Girls, take to your company! Finally I got this miracle! Was subscribed to the notification a long time ago, but usually, while it arrives, "sorry, the product is out of stock"! And then I had time! Probably because it was early Sunday morning and everyone was still asleep!
I was a little worried, since delivery to us by mail, and even with an advance payment, but, surprisingly, the parcel arrived in a week, of which two days it was with us, in our small town, and sorting in the same post office where to receive, but they probably did not want to transfer them on the day off. So, Travola came at three !!! boxes! Two of which are really overwhelming, but the whole thing! When you first turned it on, there was a disgusting smell from the dryer itself, when you turn it on again, there is no smell anymore.
I have a Miracle Dryer, but it's simply impossible to dry anything in it! I dried the tomatoes for two or three days. Here it was necessary to dry the medicinal grass, dried it for three days, and the grass was not very wet. And then, I got Gravolochka, I must try it right away! I cut a 6-liter bucket of tomato, there are still 3 pallets left. There was nothing more, I cut a couple of bananas and a few apples. I put it at 16 o'clock. I got up in the morning - everything is ready, the time has not yet run out! Tomatoes are well-dried, bananas too, and apples are no longer dried, but dry and very tasty!
I immediately poured the tomatoes into a jar and poured oil, sun-dried bananas are not very good for us, but they still ate them in a day, instead of sweets, and added apples to the compote.
And yesterday, too, it was necessary to dry the grass, already more moist. I put it at 6 pm, I thought until the morning. But no, at 12 o'clock I went to look, and she is already completely ready!
In general, I am happy as an elephant!
Yes, I have a large one, for 9 trays.

Yes, I was really lucky, I waited a long time and at least twice a day I checked the availability on the site, and now it appeared! Even so, in the morning I began to check whether they were there or not, I saw, I began to place an order, and then only the notification came. When I ordered, they had one piece left.
Maybe you will be lucky, and there will be more Grasses on sale!

M @ rtochkaHere are the tips from the namesake RawMid Dream Vitamin dehydrator panel
Electric dryer cabinet Travola KYS-333B
That is, we dry the fruit at 55 ° C until tender. Bananas should be cut into slices 3 mm thick, dried apricots in halves.

How the drying process looks like on the example of Isidri

for the convenience of removing the finished product from the trays, it is optimal to lay a teflon-coated fiberglass mesh on the trays (according to the experience of drying in Isidri on original mesh and in Travola on "grill and oven mesh").

If the 3mm banana slices are dried for 17 hours, I doubt that something edible will turn out. Wrong infa.

The information is correct. The range is indicated there. The specific time depends on the load of the dryer, and on the moisture content of the raw materials, and on the humidity of the air surrounding the dryer, and on the temperature surrounding the dryer ...
Average:
If dried to powder - 17 hours. If you make jerky, then 10 hours will be enough. If you plug in intermediate steel trays from RawMID Dream Vitamin, then it will take 17 hours ...

it's banana chips. To prevent the banana from darkening, it, like chopped apples, must be dipped in acidified water for 20-30 seconds.

we get such chips-chips-chips that exactly correspond to the English translation chips = shavings both in appearance and in taste
For the first year I honestly cut the first batch of bananas thinly, it dries, of course, faster, if not keep it for 17 hours = I dry everything on MAX = but then like a piece of wood in my mouth and even slightly sweet, which is surprising.

Then she began to cut into 1-1.5 cm - optimal for obtaining thin dryers or dried jerky. Dried-dried fruits chew well, the middle does not turn into a pebble yet. It is convenient to put dried meat in porridge when cooking, they soften during cooking, give aroma and sweetness.

Cm in 3 or halves - such a thickness should be dried for a long time, and it is not necessary, I wither such a cut - all the relish is in the viscosity of the middle, this is already like a toffee, very nice.
Quote: OgneLo

What for? bananas and so because of their viscosity and sweetness do not dry quickly, but also wet them. They will become even more slippery, lay out such round pieces
Bananas, of course, darken a little when dried, which, in my opinion, does not spoil the taste and appearance. Moreover, apples do not darken well in an electric dryer, since drying is much faster than in the open air. Why acidify bananas? All their charm is in their banana sweetness.
But - who wants to mess with acidification - he wants

By the way, the more ripe the bananas are, the more they darken when dried, but the longer they dry.

I spread banana rounds with Tescom's spikes to remove sepals 🔗 = dry fingers.
In general, these tweezers are very handy for laying out something wet on the dryer trays.
The forceps are very dexterous in the hand, they are comfortable to work with.

Bananas are quite viscous, and the middle of the chips is very hard, where the sweetest is in the banana.

Quote: Irsha
the riper the bananas, the more they darken when dried, but also the longer they dry
That's right, because: the riper the banana, the more sugar it contains. Sugar in fruit juice, as the product dries, is concentrated, because water, unlike sugar, evaporates. That is, we get in every cell, a kind of "jam"!

When choosing the parameters for the preparation of dried and dried products, take into account the direct relationship between parameters such as:
- the thickness of the slices / layer to be dried and the drying rate - the thicker the slice / layer, the longer it takes to dry;
- sugar content and drying speed - the more sugar in the product, the longer it dries;
- drying temperature and drying speed - the higher the temperature, the faster the moisture evaporates and the product dries faster;
- drying temperature and taste of the finished product - the taste of a product dried at high and low temperatures differs from each other;
- drying temperature and content of nutrients - the higher the drying temperature, the less nutrients are retained in the finished product.
And please don't confuse "jerky" with "dried".

OgneLo, Marina, I did not ignore the recipe, videos with channel
Ezidri master
I have long been recommended in topics about dryers as a sample. Moreover, judging by this video, the thickness of the cut is not very 3 mm. at minute 2:38 it is clearly visible - at least 1-1.5 cm, the height of the tray wall is 2.5 cm.
My bananas, raw and dry, are one-on-one as in the video. Only I still sprinkle the slices after laying out with cinnamon and ginger powder - the smell when drying is the most pleasant, and dry bananas are very, very tasty.

I did not write that it is impossible to make powder - only that
Quote: Irsha
This is quite difficult to do.

I saw this video about 3 years ago, dried bananas to chips, however, I didn’t like that they had to dry for so long = so in the video, too, the drying time was 27 + 10 hours, I broke it in a stationary blender - some chips broke, which no, 3 years ago I did not have a very powerful CASO blender, it is possible that he would have done it. It breaks the groats into flour well.
In the Princess coffee grinder, sometimes I grind the dried ones, and it is also necessary that they be very dry, otherwise they just wrinkle

a very convenient unit - deep glasses, the power is also large 200 W, in a 2-knife - coffee, in a 4-knife - spices, dried dishes - herbs, carrots, beets, apples, plums, zucchini, eggplants, nuts - grinds into flour, cereals - like semolina

In the video, a different aggregate is used to obtain the powder, 5:18 minute, that is, crumbs first. This is a meat grinder with a "mill" attachment, you must admit that not everyone has it in the kit

However, the mill is exactly banana powder also right away and doesn't. We have to grind the crumb and sow more than once.

for 11 years of drying and drying, there are a lot of berries, fruits, vegetables in volumes, harvesting for a year in electric dryers
I have been drying for more than 35 years and not only in electric dryers (our old Soviet gas stove worked great, allowing both to dry fruits and vegetables, and meringues with high quality, and to bake any baked goods, until it was forced to be replaced with another gas stove in 2005, I did not knew that good oven performance was the exception to the rule, not the norm). Now, of course, we dry much less, since the number of consumers of the finished product has much decreased. There was a time when I also dried the flora, including keeping the volume and appearance. The main dryer we have for many years is the 3rd generation Isidri - Ezidri Ultra FD1000 equipped with 15 trays + infrared Ladoga. At home, now, Travola has been added, but we mainly make meat and fish in it, which until 2008, for objective reasons, was not relevant (the apartment had excellent ventilation and everything dried and dried perfectly, and so, at room temperature). Although fruits and vegetables, too, in Travola, we dry-dry ...

And it would never occur to me to cut a product into thick chunks in order to get a powder from it in the end ... Since a thin slice is easier and faster to dry with high quality than a thick slice. This is an axiom.

I've been drying for over 35 years

M @ rtochka
I've been drying for less than a year. I usually dried marshmallows.
Yesterday I decided to conduct experiments: 3 pallets with apricot halves, one with marshmallow, one with whole bananas, one with banana slices.
I put it all yesterday at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, with two hour breaks it is still drying
Temperature 50 g
only the marshmallow has dried! I took it off. The rest is not yet ...
Am I doing something wrong?
Irgata
Quote: M @ rtochka
Temperature 50 g
in my opinion, so the first, not a high temperature.
This is 50 * on the scoreboard, but inside it is much less, especially if the berries are juicy, the humidity is high, it cools the air inside.

If the apricots are juicy and viscous, they dry for a long time, especially if they are not unfolded, and spread in halves.
Last year I took them off dried on the second day - the whole 6-tray travolka was covered with halves, at 70 *, as usual for me, there were very plump apricots, the variety is juicy, large.
Well, just awesomely delicious jerky, I put them in the freezer - that's how all girls do with dried jerky.

But the year before last I bought some small and hard ones - they dried out in almost 2 days dry, the grass grass and 2 dry winds M5 and M8 (made of edible) were full - a sour variety, still there, dry ones are well stored, in I store them in banks.

Bananas, too, if they are thickly sliced, and even more so whole, will not dry dry, dried thick slices are very tasty.
I did not dry the bananas whole, but I really liked the halves along - the toffee rest))

Daria, above Marina-OgneLo brought videos from the channel Ezidri master - - does not dry quickly, yes.

The bananas were not large, therefore whole, also for the first time.

He loves them very much, believes that they should be fresh.

)) my mother was also surprised for the first time, until she tried it.
And bananas after heat treatment, as for me, tastes better.
And, as smart people write, they are absorbed better, and just like tomatoes with lycopene, they also acquire something good when heated))

Apricot marshmallow in the sun, yeah .. beautyaa ..
I made marshmallow from raw mashed potatoes a couple of times and without sugar, delicious. I just blended raw apricots and plums.

OgneLo
Apricot halves need to be turned "skin in, pulp out", so they dry better.
+ It is better to place the dryer where there is or can create a draft - this also contributes to more efficient drying. Drying ready-to-dry (soft, but no juice is released, the pulp is not smeared) is optimal at a minimum.
Daria, cut the bananas lengthwise into halves and quarters, turn the apricots with the pulp out.
Irgata
Quote: M @ rtochka
The bananas were not large, therefore whole
the sweeter center dries longer for bananas, so to speed up the drying process, it is better to cut them at least lengthwise.
Tanyulya-Tatyana has been putting out a video for a long time, where she dried whole bananas, for a long time, yes.

................
True, I don't understand the point of drying at low temperatures, it's easier then, and cheaper)) - to dry just in the breeze, without electricity.
................
Dry apricots and plums without turning the pulp out - there is not such a big difference in drying time, but almost 2 times more berries enter the wire rack at a time.
Once I tried it with eversion - the game is not worth the candle, my hands are just all in juice and sticky, and it takes longer to fiddle with unfolding. And so - she took out the bones, raised them with a machine at the plum, and quickly laid them plump on the grate.
As it dries, I compact the layout.
For vertical dryers it is very convenient = the grates are released, you can load them with the next batch.

If the berry is large and juicy, it will still not dry quickly.
