The heating elements must be turned on and off (there is a thermal relay), otherwise they will overheat and may even burn out.
But I don't hear clicks. I have 26th.
Byaka zakalyaka
Valentina, I have a 36 model, there are no crackles when heated, but I have them when cooling. Another half hour after cooking, there may be a crackling sound a couple of times. I think this plastic shrinks unclenches under the influence of temperature. Since two already have it that way, it's not scary
Mona1
I have a 26th model, there are no crackles, but there is such a growing rumble when heated. At first barely audible, and then stronger. And when the green indicator lights up, the hum stops immediately.
valuhka
Yes, I also have a hum. But if it clicks from time to time, I no longer strain (especially since I'm not alone). In 36 models for such power (1400), it seems to me that the plastic is "simple" Could be something more reliable with the expectation of high temperatures

Yesterday's macaros + a bit of teranula cheese + cut into pieces of her ham + a few eggs, a couple of tablespoons of sunflower oil, black pepper, spices to taste. I don't know how to eat this dish, we ate it with sour cream.

The most delicious always comes from recycling! Once - and a new recipe!

And most importantly, it is always different, depending on what is lying around in the refrigerator.

And today I tried to grill zucchini on the grill. In the end, they just boiled. For more than 10 minutes, they were still swimming in the juice. Further manipulations seemed pointless to me, and I fried the rest in a pan. Tomorrow, after removing the plates, I want to see how the heating elements heat up (evenly or not) and I'll try to make waffles. Well, if nothing works with them, then I will certainly go to the store for a replacement.
Mona1
Valyusha, well, the buters came out fine. And zucchini - they are so watery, maybe that's why it happened?
When you test without plates, do not touch the heating elements only with your hands. This is probably dangerous.
valuhka
Tanya, thanks for your concern, but I just wanted to look externally. After all, they should turn red and preferably evenly, and I'm somehow afraid to stick my hands into the included technique
valuhka
Sandwich maker 6 in 1 DEX DSM 26/36
I made cheesecakes today. The recipe is by eye. For 500 grams of cottage cheese, 3 eggs. 3-4 tbsp. l. a little bit of semolina flour, and whoever likes sugar. During baking, they puffed up a lot, but they "settled" in the plate. I sin on cottage cheese (homemade, fatty). You can't put it in a pan at all (everything floats). Would be dry, maybe the end result would have looked different. It tastes like that. And most importantly, they are not greasy (in oil). Baked for 10 minutes.
Before that I baked waffles with condensed milk. It turned out great. I didn't have time to take a picture.
Mona1
Oh, Valyusha, what a beautiful woman! Blush! Well, it seems to work fine, as it seemed to you. I seem to see from the result that the class.
But you looked visually in the 26th and 36th, these sandwich cells are the same in size and depth?
Olga VB
Oh, Valentine, what handsome guys turned out!
Directly dearly!
And what was the recipe for the waffles?
valuhka
Olga, these waffles-https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=248846.0... Tanya, in 36 models, the size seems to me more. Specially, I just measured one of the sides of the 36 model by 0.5 cm more, but at 26 it is a couple of mm deeper (visually). And it seems to me that the operation of the sandwich maker is also influenced by the voltage in the network (as in any technique). I have a piece on the heating boiler, which shows the voltage in the network, which must be checked during the operation of the device. On the same boiler I have an energy "rectifier" (litter, I don't know how it is called correctly). So, when the voltage in the network is low (mainly in winter (they include heaters and air conditioners in summer) it hums like a tractor. And judging by how often I hear this, the voltage in the network is weak. With the promised 220 it reaches 180 or even I still want to use the grill for the intended purpose. Maybe someone knows how to properly prepare vegetables for frying or some other secrets to eat. Hotza of grilled vegetables!

Previously, it is advisable to hold the vegetables a little in the marinade, then they will not be dry, fresh - and will have a beautiful color and pleasant taste

girls, now took her 36th and straight to the dacha. I want to try it, but such a heat - the appetite is completely kicked off, and eaters will not catch up before the weekend
You need to start with something easy, and then how will it go)
there is lavash, there is cheese, balyk, tomatoes and other green stuff. Has anyone made lavash sandwiches? or will it dry up, will it be a crouton?
maybe in two layers? well, I mean, four - two on top, two on the bottom?
valuhka
TatyanaThanks for the grill tips. In your photo, the zucchini are really fried, but I got some boiled ones. All the same, I'll go try to "finish off" them.

Somewhere I saw how the girls wrapped STE everything in pita bread (konvetrik) and cooked on the grill
Mona1
I recently googled about lavash in a sandwich maker: lavash rolls and pita bread with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes:

we used to make rolls and envelopes on the grill, but the cherished triangles are unknown to us tasty

A short marinade gives extra. moisture to vegetables, plus there is oil in the marinade, on which vegetables are grilled - not "boiled". It is the baking of vegetables that gives oil (like frying in a pan in oil). You do not need to fry for a long time either, give a high temperature and quickly fry under the plates, but do not press them hard so as not to spoil the shape of the vegetables.

Good afternoon, girls!

this is my first review on the internet
Thank you all, the great comments here helped me a lot to make my choice, so I can't help but share my impressions - maybe they will also be useful to someone.

So, an essay on a sandwich maker dex36.
It all started with a desire to buy a toaster. But: even the most compact places take up a lot and only toast comes out. Therefore, a sandwich maker - for the same money and toasts and sandwiches with a filling. And then off we go: there are a variety of models in the internet - my head is spinning ... I even reached the steba 4.4 electric grill (with a waffle iron) - a good thing, of course (2000 W power, temperature regulator, fat drain) - there is even a separate topic for him dedicated, however, since it is not cheap (about 2000 UAH), I did not dare to buy without "feeling".

And then somehow quite by accident I stumbled upon dex26 and dex36 - the variety of plates and the price made me happy right away!
In the online store I ordered 26 and 36 - so that at self-pickup I already have to choose: more or less

26th - compact, about the same size as the most common sandwich makers for 4 triangular sandwiches, which can be seen on supermarket shelves.

Stopped at 36th (1400W)
I must say right away that 36 is not as huge as it might seem. And do not be alarmed (like me) of the declared weight of 7 kg, the device itself weighs 2-3 kg, the rest is 6 pairs of metal plates in the kit You can store it vertically (not very confidently, but still worth it)

The toasted bread turned out great. The rest - I haven't had time yet - as I use it, I hope I will describe it.

I bought it yesterday on the outlet 🔗 by the way, there is now at 36 the price is exactly the same as on so choose where it is more convenient for you.
At the expense of how useful the thing is - only time will tell while the new one - of course I want to cook all sorts of sweets.
But, unfortunately, I rarely use a slow cooker (and then everyone fooled me together)

Why "fooled". You just did not grow together with the cartoon. It happens. I have two multi - Dex and Scarlett. So, I use one constantly, every day, or even twice. And the other - only if the first one is busy. And much of what is perfectly done in the first one is impossible or possible, but with crap in the other. So they just haven't found their own cartoon yet.
Mona1
solka, but do you know what is the most important thing that happens to everyone here after they have registered here and have been actively living for some time? This is not a number of thanks at all, although it is pleasant. I’ll tell you a secret, but it’s only possible that you, imagining what awaits you, run away from the forum.
I immediately thought of a thought when I saw that you just registered: Like, she still does not know what awaits her and that life BEFORE the forum and After she starts walking around Temko, it will change dramatically. For several years at the forum I bought all kinds of equipment stock, but my mother and I have not bought it in our whole life. And I heard about many devices for the first time and found out what it is and bought it only here. Airfryer, or the same multicooker (and now I have 2 multi-cookers), and AG, a bread maker, and a baking stone, a yogurt maker, Berner's graters, etc. Not to mention a bunch of small things like all kinds of cleaners, cutters for dough, pepper grinders and jars. The device addiction virus is contagious, horror. And we, sitting here, are practically all infected with it. So if you decide that you need it, then get ready that the finances of the family will go to the "unnecessary" needs in the opinion of the household members who do not understand anything. And that often you have to act on the sly and hide your acquisitions in the lockers, and then, if anything, make big eyes and say: And this was given to me ... So save some money and practice making round eyes.

Olga VB, Olechka, forgive, sho in your Temko here I write all sorts of garbage. I won't do it anymore.

Olga VB, Olechka, I'm sorry, I'm writing all sorts of garbage in your Temko. No more
Nothing "bullshit"!
Everything is very fair.
Only in all families in different ways: mine, on the contrary, constantly says to buy and try different things.
And after crawling through the forum, our "newcomer" will not only find a bunch of recipes, including for a multicooker, but also learn to save time with the help of all sorts of devices. And when her relatives taste all this, they will also offer to buy something else useful for their digestion.
And the issue of gifts for holidays and birthdays will be solved very simply.
I, for example, use a slow cooker, like other devices, sometimes rarely, sometimes often, but I have not regretted either of them.
As for "where to buy".
It seems to me that it is better at the dealer, i.e.at Daxline. I also took from them.
especially since they have discounts now, right?
And they send them all over Ukraine.

Mona1, Olga VB, that's all, everything is correct, every word. And about life Before the forum and AFTER, and I rarely use the multicooker, sometimes often, but I adore it, because, hanging here for half a night, I already understood its simply limitless possibilities. Today I received a parcel from Daxline - I ordered a blender (for mommy as a gift) (there is a special offer - a discount on the next purchase - 10%, and my next purchase will be a sandwich maker), and ..... and ...... (in a whisper ) already ordered a ham maker. In general, as my husband says in such cases - "Ostap suffered ..."
Olga VB
Tanya, and what kind of ham?
Actually, I have a white-sided one, but I started thinking about biovine, what if it's really more convenient? Then white-sided will go for a gift ...

Sone4ka, how, were there any experiments? I saw this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in....0 and remembered about you.

alas and ah
Yesterday my hands didn't reach, but today I read the instructions, wiped the panels, noticed that the top panel was somehow not completely fixed, but I read here that the assembly is not very high-quality, so I was not particularly surprised.
I turn it on - I hear an unpleasant smell. But the instructions say that when you turn it on for the first time, it's normal, so I didn't really worry.
In a few minutes I open it, and taaaaam ...
molten plastic, exactly where the panel adjoins the plastic. I turned it off at a run, took out the panels quickly, pulled out the top with difficulty, it got jammed, and now I can't insert it at all (((
now I don’t know what to do with it. What was it?
in the morning I will call the service center, I hope it will be resolved.
upset, no words ((

Mona1
Did the socket snap into place? Maybe it didn't fit into the groove and the heat from the heating element went to the plastic? I also have sockets for sandwiches, for some reason, they hardly fit in, I'll put it in for now, so I'll mentally say all my obscene vocabulary. Some of the girls even asked her husband to cut the irregularities on the panel so that it would fit well.
By the way, why go to the service center? This is an exchange technique - Dex. You have to give it to the seller, he will arrange everything and you will be given a new one. Although some shops are cunning and send to the service center for an opinion. But if they took it in Deksline, then there it is necessary to carry it to them, I have already clarified this issue. Just don't tell them that something is badly inserted there. Tell me - I did everything according to the instructions, but this is what happened.

In our city, the dexline office was closed ((
I bought on the "outlet" through the Internet. delivered through the "tehnotoku".
I might also have thought that it melted due to the fact that it was poorly snapped, but the plastic melted from two sides: at the top - in the area of the clips, at the bottom - in the center
the lower one is even stronger, but this did not affect the fixation in any way, but the upper one, and one is the right one, does not snap into place.
Mona1
Well, then this is definitely theirs joint. You contact Technotochka, according to the correct procedure, they should accept without service and send back to the Rosette, service centers accept only large Dex equipment for warranty repairs, and all small exchange equipment, regardless of breakdown. Do not worry, everything will work out.

Just take a warranty card, a sales receipt, a passport, just in case. And if they immediately change to a new one (although it is unlikely, usually, paperwork), then check it on the spot, just plug it into the network, see if it melts. Maybe this is such a defective batch. True, in the same place, according to the instructions, it is necessary to lubricate the panels with sunflower oil for the first time. You can't go with butter. Well, at least check the panels, see if they all close.
Sone4ka
today phoned "Rosette", explained the situation. The service manager requested a photo of the receipt, nameplate and defect.
Then they called back and said to send them to Kiev for examination, delivery at their expense.
She said they will figure out what the defect is.
examination - a week. Will wait
Mona1
Well, I think it'll be okay. A week is not much. Everything will end quickly and you will be with a new sandwich maker. Everything will be fine. I've already taken 3 pieces, they all work, mmm.

Ol, beautiful, even, what kind of recipe did you make? And I haven't made waffles yet. In an old Soviet waffle iron there is often a recipe, so proven for decades, but they come out flat and thin there. once while the hot ones are rolled up. I just can't understand what is the essence of waffles like yours? It means that some kind of filling is put into these "nests" - condensed milk or whipped cream and berries, right? Or can you just eat them?
Olga VB
Tanyusha, follow the green link in the previous message - there is a recipe.
And the essence of thick waffles is that they can be soft, they can be crispy, and they can be both soft (in thick places) and crispy (in thin ones) or have a crispy surface and soft inside (depends on the recipe and technology).
In the nests you can put any cream, jam, jam, berries, ice cream, condensed milk, cottage cheese, whatever.
And you can do without everything, like a cookie.
