that is, you don't put butter at all? I have a similar model of the stove (although this is not so important), but without fats, bread crumbles very much !!! and on the advice of Admin (thanks a lot to her), I began to add more oil ... and the problem went away)))
Natusik
Domovenok, there was no oil in the recipe. I'm just learning how to bake ... I'll have to try adding oil. Thanks for the advice! although it does not really crumble.

Maybe you have good quality flour, if you don't put butter, sometimes it's easier to break bread than to cut it off
Natusik
Domovenok,I always sift flour, maybe this is the case? And my flour is of the highest grade, yes.

How to measure the weight of flour with a measuring glass if there are no scales? I seem to have messed up with flour.

What is Simple Yeast?
If we mean fresh pressed yeast, then 2 grams of fresh yeast is taken per 100 grams of wheat flour.

Hello, I want to share with you my modification of this recipe, since I also have Kenwood-350. I changed the recipe, while there was not a single pancake lumpy, as they say. First, I don’t put eggs in white bread (there is no such recipe in my recipe book that came with the oven). Here is my recipe for simple white bread in the order in which we put it in the oven:
1.Water 380 ml (I take warm, because I cook bread either on Saf-Levure yeast or on raw yeast. If Saf-Levure, then 2 tsp, if raw, then 9 grams. While the yeast begins to "ferment", I sift the flour.
2. vegetable oil (sunflower) 1.5 tbsp. spoons.
3. pour flour 600 grams.
4.Salt 1.5 tsp.
5.Sugar 4 tsp.
put on 1 kg, 1 program, the crust is dark, 3.30 times and that's it, bread is ready.
And now the recipe I changed.
1.water 380 ml. Everything is the same, only it turns out better with raw yeast, the crust is even, later I will add a photo. preparing the mixture. I take the bran, I bought a 30 kg bag, add it to dog food (very useful for my Caucasians) and add it to bread. I believe that these bran are the most natural product. So, bran 30-40 grams (40 seemed to my family tastier, but this is not for everybody), 80-90 grams of rye flour (I use "Aleika") and 480 flour.Put all the grams together, you get 600 grams, as it was in the main recipe.
2. oil.
3. flour mixture. Yes, I forgot to say, before adding it to the bowl of the bread machine, I gently mix all the flour with a spoon so that the bran and flour are evenly mixed with the white flour.
4.Salt 1.5 tsp.
5.Sugar 4 tsp.
put on 1 kg, 1 program, dark crust, 3.30 times.
And I make potato bread like this - I take water from potatoes instead of ordinary water. Onion bread - I fry the onion in oil and add 1.5 tbsp. spoons. Everything always works out.

Somewhere here on the forum I found a ratio, and I use it. 1 teaspoon dry = 6 grams raw.
