it were - about 5 cm from the bottom! Around the pallet, wires and springs are visible. Inside the pallet there is a pressing pimp, such as in all cartoons - a sensor.

And what can you do with this miracle?

Yes, it seems, but there are no such holes in the pallet in the Elby and I didn't really see why such a strange design. It turns out there was a small shadow somewhere, and I could not see it and kept thinking - how does it heat up?
Manna
In ordinary slow ones, the heating elements are on the sides, and in these from below. And so that it does not fry to the bottom, but the heat spreads around the pot and such a pallet is made. I don't know about Alby, but mine is very nimble, not slow at all, but rather a multicooker with a ceramic pot. Only heating saves. Perhaps alby is the same.
julifera
I'm confused - the bottom is such that it does not burn, but nimble - in the end - still fry?
And what about your gala watt and what programs? And is there a cooking time adjustment?

Yeah, fry as soon as the liquid runs out, and there is no shutdown when overheating
Mine is also 550W. Programs very good a lot, and everything about soup, porridge and rice. They differ in duration and slightly in temperature, but all are ebullient. Yes, the time is adjustable.
julifera
Well, at least the time is regulated, but then something this Elby is about nothing at all

Girls, a slow cell appeared for 1990 rubles. I ordered it for trial, but it will take a long time due to NG. Can anyone have one, share your impressions? Russell Hobbs 19790-56

And what's that?

Well that's it! I also bought a 3.5 liter slow bottle! Already cooked chicken, knuckle, buckwheat porridge in it. Everything is super!

Shank in dark beer. Recipe from the forum.
rusja
What does it taste like? like a stew or closer to baked?
Irene
shank is brewed in beer. So it turns out boiled, the fat is melted into beer. therefore, if you want fried, you must then bring it in the oven. This is what they do in Poland. The best thing is to brew in unfiltered live beer, not bottled beer.

Girls, I started reading you, from the end I go to the beginning ... And how is it that I still have not bought a single such saucepan? Tell me, does anyone know - Kenwood CP658, does she also have a ceramic saucepan? It's just that the description in 003. ru does not say about ceramics in relation to this model.
Svetlana62
| Alexandra |,
yes, the saucepan is ceramic, heavy, it rebukes everything very well. Large bowl, 6.5 l. , I cook jellied meat, borscht in it, I make cabbage rolls - simple and lazy, meatballs, carcass stuffed peppers, meat with vegetables or just potatoes, bake a chicken, a duck on the wire rack. Very happy.
| Alexandra |
Well, it must be the same - and the 707 model is 2 times more expensive and less volume. Where did you buy it? Long? In 003. ru they are now at 2900, is that inexpensive?
| Alexandra |
Since the volume is 6.5, it means that you can fill a little more than 4 liters as much as possible, right?
rusja

This is due to the electronic control of the pan
I have Kenwood 706 and 658 - I am happy with both and everything is used

Has anyone bought from this store? How is he?
Svetlana62
| Alexandra |, I bought in Ozone, less than a year ago, for about 2600 rubles. I fill it not reaching the edge of three centimeters. This is a slow cooker, and it is in Kenwood 658 that the boil is gentle, even at high setting. Nothing escaped or welded in it. Quite calmly, I leave it unattended.

I didn't buy. Several times I wanted to order something, they write, there is no delivery to your city.
| Alexandra |
And I did not buy anything on ozone, although I have been hearing about it for a long time. Is it okay there?

Thank you girls!
Ninelle
Manna, Mannochka, and from what miracle do you have this pot and pallet?
Ninelle
Lady`s and Gentleman`s, I am sitting in the bushes, reading, and I realized that I must not be allowed here. But it's too late. I went to a neighboring Temka as needed, as I urgently needed a cartoon. I wandered here, like by chance ...now I'm not sleeping, but I WANT a slow cooker
And the more I read, the more I want ... only I'm not quite in the subject, tell me, pliz.
So, given: a family of three (in the near future, the fourth will join - the grandmother will babysit the child, since it's already time for me to go to work). Diet food is necessary for everyone, the child understands this, I urgently need to lose weight, since after childbirth-HB, it has grown by size, or even one and a half. It is a must for my husband to lose weight, because it contains 125 kg. live weight, with an increase of 190, cholesterol goes off scale ... well, grandmother - hypertension, cardiology, overweight, and even high sugar.
What pot in this situation would you recommend? It is desirable to be able to do a lot, be smart, well-read, educated (just kidding), the presence of all functions of shutdown, protection, adjustment, delay, etc. is welcomed. If you won't wash yourself, so be it, we will.
Lerele
The slow cooker is a great appliance, but only in addition to a pressure cooker or multicooker.
I wouldn't have had enough of her alone.
Take a look at Shteba or Brand 6051.
Ninelle
Lerele, Shteba today I will already have

Manna, Mannochka, and from what miracle do you have this pot and pallet?
What pot? Which pallet?
Ninelle
Manna, see your message on page 244 of this theme, the one with the photo.
Manna
A! So this is not really a slow cooker, it is practically a multicooker with a clay pot. The heating element is from below, and not from the side like that of mendlenok. And the power is already 550W. Pot for 2.5 liters. Purchased in China. Manufacturer - Joyoung.
Ninelle
Manna. Beautiful thing. Do you have a slow motion?
Ninelle
I'm not curious, I just read here and I want a slow one, but no one advises which one is better to take .............
Manna
This "Pretty thing" I also use as a slow-motion heating. And I have no slow motion in its classical understanding.
zhariks
well, if you buy in Russia, then there are no special options: two models from Kenwood for 4.5 and 6.5 liters; and one 3.5-liter Russell Hobbs. Choose which volume is more suitable. Kenwood 4.5 liters is electronically controlled, the rest are mechanical.
Ninelle
Manna, clearly, thanks a lot. Boom to search and think, I looked at Yandex, but the choice is not great.
Ninelle
zhariks, so far I would like to take a smaller volume, and I read that Russell Hobbs is praised. But I like electronic control more. Do you have a slow motion? If so, what kind and how is it in use for you?
vernisag
Ninelle, look here Russell Hobbs
🔗
Ninelle
vernisag, yes I looked yesterday, it is written well, but who used that one? Well, or another ..
zhariks
I have Russell Hobbs. But I bought it just before NG. I cooked everything a couple of times.
Ninelle
zhariks and how did it seem to you for these couple of times? What did you cook?
