Julia, ask dad to do it. He will do even better than mine. I'll adapt mine and see the process of kneading the leaves HERE
Anyuta73
Yulia, well, the whole village watched the process
lappl1
Anyuta, so in our village you will not hide from anyone ... Checked!
YuliaKoro
No, maybe you won't hide there, but we are at our edge easily
And we drove into the city, and you were picking something there, An. I thought when I read that this thing.
I looked at everything, checked it out, but apparently I will not bother anymore, we will cope with a meat grinder. The folder is busy forever, he has a shed, then a house to paint, he has no time to deal with all sorts of things)) I'm so in a meat grinder somehow
How do you make the name stand out here?

And what am I doing there in the garden, no one sees))
I understood everything about the name, thanks Ludmila,
Tata
Ludmila, now I'm drying boxes with a leaf of fireweed in a 1: 1 ratio. Fermentation 5 h. Stupefying smell. There is no bread smell. In previous batches with prolonged, even too much, fermentation, this was not the case. now I will be the only way. In the evening I collect, the night is dried in the morning I twist, in the afternoon I ferment, in the evening I dry. I wound boxes + leaves, boxes + garden strawberries and mono boxes.
Last night, just came to the field, it started to rain, but I still collected a package of boxes and a package of leaves. Do not go back. To the delight, the leaf dried very quickly, not to mention the boxes. Much faster than washing. Although the fireweed has never been washed, I compare it with a washed cherry.
P.S. tell me in the oven you dry on paper or just on a pallet.

Tata, yes, the grainy smell of granules is only in clean boxes, and if a leaf is added, then no longer. It's good that you are trying to make different options. choose the one you like best.

I also collected fireweed after the rain the day before yesterday. Wrapped in cloth, dried quickly. Then I put it on dry. I had to shift it again, for 2 times they wilted.

I always put paper and dry on a baking sheet. So with any tea - it is more convenient to mix (without a spatula), lifting the paper and collecting the tea in the center. Then I quickly level the granules directly with my hands (it does not burn). In addition, tea can stick to the baking sheet. And from mixing with your hands, less crumbs are obtained than from mixing with your hands.
Darika
No, well, you all are! I'm worried here that I have prepared a little fireweed, and have not yet reached the hands of the gardeners, and they have invented something amazingly stunning!
I have no words! Now I have no sleep and no rest, no peace of mind until I taste this tea! Tomorrow I'll go to my meadows! I'll drop everything and go! My husband already looks at me like I’m crazy, says that soon I’ll start making tea from burdocks and quinoa

lappl1, Anyuta73I admire you, it’s necessary to have such an inquiring mind and curiosity, such hard work to not only make tea, but also look for new recipes and share with us!
lappl1
Darika, thank you for the kind words to our address with Anyuta! We got sick with this tea. I hope you enjoy it too. Come on, cook faster, or soon Ivanushka will be completely overwhelmed. Good luck to you ! Tell your husband that his wife is very normal - caring. This seagull will please everyone in winter.
Tata
Ludmila, for the first time I decided to make tea with a roast. Yes, I did not keep track, the smoke went. Now the batch is out. it's good that there wasn't much.
Anyuta73
Tata, the main thing is that not coals. Let it dry, put it in a bag for airing, and then for ripening. What other tea will you make ... Lyudochka once I also thought that I had ruined it, and then my favorite tea turned out to be. Try and do not rush to throw it away (unless, of course, it burned out and the apartment did not smell of burning)

When I do with a fry, I don't go far. I stir more often.
Tata
Anyuta73, no embers. a little bit on top and then not all the granules. I took them off a little and made some tea. The color is very rich, the taste and smell of strong tea and a little burnt sugar.
lappl1
Tata, so in the end we got a great tea. Why throw it away?

Tata, so here I am about the same
Omela
Luda, I have a report. I did 2 options at the same time:
1. Mix of Leaves with capsules, no exact proportions, but more leaves.

Ivan-tea Fluffy (from immature seed bolls)

2. Clean seed pods.

Ivan-tea Fluffy (from immature seed bolls)

Stated in a sheet for 12 hours. Spun it in a meat grinder once. The granules were strong.

Ivan-tea Fluffy (from immature seed bolls)

Dried for 20 minutes at 160, 60 minutes at 100C, dried at 50C. I dry the flowers separately for 50 seconds and add them for aroma and beauty to the already dried tea, before putting them in boxes for storage. Brewed immediately after drying. It was not possible to reflect in the photo, it is not visible in the sun, but the tea from the mixture (on the left) is much darker.

Ivan-tea Fluffy (from immature seed bolls)

Now about the taste. Pure tea from boxes has a floral-fruity taste and aroma. It reminded me of a linden blossom. From a mixture, it has a more astringent aroma. we liked it more. And the mixture of ivan-tea + boxes + cherry is just a bobmba !!!!
Tata
Omela, Oksana, wonderful tea. : rose: How long have you fermented it. And whether there was a bread aroma from the clean boxes. I ask because during deep fermentation I smelled very strongly of black bread, and at 6 hours almost not.
Omela
Tata, Thank you! Fermented in different ways (done several times) for 5, 7, 12, 24 hours. There was no bread aroma, it smelled fruity and floral when twisted.

that the more boxes there are in the tea, the stronger the smell of bread in the dry granules
Eureka, right, my tea smells like bread !!!! In early childhood, my mother worked at a bakery and she always smelled like that! By the way, I brewed tea, a beautiful color, dark, but transparent as a tear. Moreover, if you brew a little granules, then it is initially like green tea, such a transparent, yellow-green infusion, but if you remove the granules, then it is just like this: Velvet-amber. The smell in the original product is not strong, but pleasant. Taste with a slight sourness, there is astringency and .... something else that adds grace to this tea. I can say: this is the best tea I have made!
lappl1
Omela, Ksyusha, your photos, as always, are incomparable! Well, I generally keep quiet about the content of the report. And, most importantly, the tea was a success and made you happy. Thank you, Ksyusha, I'm so glad that everything turned out great for you.

Luda, thank you! I'm. to be honest, I have no idea how you can spoil this (I mean all) tea (of course, subject to the technology). I don’t bother with proportions at all. not at the time of fermentation .. as I have free time, so I do. It turns out all the time in different ways, but still equally tasty! IMHO

Gold words ! I agree 100%. Indeed, the tea turns out to be different, but the essence remains - TASTY !!!!

Ludmila, I have not brewed deep fermentation tea from mono boxes yet, but the same fermentation fireweed leaf + boxes + apple leaf + currant leaf already. For 500 ml of water 2 tsp. mix. It is brewed instantly to a rich dark, very beautiful color with a tart taste. The taste of currant and apple is not felt only by His Majesty fireweed. The smell of caramel. I love.

Banks of three liters. It's only "Fuzzy". As a man philosophically remarked, tea is not vodka, you cannot drink much. I have already prepared 9-10 kilograms. The family asks to stop.

Natalie, good evening! The photo was not inserted.
natalisorel
Well, I learned to insert photos
I began to make teas from boxes: boxes + ivanushka leaves + strawberry leaves, boxes + leaves + orange peels, mono boxes. The meat grinder spit without problems. I twisted the granules twice and dry in the oven.

Natalie, very beautiful granules turned out. And we do not grow fireweed, I do it only from the leaves of fruit trees and shrubs.
natalisorel
The aromas changed one after another, the mono boxes smelled of bread. The smells attracted his son-in-law to the kitchen, he began to ask for teas. I had to go straight out of the oven, and still brew half-dried tea for him. He sipped some tea and said that it was not in vain that he helped me collect the boxes.

AllaDoesn't fireweed grow in the Rostov region? And I thought Russia is full of him
francevna
In the Rostov region, it is listed in the Red Book. Once in the local news I saw flowering meadows in the northern districts of the region, but in the south I did not see it anywhere.

svetn, Svetlana, Blimey !!!!! This is a blow in the stomach, such a photo! These are the reserves! Well, exactly, they provided themselves for the winter. Thank you for taking a picture of your wealth and showing us! Well done!!!!!
Don't listen to your family! They don't yet understand what they are talking about. There is never too much of our tea. Will scatter to friends and acquaintances, you yourself will not notice.

natalisorel, NatalieI hope you will now indulge in photos of your tea! Thank you for sharing the tea making process. Very clear! And the tea looks very beautiful! Since the son-in-law liked it, it means that the noble tea turned out. The son-in-law will not deceive. Cook, Natasha, more health. there is very little time left. I went to the meadow today. You cannot touch the fireweed - he immediately opens his boxes. But I began to tear from the middle of the peduncle. It seems like it turned out without fluff to collect boxes.

Natalie, and you made tea without fermentation?
Tata
Ludmila, I want to try to make tea from the tops. We still have them. Do you think with fermentation or just scroll and dry. Maybe you already did, but I missed it.
lappl1
Tataprobably read my thoughts? I did. I am writing the recipe right now. Belated, of course, but let it be for the future - the photo is all there.Today or tomorrow I'll post it. I managed to make such tea - now they are gone. Today I went specially. Fermentation is necessary. I fermented for 3 hours, but more is possible.
Tata
Ludmila, tomorrow I will definitely go, I saw them 2 days ago.
lappl1
Tata, get ready for a long collection. They break for a very long time. And tear only the soft part of the tip. At first I tore lower, grabbing flowers. but there is a rough stem. better without it. And be sure to be sluggish.
natalisorel
Tata, All teas are made with fermentation, as the Tea Guru taught. I scroll through some of the raw materials, put them in a saucepan for fermentation. While I manage with another party, 3-4 hours pass. I send it to the oven for drying, and the one that I scrolled to fermentation. If you need to switch to something else, then the leaves are withered in the refrigerator. A saucepan for deep fermentation, I turn off the oven and turn it on periodically, so that it is always lukewarm. So I spin all day. I also noticed that the strong bread smell went off when I heated the granules harder. I have an electric oven, and the handle turns a little, sometimes I cannot determine exactly what degree to set. Basically I dry at 100 degrees, and then switch to 50. Dry until completely dry. Maybe it’s not right, what’s up to full?
natalisorel
Tata, lappl1, I want to give you the source of my inspiration. My son-in-law is a violinist, and he is engaged in the processing of classics in the style of "space"
lappl1
Quote: natalisorel

Natalie, right! but you still need to dry it in a bag later. Because the granules come out of the oven with uneven humidity - in the middle, the humidity, although small, remains. It is difficult to identify by touch. I understood this from mushrooms and apples. like you dry them to a crunch in the dryer. And they will stand for a couple of hours and soften again. So with tea - there is a risk of getting moldy tea in a couple of weeks. There were cases in girls. And already this year.
lappl1
Natalie, oh, thanks a lot! Is the son-in-law in the photo? Does he himself perform? Class! Give him our respect!
I love Adagio! I have a whole collection of it. Favorite performers - Gela Guralia and David Garrett.

Tata
Natalie, Thank you for the gift, I am very pleased. And about fermentation, I asked, because you wrote that you ran it and went straight to drying. Now it is clear. You have a continuous process.
Tata
Ludmila, Wonderful music. Recently a friend of my son bought me an acoustic system at the dacha and recorded such music.
natalisorel
Ludmila, in the photo is a son-in-law - Sergey Samoilov. It was I who put his Adagio on the Internet. I got really bad for it, but I couldn't delete it anymore. He plays the electric violin here. And in the performance of Garrett Adagio I don't really like how the melody he gets is "ragged". I don’t know how to explain it. In my mind, it is smooth, gentle without special effects. Gela performs it perfectly.
Gaby
Lyudochka, congratulations on the discovery of a new tea recipe, I bow low and admire. I am so glad that you made a new discovery for the whole bread machine and don’t even argue ... I am happy for everyone who has Ivan tea. I was on vacation in the village and ran a little through the fields, looked closely, saw similar plants, but realized that it was not that, it blooms yellow and not such flowers. True, I did not run around all the fields, there were other concerns. But I am very happy for everyone who can do this now.

Natasha, I liked your story so much and also SO liked the performance of this work by your son-in-law. I love this piece, this is one of those pieces of classical music, when you listen, tears come and you want to become better, cleaner and kinder. Give him a big Thank you, he performed beautifully and maybe made me a little better.
natalisorel
Vika, ABOUT! How did you think about my son-in-law's game! I conveyed your words to him - he was happy and immediately went to play Vivaldi. His power of playing lies in the fact that he does not change the harmony of the author, as individual musicians performing classics in modern processing do (including Garrett, Vanessa Mae). Some people simply throw out complex parts from the work, but Samoilov does not. Sorry for taking so much attention from the topic of Fuzzy. No more
