Steba vacuum packer VK6.

Unlike the younger model Steba VK5, the novelty has a pulse mode button for "delicate" products, and the case is made of stainless steel.

Let's just say that the packer pleased both externally and in work. We did not test it with "wet" products, but just as we expected that the presence of a pulse mode would remove all questions about their packaging, and it turned out. More details ...

Nice white packaging familiar from other Steba products.
Vacuum sealers Steba

There is information in Russian and the PCT sign.
Vacuum sealers Steba

Instructions and vacuum bags included.
Vacuum sealers Steba

Wide sealing line and more convenient vacuum chamber with stops shifted to the far wall. The kit includes a knife for the film, it cuts well, but in everyday life it will probably be easier to cut with scissors than to look for a knife from the kit, but the manufacturer's concern pleases.
Vacuum sealers Steba

Control Panel. The third button is the long-awaited pulse mode.
Vacuum sealers Steba

Trying it at work.
We pack what came to hand. Very high pumping power, look what happened to the paper clip boxes.
In automatic mode, air is pumped out with the power set by the manufacturer. In pulse mode, you yourself can adjust how much air needs to be pumped out. Pumping out occurs while the button is pressed, as soon as it is released, the packer stops. It is very convenient if you need to pack, for example, strawberries and not turn them into porridge or when packing "wet" products, for example, meat for sous vide. Simply, stop pumping as soon as you see that liquid begins to squeeze out of the product and get to the sealing point.
Vacuum sealers Steba Vacuum sealers Steba

On the back there is a place for storing the cable.
Vacuum sealers Steba

At first glance, the Steba VK6 model seemed more interesting than the Profi Cook vacuum packer due to the presence of a "pulse" mode, but we will wait for feedback from real users.

The main thing is its beautiful design. Steel plate on the body, which is very easy to clean.
Yes, I think it will be the main competitor for. Proficca)

S-t, thanks for the presentation. Where can I buy it? I really want this

In retail soon.

Looked now in Yulmart there are packages for Shteba. I'll go buy it for a test, they are the same size and price as the Profikukovskys.
Masinen
As far as I remember, Shteba's bags are not corrugated.
Stebovich
corrugated at the stems. It's just that they have less "grain" than the Pro Cook.
ElenkaM
I wonder if the packages for V5 are suitable for V6?
Stebovich
Any corrugated bags up to 28 cm wide will do to fit into the vacuum chamber. Steba V5 comes with 22 cm wide bags.
ElenkaM
Thank you. Does the V6 come without any packages? Should I buy it separately?
Stebovich
There are packages in the kit. I wrote about this above in the review.
Roza_Irina
I look in the direction of the shipment packer. I also watched the proficiency. And I don't know what to choose. We do not sell packages for the staff. You can definitely use proficuka, has someone already conducted tests?
Masinen
Irina, yes you can use packages from proficouk!

Any bags with a textured inner surface. You can order it on ebee, but at Russian prices it is not cheaper. How are you, I don't know
Roza_Irina
I just never saw such bags in my eyes, so I asked.
We already have packages for the staff on the official website, but they are not available and there are no prices yet. But since the pictures have already been inserted, then they will be delivered.
While I'm looking for a better place to cook sous-vide, I have a pressure cooker without changing the temperature on heating, I don't want to buy a suvidnitsa, there is nowhere to put.
Maybe I'll ask for a gift for March 8. Alas, Santa Claus has already delivered gifts.

You are guided by the width. Any company. The main thing is that the width of the sealing of the device itself should be no less than the width of bags or rolls.

I already wrote in the topic about vacuum sealers, I will put it here, because I have a shtebik 6.

I will write how to save on packages:

It is necessary to cut off a strip of about 3-4 cm from the corrugated bag and put it into a regular (smooth) bag, aligning the edges. After that, you can evacuate in a regular bag, since the air is sucked out wonderfully and can be sealed.

I buy smooth bags for vacuum packaging products, which are very inexpensive compared to corrugated ones and have been using them successfully.
Roza_Irina
Thank you so much! How do you like him? Are you satisfied? I'm wondering if it turns out to pack pickled meat? I'm still thinking which one to choose.
Ariete
Roza_Irina, I chose, chose, and decided to take this packer. To be honest, at first I was a little disappointed when I took it out of the package. The description and packaging says: The ability to create a vacuum in special containers, but it turned out that he only works with bags, he has no tubes for vacuum in containers.
Otherwise, I'm happy. It pumps out air very well. The marinated meat can be vacuumized without any problems on a pulse mode, just leave more space at the top of the bag. It also solders with a bang. Only for some reason it doesn't matter to me that the price for packers is too high.
Roza_Irina
Thank you very much! I'll think. I was also interested in this in the description of the device The ability to create a vacuum in special containers It’s a pity not. Or maybe this pribluda is sold separately?
Ariete
I have already twisted it all, there are no holes, outputs-inputs, pins ... to connect something extra
Mar_k
Strange, but they write that the jars can be evacuated !!! On mine - Profikukovsky, where there is such a groove, where the air is pumped out, there is such a pipette on the side to the right - I did not immediately find it, so a tube is inserted into it with one end. Maybe there is an inconspicuous hole on the yak!

And thanks for the device with the packages !!!! I will do this, otherwise it’s a pity to throw away the bags that are no longer proud for the vacuum!

I don't really understand how it is. Does this happen in the place where 4 layers of film are welded? Do you understand?
Mar_k
I understand that just above this place is the place of adhesion, only in order to pump out the air

More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=307557.0
I looked at the photo, there are 2 pimples inside the vacuum container at the edges (left and right).
Since the manufacturer is too lazy, Try to put a tube on one of them (such are the electricians-cambric or tubes for droppers), so it will turn out to evacuate the containers. True, each company that produces vacuum containers has different valves, so the tip must also be adapted.
In any case, it cannot be that there is no air intake valve inside the chamber. Through something, the air should still come out.
Another thing is a big minus to the manufacturer, that in the description he wrote "the possibility of creating a vacuum." There is probably an opportunity, only you have to do it yourself ...

Girls tell me about Profi Cook PC-VK 1015 can work in pulse mode
I don't know about girls ...
It seems to me that Pro Cook made a more successful embodiment.
1. It just has weak and strong pumping power. You can do without the pulse at Shteba.
2. There is a mode of simultaneous operation of the vacuum and sealing and the mode with off the vacuum (for wet products)
3. In one model, there is definitely a function (not an opportunity) to work with containers and 2 of them in addition.

And you look, for interest, at the Zepter vacuum equipment.
Email a hand pump costs 9 thousand!
The same vacuum as yours - about 25,000!
Containers for 3000-5000. Not sick, huh? I understand that the quality is good, but not as much ...

thank you very much, otherwise I have already decided to buy it and here is a new steba.
And about the zepter, I am very indifferent to him, I think that the prices are too high

Very interesting and original. Need to try.
Only here I read somewhere that ordinary bags have micropores and air flows through them over time. And even during heat treatment, due to expansion, "leakage" can occur ...
Thanks for the "tip" anyway. Need to try.

I also had doubts when buying. I made a choice recently. But it was I who expressed my opinion regarding my choice, maybe someone else will express themselves differently later.

At Zepter, all prices are prohibitive in general. By the way, I have their vacuum system - they gave it ... The packages flew away very quickly and along with them my "delights" flew away to Zepter, when I found out the price at which I need to buy them. Well, the gift included two glass jars of 3 liters and the lid is universal - so I use them. But seriously thinking about a new packer with available packages

Bags are not ordinary, but for vacuum packaging, just not corrugated, but smooth, they are inexpensive. I don’t make a sous-look in them, because.I don’t know how they tolerate prolonged heating, but for storage it’s the very thing. Although you can take an ordinary dense bag if you need to pack which product for a short time.
And it is also written on Shteba's packages that food cannot be frozen in them.
igorechek
Tell me, are there an inscription "for vacuum packaging" on the smooth bags? It's not clear, honestly. After all, all packages for vacuuming must be exactly embossed so that it is possible to suck in air through which slots.
Or are they without labels, just thick?

Tamara, isn't it possible to use bags (rolls) from other manufacturers for the Zepter? After all, the principle of operation is the same and the main thing is that the size of the width of the sealer of the device itself corresponds to the width of the packages. After all, more affordable rolls (packages) are sold from Shteba, Profi Cook, Klatronic ...
Ariete
These are bags that are used for chamber vacuum equipment. In stores, for example, slices are packed in such. They are smooth. Are sold where packaging equipment.
igorechek
Thank you for the clarification. I'll have to look.

Igorek - this topic has already been discussed! And Zepter users answered that it is impossible! Their system does not accept other packaging.
igorechek
Aha, look!
Zepter is like bondage. And it’s a pity to throw it away or not use it, but money for expensive consumables is even more a pity.
Yes, the fashion has gone with many manufacturers - they put an ultimatum, a stalemate.
Mar_k
ElenkaM, congratulations! With him and in truth I looked at meat differently! Today I made a turkey breast, cut it into pieces, like vitchina and my daughter ate it with bread and cooked a hot sandwich - I didn't expect this from her! She kept telling me that she didn’t eat such meat !!!
Roza_Irina
Lenochka, congratulations on both the shtebik and the packer. Your impression is very interesting. While thinking about which one to buy. But it's already on fire, which means I can't be stopped. It's a pity I have a shtebik without changing the temperature on the heating, where I don't know where to try the sous-vide.
Tell me how he will pack the meat with marinade, very interesting.
Masinen
Irina, try in a heated cookie. At 1051 69 degrees.
Roza_Irina
Mashunya, exactly. Thank you, I completely forgot that there is such a temperature. In Brand 6051, you can probably still try it on a 65 * multibove. I will also observe the vacuum equipment. Until I chose which one I want.
ElenkaM
Something is not yet happy. Maybe I'm doing what's wrong. Grunts, cracks, but the air does not suck, and it solders very strangely.
With sous-vid so far bummer. I'll figure it out, although it's not clear with what.
Mar_k
So that the bag is better sealed, it is necessary to wrap the edges out before putting the food in, so as not to get dirty (then if you drop something to wipe it dry). indent from the edge of the package, to the place of adhesion about 3 cm
ElenkaM
Thank you, Marin. I will try. Probably need to adapt.
Mar_k
I did not succeed the first time. and when I put raw meat in, I press the Moist button (especially for raw juicy products)
