In this CF, and not only, there is a wonderful program - "Baby food".
I don’t know why they called it that, but this program perfectly cooks milk porridge and, moreover, small portions.
Without butter and milk dilution with water.
I always cook only in whole cow's milk. No problem

Anna, thank you so much !!

I have such a problem: there is an old MV, in principle I am happy with it, a good workhorse Vitesse 576. At one time I dropped the bowl and bent it, the inner coating broke off. I found my own bowl and bought it as a replacement, but out of fear that I would drop it again and ruin everything, I bought two more bowls of the same size, one thicker ceramic, the other aluminum, for cooking with bones
I use CF actively, both at home and in the country. And already tortured to carry it back and forth. The husband says, let's buy a second one. And I already wanted something more sophisticated. But I have cups! So that they did not disappear, I began to look for similar ones. It turned out that it is not so easy ...
In the end, I liked the RMC 250, I fell on my heart, the displacement of the bowl is the same 4 liters, outwardly it seems that the bowl is similar in shape. But I couldn't find the exact dimensions, neither on the stores' website, nor in the official instructions, direct secret data ...

I think I'm lucky! The bowl is exactly like this: height 13 cm, diameter at the top 23.5 cm, diameter at the bottom about 20 cm. The bowls should fit!
Thank you!

And what about small portions?
OlgaGera
shushara, Elena, porridge per half measuring cup. Half portion.
Small portions run away because there is little liquid, and the program is designed for a certain volume

How does the RMC-260 differ from the RMC-250?
Alex_Fil
Elena, besides the model number, they differ in many ways, they are different.
Different bowls.
250th - 4 liters, 260th - 5 liters.
The 250 has a control on the lid and touch buttons, the 260 has a control on the case and mechanical buttons.
The 250th has a removable plate under the lid together with a sealing ring, the 260th has only a removable defoamer plate. The silicone O-ring under the cover is not removable.
There are other subtleties ...

Redmond RMC-250, Pasta program. In the instructions, the feature of this program is described as follows: "The countdown of the cooking time will start only after the device reaches operating parameters (after the water has boiled). ... After the water boils, a signal will sound. Open the lid and lower the food into boiling water, close the lid until it clicks. Click the "Start / Auto heating". The countdown will begin ...".
So that's it. Until the sound signal, i.e., a slight squeak, everything goes as described. But after closing the lid until it clicks, something goes wrong. Button "Start / Auto heating"you press, but no visible changes occur and after a short time a geyser of steam, foam and splashing water bursts out of the lid !!! heating mode after the end of the program.
Question: How to understand that the second part of the program started working correctly and there will be no geyser?
P.S. I experimented and, as a result, found that the beginning of the "Macaroni" program is 120 degrees. Of course, this way the water will boil, but if after pouring pasta into boiling water, the temperature does not automatically drop, that is, after the second press "Start / Auto heating", we will obviously get a geyser.

Do I understand correctly that, unlike a multi-cooker, in this multicooker, you can program several temperature / time modes in a row without intervention?

If a program has several tasks, can only one multi-cook reprogram them or can only one?

Hello, my friend has this multi and she cannot cope with it .. sets the program, highlights the time, progress, the water boils (pasta for example), and the time as it was initially remains (it still seems to be flashing), like the progress bar .. what's wrong or marriage?
