Dispenser for powdered sugar "Nordic Ware"

Bakeware Nordic Ware: purchase, features, reviews, recipes

Girls, help, the third day I can not open the lid on this dispenser !!!

Jammed tight ...

I don’t even know which side to approach from ...
Scarecrow
Crochet,
Get it wet. Figs with her, with powder: most likely moisture got in and glued with sugar. Soak it off and open up.
Crochet
Tuska, soaked in hot water three times already, does not help !!!

I have several Wilton forms. I like it very much. The large forms are very similar to the Nordic ones, only the coating is smoother.
The forms are just as heavy. I like very much.
Scarecrow
Crochet,

Are you opening it right? There are guide grooves that are 1 cm long. Max. 1 cm counterclockwise and straight up. Maybe you turned in the opposite direction so that you "stuck" the lid protrusions into the metal to death? So the places of these "fasteners" are sprayed with water (there is such crap - WD 40 grease, perfectly displaces water and lubricates). Under the lid, put it upside down - let it flow.
Also try it differently - quickly dip only the lid in boiling water. Literally for a few seconds. Immediately grab it with a rag and try to open it. The materials expand from heating and the lid should become "too big" by thousandths of a mm. Only for a few seconds, otherwise the body of the can itself will also warm up and there will be no point.

It will be useful to tap in a circle. Carefully, within reasonable limits, so as not to bend.

Crochet, Innus, how? Happened?
I'm worried!
Scarecrow
This Inca is a schemer. Then the people were already in a support group, and she dumped along with the bank))).
Crochet
Done !!! I opened it !!!

On the fourth day ...

I myself do not understand how I did it !!!

The last thing I tormented that jar with was liquid soap injected under the lid ...

Thank you Tuska , Thank you all my support group All of you my friends, for having you with me !!! I love everyone !!!

Ask what you want, I'm kind today ...

Scarecrow
Crochet,

Did you pour soap instead of VD-shki?)))
Crochet
Yes, nope, I just don't have VD-shki, but a lot of soap ...

Rada-dms, and why shake the cake out of paper forms? They are served in these forms, aren't they?
And sometimes I bake very high, in plain paper, I build up cans so that they look more like Italian ones.
Rada-dms
Here I boast, I got it on the edge, after all, charlottes are very gentle for this kind of shape.

Irish, thank you again for "enticing" into the purchase of such wonderful forms, I have 5 pieces. not tested. They create a completely different mood on the table! Not to mention the reaction of the guests!

I took Wilton's heart from Anyuta notglass. It is very thick and heavy. The non-stick coating is very good. Baking flies out with a bang without any lubricants. It looks like one-to-one baking, like the Rada-dms on the top photo. Now I want to buy one for myself.
Mashenka___
Girls, I saw your Nordic uniforms here and caught fire! But the price ... well, I can't give 45 euros for the form! Now I'm looking for analogs. Maybe someone is the same smart-ass economical, as I have already found analogues? I've seen a Stoneline shape with a stone coating. What is it? There is no way to touch, everything is on the Internet. I don't know how thick they are. And the German Ermer shapes also look good, but again the thickness of the shapes is not clear.
Maybe someone has already encountered it? Share your experience, please.
Masinen
Maria, these forms are expensive everywhere and we have here too. There are simply discounts on them.
Mashenka___
Masinen, yes, I perfectly understand that dear everywhere. Manufactured in America ...
But now I have already covered everything. In general, you can find a whole bunch of analogues, but there are no more special forms like Nordic ones.
Masinen
Yes, there are no analogues, therefore the price for them is the same. Maybe you can buy 1 piece and try it, otherwise you suddenly don't like it?))
On Amazon you can find less than 45 euros, I looked.
Mashenka___
Yes, on Amazon, depending on the form, from 32 to 55 euros.
I have baking experience (and a whole mountain of silicone molds that newbies usually buy), so I finally want a NORMAL mold to bake the cake evenly, not with the dried edges like silicone does.
It looks like luck smiled at me. Found a used lock shape for 15 euros. Yuhuuu!
And there are several interesting recipes on Facebook on their website. I'll have to try)
Masinen
Maria, the castle is beautiful, and even for such a price !!!
Mashenka___
Masinen, but I still have a question. Everyone writes that the form must be lubricated (well, this is clear, all forms must be lubricated). But on some sites in the description of these forms it is said that they are non-stick coated. Is it so or not? The question is, if there is a coating, how durable / scratch resistant it is.
Masinen
Maria, it is necessary and very necessary. Buy baking spray right away. They are sold on Amazon.
The muffin dough can stick if it is not baked, if it is wet, etc., etc.
At the beginning of the topic there is a video that tells how to bake in this form. Must see !!
Mashenka___
The question is not whether it is necessary or not.
The question is whether there is really a non-stick coating and how resistant it is to damage.
Z. Y. I watched the video))) I always grease the molds and sprinkle them with flour. I think the spray is unreasonably expensive.
Musenovna
I'm now using lecithin lubricant, I'm extremely happy, everything flies out.

With these forms it is not always enough to simply grease and sprinkle with flour, there are a lot of all kinds of bends and grooves. Moreover, you have a used form and it is not known how the previous owner treated it, maybe it was washed in the dishwasher, which is not recommended
Mashenka___
Musenovna, but not a question of lubrication !!!!
I'm interested in coverage!
Rada-dms
And after sprinkling, the form must be well cooled, and then pour the dough.
Musenovna
Maria, there is a coating, but I will not call it non-stick. Although yeast baked goods fly out with a bang, even without lubrication, and for muffins it is better to use a good lubricant. But the forms themselves are simply the best of what I had in my hands. The crust in them is perfect.

What for? On the contrary, I warm up))). They are in my cold pantry, I bring them in in advance so that it is not cold.
Mashenka___
Musenovna, Well, thank you! Still, there is a coating inside, and not pure aluminum))
I will buy a castle now and possibly a lily. I will try to limit myself for now))
Now I saw a new form on the site, which will go on sale on March 1, 2016. Fell in love))) Just a work of art.

Just a work of art.
Especially the one in the vase. I can imagine how to shake a cupcake out of it, and then wash all the mazes. And there will be a whole problem to lubricate
Mashenka___
Jiri, for this form, I would even buy a lubricating spray)
Jiri
Mashenka___if this spray always worked as intended

This time I increased the thickness of the dough and turned it over while the top was wet - everything worked out as it should

Girls, another very tasty recipe for our favorite forms from Sedne "Curd fluffy", thanks to Svetlana!
The form "Rosette" came out of the prescription portion, as it was specially measured. Only I overexposed them in the oven, they turned red.
