At the same time, the heating element, although turned off, continued for some time to emit the heat accumulated in it, hence this result. If, by the way, we take the arithmetic average of 112 and 118, it will come out just 115, and this is the boiling point of water for an overpressure of 0.7b or 70 kPa. From which we can conclude that my pressure cooker is working correctly, which, in fact, I had no doubts about. These are just experiments for the sake of clarity, to understand the processes taking place in the pressure cooker.
