there is no pressure sensor there and not even close.
I hope you still believe that there is a pressure sensor in Shteba.

Let's just say more accurately - I saw in the photo that he was stuck there.

But I did not see its correct operation, since the device does beautifully without its existence.))
By the way, this time no, but when then, for a long time, I was fond of frying in Shtebe on the Kasha-0.7 mode (I generally do everything on it, it's convenient for me to press this button), then the numbers 0.7 sometimes popped up on the display, and sometimes disappeared. Now for 10 minutes the top line was blank all the time. Are there versions of this behavior? I warn you - there was no cover and pressure, respectively, too.
Alex_Fil
Lena, I think the numbers 0.7 on the top line of the display should appear exactly when the sensor contacts open. If your cover is removed - maybe one version: the contact disappeared spontaneously, maybe from heating.
At my leisure, being a weekend, I will experiment with the sensor - I will try to open-close it forcibly when working without pressure, but on a program with pressure. At the same time, I will check to what temperature the heating element heats by 0.7 with the lid open.
And today I have to go to bed, tomorrow I have to get up early for work, sorry ...

Once upon a time, a very long time ago, I remember, I knocked over some pastries and turned on the mode again. Now I won't say whether it was 0.3 or 0.7, but I was amazed that, being already well-heated, the cartoon warmed up for a long, long time, not including the countdown. I got scared, turned it off manually, turned on the heating and saw an absolutely crazy temperature there above two hundred degrees. Maybe now I'm confusing it, but it's unlikely ... Plus, if we turn on the Heating from such a temperature, when heating is really required, then it scurries madly, without looking at the sensor - we can set +33, and the display will be +70. )) Why the assumption about the start time arose.

By the way, if someone suddenly forgot my long-standing advice on the correct operation of Heating without the above glitches, then I remind you that you need to turn off the program immediately after the appearance of a more or less close temperature and turn it on again. As soon as the sensor detects that heating is not required, the program immediately starts working correctly, not driving the degrees to such heights, but hanging out with a gradient of several degrees.) In general, I can turn on the Baking for half a minute so that the sensor gets warm, and only then put the Heating on yogurt or fermented baked milk (I don't heat the dough).

Girls, tell me. I have had the headquarters for a long time, but only today I decided to use the Vexation mode. She turned it on, and she beeps all the time. Is that how it should be? Will she signal this way for several hours now?
Venera007
Olga, your valve is most likely closed, open it and it will stop beeping. languishing with an open valve should work. I went through it myself :)
Violin
Hello, tell me, please, can anyone come across this and solve this problem. Today Shteba turned on the Kasha mode for 25 minutes, closed the valve, the cartoon started to work, but at some point it made a lot of noise, steam poured out both from the valve and from under the lid, from all the cracks. You could hear how everything was seething, it seemed that it was about to explode. BUT the countdown never started. I turned it off, blew off steam, washed everything. Then I set the vegetables to cook on the Vegetables mode, for the experiment I set only 10 minutes. The same story. What to do?
Masinen
Svetlanait looks like the ring is sliding.Try to wash well the lid, the ring with the fairies, degrease them and turn them on again.
Violin
Understood, Masha, I'll try with a new ring. My lid is always good separately and the ring too. Feel clean. We noticed that inside the cover of 4 bends of iron 2 are bent more than the rest. And while cooking today, we noticed that the gap in the front was thin, and the back more ...

Added Sunday 16 Oct 2016 5:55 PM

Isn't the sensor covered? After all, the pressure was crazy, but it turns out that it never worked ...
Masinen
Svetlana, the gap can increase, due to the lifting of the cover with pressure, if the ring begins to peel off, then the gap can also increase.
And it is better not to touch the lid itself, they do not bend anything, otherwise, no matter how it gets worse)
Violin
It's scary to approach her now))) but someone already had this, right?
marinastom
It happens. Each time it turned out that the ring was slipping.

Mmm?
Shteba First.

Multi-cooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL

Exactly (!) After 5 minutes the relay clicked, my light went out, which means that the heating element turned off. On the top line of the display, nothing lit up (in the sense, pressure symbols 0.7b). The oil had a thermometer temperature of 216 * C, and the temperature continued to rise.
Well, yes, I also said that the program works for hardwired time. I have shown exactly such temperatures on an overturned dough. Consider no heat sink, but it continues to scum.
And the heating element kept heating and heating ...

Neither my first one behaved this way, as can be seen from the photo, nor the current one, which turned off after 7 minutes and turned back on after a few minutes. There was no overheating and was not close. Hike, yours is very offended at you for something.

I have no reason to complain about my Shteba, for several years now it has been serving faithfully, it works correctly. True, I did not try to use it outside the box.
Maybe you have something special about Shteba - how can you show 0.7b on the scoreboard if there is no pressure in the bowl?
It happens, with some manufacturers, that the same model is released with a firmware update, the algorithm of the programs changes. A vivid example is m / v Polaris PMC 0517AD, but this is not about her.
I can only be responsible for my copy, which is in the kitchen. It would be interesting if there are risky users who want to repeat my experiments with the same initial conditions. Will the 0.7b display light up without a lid and will the countdown start on the program with pressure, if this very pressure is not in the bowl ...
The experience is valuable because it can be repeated, observing the initial conditions, and some result can be obtained that either confirms or refutes the conclusions of the previous experimenter.
Venera007
Violin, it's the ring. I've had this a couple of times.I wiped it dry, inserted it neatly and it worked :)

Promised S-t report on Shtebe dd2 XL.
Thank you very much right away S-t for help in purchasing the device of the required modification and a bonus.
2.5 months have passed since the purchase, I have never had a multicooker, I can only compare it with a cooking and a slow cooker with a ceramic pot. I practically stopped using the hob, and I use the Shteba day and night. There are no problems: the lid closes exactly, steam does not come from anywhere.
I bought it initially, so that I could quickly cook my soup and taste the sous vide as a bonus. I confirm - it cooks quickly and tasty: pea soup in 8 minutes with peas in the dust, only the moment did not take into account that it takes time to set pressure)) But then no fuss with removing foam, running away broth (my eternal trouble) and washing everything and everyone : I put everything in a saucepan, closed the lid, chose a program and went to do business until the signal. I'm glad.
I used it as a slow cooker, made chicken stomachs: I put it on overnight, in the morning everything is ready and there are no splashes around, like from a ceramic slow cooker + temperature that you can set yourself, in a slow cooker there are only 2 modes of unknown temperature.
Now I make yoghurt only in Shtebe, before - in the oven in glass jars. I heat the milk, quickly and tasty, the last time it tasted almost concentrated.
It is necessary to try to make the duck in Stebe at a low temperature for a full comparison with the ceramic slow cooker.
Made a sous-vid chicken breast and turkey breast, they are juicy.
Neck sous vide recipe Masinen, I even had to buy a tourist burner for authenticity))
There was a charlotte on languor and yesterday a biscuit from Tanyuli on porridge with pressure. I have never had such a biscuit, even in my fancy oven.
Thank you Stebe!

Lena, as far as I understood from what was written here, the temperature that is displayed is the temperature of the shadow. Here the ten has gained some temperature close to the set one, but this does not mean that the water (with suvid, for example) will have the same temperature, it will be lower. If I turn it off and then turn it on again, then after a while the ten time will be cooled by mixing the water in the bowl and the heating will turn on again. So I understand?
Now, if there inside it was possible to periodically interfere with this water, then I agree, it would be possible, when the temperature close to the set one is reached, turn it off and then turn it on again.
If I do not understand, write to me.
Bijou
Natusichka, well, with water and sousse it is not so relevant. Although it is unpleasant to see the degrees on the scoreboard completely different from those planned.)) And with the water in the bowl, at first they have little in common, yes.
But when they put fermented baked milk or yogurt, and even if they immediately put it in a bowl, without jars, or people are trying to break up the dough, then such a rude approach is completely unpleasant when the cartoon spits it in full for some time without looking at how many degrees it is ordered to support.

Of course, on the display we see the temperature of the bottom of the bowl, not the contents. If everything suits you, then you don't have to bother. I am annoyed by 88 degrees if I ordered 35, so I automatically press the Fry for half a minute before the low-temperature modes and only then select the Preheat temperature. If, when starting the program, the sensor shows a little more than the required temperature, then even Shteba realizes that it is not necessary to heat more, and now it will turn on only when the degrees drop below the set ones. The countdown will start from the moment of switching on.

Did I answer the question? Otherwise I didn't understand him too much. Of course, the mixing of water in the bowl occurs due to natural convection, you are absolutely right.
Natusichka
Lenochka, I probably asked a question incomprehensibly ...
I meant, wouldn't it turn out that if you turn off the Shteba before the temperature inside reaches the set value, and only heats up the ten to this value, then it will not heat up further?
Probably asked again incomprehensibly ...

Why shouldn't it warm up? Multi-cooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL The same thing happens with you every day, when the cartoon, at the end of the main program, switches to Heating. While the temperature is above seventy degrees, it stands and does not heat, as soon as it falls a little lower - it will turn on to maintain it for a short time. It will be necessary to detect which one.

Likewise.
This is generally a recognized method of preparing compote - overnight one minute at a pressure of 0.7 and pour warm in the morning. The minimum of body movements is the maximum result.

Evgenia, I put everything in at once, except for the lavrushka. I add it at the end and taste it for salt. I leave it for 10-15 minutes to cool. And lately, I only do it in glass jars, not screwing the lids completely.
Oh, I already wrote about the stew ...

Quite.

shlyk_81, EvgeniyaAnd for me SUP1h 39 minutes was not enough, the meat was somehow rubbery-dry, as if the pressure pulled out all the juices from it. There was homemade beef and chicken and a pork leg. Then I cooked up on the languor of 95 degrees for 1.5 hours. Next time I cooked again with the same set of meat. But I put on the soup for 30 minutes 0.7, and then, after automatic unlocking, I added onions, carrots, peppercorns to the soup and stewed at 95 degrees for all 4 hours according to the program. Half an hour before the end, I threw in lavrushka and dry spices (a bit of bread, utskho-suneli, basil, a little cumin). It turned out perfect, both meat and broth. All this, of course, takes longer, but if you do not need it urgently and quickly, then this is the result that suits me.
