Yes, my steam also went from the side ... and the lid shot straight ... it's strange, but how then to bake potatoes in it?
Kirta
Well, I'm chicken wings, I baked all the buzz, I just poured oil, there was no liquid
Vishenka999
Girls, if you set the temperature to more than 100 degrees and the liquid is inside, the cartoon tries to create pressure, so the lid is thrown back.
lsveta33
Take it to your ranks, I finally bought a little white 503 (before that I had a pressure cooker with a mule 4000), I was worried about the thickness of the bowl, the manager did not know, but the sticker says 2.5mm, it seems like it is, I just can't weigh it ... I hope to quickly figure out the recipes, I have already set sour milk on cottage cheese at night.

So, wait ... if the temperature is 100 ° C, and the mode is without pressure - the valve is open, the lid is closed. Is the pressure gaining? Doesn't steam escape through the open valve?
Vishenka999
At 100 degrees, water boils under normal conditions - we cook without blocking the valve, only by closing the lid.
But if you need more than 100, this is more than the boiling point of water, in order to create this temperature, the cartoon gains pressure, and the valve is not closed here, as a result the lid opens.
voxy
I don’t understand how to set the tempo and time on the BAKERY! ((((((((((((((
Ami
The temperature on baked goods does not change (it changes only on frying and multi-chef). And the time is like everywhere else - press the delay / timer and + - set the time.
Kirta
Manna, no, the steam itself drains - I checked, but in the baking mode if a lot of liquid does not cope, I did not open the lid, but puffed and spat

I understand correctly that if the temperature is set to 105 ° C, the valve is open, then the generated steam does not have time to exit through the valve and begins to lift the lid, which not fixed to the body?
Vishenka999
Manna, something like that. Due to the accumulated pressure
Sandy
I don’t know my lid has never been thrown back ... once the liquid was almost a full pan, so steam poured not only from the valve, but also from under the lid a bit on the sides of the tempra was 120.
At a low temperature, 100, 105 does not throw anything away, and steam comes from the valve like in a multicooker, from the sides there is no.
And condensation does not spill all over my table, but only specially checked into the drip tray (after the girls' comments) with different amounts of liquid, put the cartoon on a white paper towel, well, unless a speck of a five-kopeck coin ... maybe the drip tray is not installed correctly. ... I do not know...

Girls I have it only in the BAKING mode ... it seems like there was not a lot of liquid ...
Who knows how to bake potatoes in a cartoon ???? so what would be with a crust ???
Manara
Good afternoon everyone! The third day I have this slow cooker, today I tried to cook semolina porridge: a multi-glass of semolina, two water, four milk, three tablespoons of sugar and a little vanilla. She ground the semolina and sugar, poured in water gradually, baked milk (what was in the refrigerator). I put milk porridge on the mode, as a result, this porridge boiled over, I could not open the lid, all the semolina got into the blocking element ... (there were less than half a bowl of products). I had to disassemble and clean everything, Monday morning began with nerves ...I even thought that I would give it back to the store. Who knows why it happened, chtoli milk is incorrectly selected or mode ??? Thank you in advance.
Sandy
Manara, you did everything right, but in this pressure cooker the weak point is milk (the valve runs away and clogs).
She is good for everyone except milk, personally, after reading the topic, I did not even try to cook anything dairy in it (another pressure cooker and a slow cooker can handle this), but the girls adapt and cook. Read the topic, where there were recommendations for milk porridge.
Manara
Sandy, thank you, my husband is very fond of milk porridge and the multicooker was bought mainly because of them, I read the reviews on the m-video website, where I was going to buy it with bonuses, the reviews were mostly positive, damn it. Now I'm thinking - maybe I can exchange it for another ... Yesterday I cooked millet porridge in milk - the milk curdled a little, but at least it didn't run away. I'll try to cook the cereal again, if there is the same song again, I'll return it to hell - all the positive impression is gone.
Sandy
If the cartoon was bought mainly because of milk porridge ..... I would rather return this one while there is an opportunity and bought one that copes with milk without "dancing with a tambourine" around it.
Like in others, I threw in the food and left, opened it - I got milk porridge, even at a delayed start, at least right away, and you don't need to dilute the milk with water or think about its amount, there doesn't even matter a whole pan, nothing is going to run away and rises above its level by a maximum of one centimeter.

Manara, actually, you did everything right, but this is a pressure cooker and there are some nuances. I, too, once the rice porridge ran away and clogged the valve, after I danced around it to clean everything ... I also did not want to cook porridge in it, I have another Panasonic 18 multicooker, in it the porridges are perfect, but cook for a long time, so I still got used to cooking in this one, nothing else ran away. I cook cereal from one multi-glass, 3 MC of milk, 2 MC of water, salt, sugar to taste. A little before reaching the top of the pan, I smear a strip of butter and put on the "milk porridge" mode, rice - 20 minutes, millet - 15 minutes, after the end of the program I don't let the steam down, it will come out in 10-15 minutes, and everything can be opened and eat. There are no traces of milk on the lid, let alone the valve. Try it again, it's a pity if you have to return such an assistant only because of milk porridge, in all other respects she is a miracle as good, you just need to get used to and observe some of the nuances of cooking in a pressure cooker, nothing complicated, believe me. Unfortunately, I didn't cook semolina in it, I can't order it here, but I think the principle is the same. Good luck, try to make friends with her and she will only please you)))

Observe the nuances in this particular pressure cooker. In my other pressure cookers (this is my third), the milk does not even try to escape.

In general, this Mulinex is sooooo good for everything else, I confirm the words of Larisa
Larra
Sandy, I agree, I didn't have a pressure cooker before, so I can't compare, but in all other respects it is very good, even in baked goods, and pies and muffins, and charlotte and bread, everything is fine, and I'm generally silent about meat and vegetable dishes, quickly and delicious. So try it.
Sandy

So try it.

Everything has been tested for a long time for that and Larisa was bought, I have already tested it up and down, and I have something to compare with, so my reviews about her are motivated by comparison with other pressure cookers, I write all the pros and cons as they are.
I have written :
Quote: Sandy

By the way, on "baking" the bottom of the biscuit is fried more than we would like, but on "pizza" it is better.
Sandy
I liked Mklinex because it, like a pressure cooker, has the function of "frying" "yoghurt" and especially my favorite program "multishef" and these functions are not available for all pressure cookers, or rather, only some have.
It's bad that she has little time, you can set only 4 hours maximum, for example, if you simmer at 95 degrees, then I would like more time, here I like the little white one more because there is "longing" and I also do not have enough "heating" for " multichefe ".

And it is absolutely not clear, what for in "yogurt" already 24 hours is absurd
Larra
Quote: Sandy
And it is absolutely not clear, what for in "yogurt" already 24 hours is absurd
That's for sure, it would be better if the "multishef" time was increased to 8-10 hours. I still will not try to cook porridge on a multishefe at 95 degrees, probably in time the same as in a regular cartoon ... have you tried it?
Sandy
I don't cook milk in Moulinex, but I cook milk porridge and oatmeal at 93 degrees in Polaris. I think in Mulinex you can also cook like this, only the time will increase, since the boiling very light bubbling begins after 15 - 20 minutes, respectively, and the cooking time of the porridge itself should be set at least 1 hour so that the cereal has time to crush well, i.e. cook as in in a multicooker and not like in a pressure cooker, the lid will not block either. Go chtol experience
In other pressure cookers, my milk is cooked in 15 minutes.

I went to try it ..... and there is milk just right, then I will unsubscribe
Sandy
Quote: Larra
I still won't try porridge at the multishef
I was struck by a guess you asked about ordinary porridge? no, I cook on "rice / cereals" and at 95 degrees stewed potatoes with meat for 4 hours ... it turns out super, but if I had added time it would have been better or at least left on heating
Sandy
So, I took 1 liter of milk 2.5 fat + 1 incomplete multi-glass of rice + 3 tbsp. l. sugar + salt to taste. She threw the butter about five minutes before the end of cooking.
The porridge turned out superb, boiled and not trying to run away anywhere (you can see it from the pan), but it took 1 hour.

So that Manara you can cook milk porridge for your husband in this way. True, in this way it will not work to leave the porridge on the heating (you can turn it on yourself after the end of cooking), and you will not be able to cook on a delayed start, since these functions do not work in the "multichef".

While I was writing, the porridge was in the cartoon and thickened very much, as for me it was possible either less rice or more milk
Sandy
I found it in Moulinex, as it is a big LACK for me, it does not save the program when the power is turned off (that is, we are preparing and the light went out). this is my first multicooker in which this function is absent

We put on a delayed start to cook ... they left or went to bed ... the light went out ... and we were left without food, because Mulinex stupidly turns off and that's it

Sandy, please tell me, how much liquid was added to the potatoes? I think that if the lid is not blocked, then it is possible to simmer without liquid, well, or quite a bit for "juiciness". I like baked potatoes more, like in a Russian stove.
Sandy
Liquids (I add sour cream, mayonnaise or cream slightly diluted with water) literally a little less than one quarter of the volume of potatoes (I don't like stewed liquid), but do not forget that the lid does not play a role here, whether it is blocking or not, it does not block at 95 degrees. depending on the liquid.
But I close the lock so that the valve is down. But at any time, if you need to look or mix, it opens (not blocked).
Selena S
Thanks for the answer. For myself, I want to pick up a stewed potato recipe for this SV with a minimum of liquid, because I also like drier. I tried it on Stew, but there the liquid almost does not boil away, now I will try it on Multichef in your opinion, and I also want to try potatoes on Plov, in Panasonic 18 I really liked the result.
Sandy
Quote: Selena S

After all, you can set the same pace at the "multichef".and to achieve the same result, it seems to me that 95 degrees will be

Girls who just bought this cartoon, I am writing for you. This is my 2 mule, it was taken almost because of milk porridge, because in the old mule they always burned. I can say that I cooked semolina in a mule 1 time and realized that semolina is definitely not suitable for this mule. Faster and tastier on the stove. And so I cook porridge almost every day - rice, millet, oatmeal. They NEVER burned or boiled away, there were no problems with the valve. The proportions of cooking these cereals - 1/2 ms of cereals, 300 ml of milk (I always have 2.5%), 100 ml of water (I have a baby Agusha), a little salt, 1 tsp of sugar, a cube of cream. oils. I grease the bottom with oil a little, then pour everything and mix it. For reference - in 1/2 ms millet 70g, rice 80g, oatmeal (which is cooked for 15 minutes, not 3 minutes) - 43g. Millet cook on the Milk porridge mode - 15 min, oatmeal - Oatmeal mode 8 min, rice porridge - Children's menu mode 20 min. At the end of the program, steam is released by itself. And after about 10-15 minutes I open the lid and put it on. The porridges are not super liquid, but not thick either. In terms of quantity, it is somewhere between 1.5-2 servings, depending on appetite. I tried to cook corn porridge 2 times, but it has the property of sticking everywhere, so I rarely cook it. Proportion - 1 / 2ms of cereal (70g), 350 milk, 100 water, salt, butter, Milk porridge 15 min. So, try again. You may be taking very large portions. I concluded for myself that it is better to never use more than 800 ml of milk there (this is when I made baked milk and then cleaned the valve with a wet cotton swab). I also often stew meat and vegetable stews, everything is super. I cooked borscht several times, super. But I cook broths on the stove.
Larra

Julia, why broths on the stove? In a mule, such rich and transparent broths are obtained, and you do not need to remove any scale, everything remains on the walls. As in the recipe book, the "cook" mode is 30 minutes, and you're done, well, if the meat is tough, then you can add time ... or you just don't like it? Sorry for the curiosity, just curious)))
Sandy
Yeah broths are very tasty, especially meat - bone and transparent. Aspic too

Larra, I cooked in a mule 2 times and I didn’t like the taste, and even in 30 minutes I didn’t cook anything, I always cook the meat completely defrosted. Then I also don’t like to wash the lid after the broth in the mule, there is no super scale, of course, but the lid is still greasy. On the stove - 1 broth 5 minutes after boiling and pour it out, then cook for a long time. I remove the scale 2 times and then it is gone. It’s not overhead for me. And I already cook the borscht in the mule itself, this is super for me - I put all the vegetables, poured the broth and Soup for 15-20 minutes. So that's it

Girls! Good day! I am slowly mastering my assistant mulyu. I'd like to learn more about the multi-chef mode. Please share the recipes. So far I have tried all the modes, I really like everything, though I have not tried to make porridge in it yet, I read and was afraid. Thank you
Jula62 for clarification on porridge You are all such aces! I'm just learning.

I have a one-year-old child and we are slowly switching from ready-made commercial milk cereals to our own :-) I bought a very small corn grits (like semolina) with a specialty and cooked 1 to 2 in water, so the porridge turned out to be thick and formed a crust from below, and cooked for only 3 minutes. Tomorrow I'll try to pour more water twice. Well, I can't sort it out with cereals :-) I need a liquid consistency - the child does not chew yet and spits it out if a lump gets in
Kirta
And the taste of broth and it turns out very rich - for an amateur

Girls, who has a proven rye sourdough bread recipe? In 2 days my sourdough will be ready and I want to bake bread. In principle, I wrote myself a recipe, but it will only be tried. Usually baked with yeast.
Larra
Jula, I baked this kind of bread in our mule, this recipe was taken as a basis
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=91879.0
for which many thanks to the author, such breads are beautiful, I made some changes on my own, as it seems to me insignificant, try it, it turned out very tasty, I did it twice already, from this amount two full-fledged loaves are obtained, I divided the dough in half and baked in two multicooker, in moulinex and in Panasonic, both are delicious. So you can reduce the amount of ingredients by half, if you only need one loaf, here is the recipe.

Wheat rye bread with rye sourdough.

Ripe rye sourdough (I have a semi-finished sourdough from our forum) - 300g
rye flour - 200g
wheat flour 1 grade - 200g
premium wheat flour - 400g
water - 480ml
salt - 20g
sugar - 1 dec. spoon without top
flax seeds - 1 tbsp. l
cumin seeds - 1 tbsp. l

1. From all the flour, sourdough, salt and water, knead a soft dough (since I don't have a bread machine, I immediately added all the additives in the form of seeds and kneaded with handles), and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place.
2. Knead the dough a little again and grease your hands with vegetable oil to form a bun.
3. Put the bun in a slightly greased one. butter the multicooker bowl and turn on the "yogurt" mode for 2-3 hours (I kept it for 3), then carefully open and see the state of the kolobok, the dough should at least double, and just close it carefully so that the dough does not fall off.
4. Bake on the "baking" mode for 40 minutes on one side, then turn the bread over to the other side and "bake" for another 20 minutes.
5. At the end of the program, take out the bread on the wire rack and cool it under a towel until completely cooled.

It turns out very fragrant due to the added seeds, and I also liked it because there was no special fuss with it, I kneaded the dough, put it on proofing and forgot, then transferred it to baking and that's it. I hope I wrote everything clearly, if that ask. Delicious bread for you.

Girls with one-year-old kids, when we were also a year old, I remember that we still had to eat small things, although we had teeth. I can advise you to cook the porridge in a mule and then transfer it to another container and grind it with an immersion blender (it will take 1-2 minutes), you get a homogeneous mass. Now, one-year-olds can eat this and there will be nothing to spit out
Kirta
Jula62, yes I am a blender, but if I use a rice blender to get glue ...

For a kid, I remember the rice in a coffee grinder first ground, and then cooked .... a long time ago it was 14 years ago it turned out something like a "baby" rice.

Blender - is that a problem ?! It's time for them to learn to chew after a year! I grind the soup with pounded - he chews, but does not want rice, I already have it with a fork, but he refuses. If people have a hand blender, then no problem. You and I do not know what kind of kids the girls have, it happens that there are not enough teeth by the year. Therefore, why say that they already need to chew, you never know who has any problems ...I didn’t grind anything at all for mine, but just kneaded the porridge on a plate like a spoon. Girls, cook the rice just a little longer, and there the rice in the milk will be tender and you won't have to grind it.
