Cast molds of Nordic Ware cannot be washed in the PMM! Washing them with your hands is as easy as shelling pears (well, of course, if you don't fry the meat in them), soak them in hot water with a detergent, let them stand for 10-15 minutes and everything is easily washed off with a regular sponge, well, in extreme cases, you can walk through especially difficult places with a kitchen brush.

I thought so too, and then I read a couple of reviews on the German Amazon - it seems, basically, they bake, but they also make sweets.

I can't even imagine how to pick out these candies from there. For candies, silicone molds are still best suited, especially since you won't make 12 candies, but buying Nordic 2-3 identical molds for these purposes will be a little expensive. IMHO
