Please note that the number of folds before ventilation can affect noise.
It is better to lay ducts from the hood to ventilation, rather than a corrugated pipe (if only in a straight line)
Natusichka
Anastasiawhat kind of boxes? Generally without a pipe? if there is a photo, show me, please.

Sorry for the long answer.

There is an ordinary corrugated pipe: 🔗

Earlier I wrote about the hood that I bought. Now something inside me tells me that I no longer want her.

Those that were recommended to me here, here, in Ukraine, I do not find on sale.

What to do? Which one to choose?

Hood TEKA TL 6310 B, only the color is not black, but stainless steel.

Hello everyone!
I choose a hood, I have already picked up 3 options, but I cannot decide between them:
Shindo NORI sensor 60 W / WG
CATA Podium 600 AWH
LEX Selena 600 white

Can anyone come across them? How quality are they?
Mona1
Girls, I looked after such a hood, SIMFER 8630 SM,
How to choose a cooker hood
I like this design, Turkey, max productivity is 500 cubic meters (my kitchen is 9 meters, ceilings are 2.5). Can someone say something according to this model? They write that it is quiet, in the characteristics the maximum noise level is 53 dB. And how it really is. And in general, if it is enough for my kitchen volume, I want to drive at the minimum speed of the three available.
There are other hoods of this type with glass in our shops, maybe someone will write something about these models?
Samsung HDC6255BG
Avex GS 6040 X
HANSA OKP6541GH
ELIKOR AMETHYST 60 IX
KRONA Sabrina PB 600
DARINA Roof 604X
SCHAUB LORENZ SLD DE6801
I have never had a hood, but I read that it is undesirable to put an adapter from a larger diameter of the outlet to a smaller one, and here almost all hoods have a 15 cm diameter of the fitting, only in one some 12 cm, and the hole in the ventilation grids 12 and 10 cm is sold with us, so it turns out that you still need an adapter?
And another question for installation. Our stove will not be under an exhaust hole in the wall, but on the side about a meter, and in addition, a gas pipe runs vertically between them. We do not want to make a corrugation, but plastic boxes, but how will they bend around this gas pipe? Is it bad for good traction such bends?
Bijou
Mona1I don’t know what to say .. Drawing is almost always a lottery. I've chosen, chose once, and the purchased Samsung turned out to be noisy. True, it pulls well, but it has a comfortable exhaust.
Yes, every turn of the channel eats away some percent of the thrust. But what if there is no way out? ((In principle, on a narrow winding canal you risk losing up to a quarter or a third of the power, and you still don't know what kind of exhaust canal in the house. Maybe completely clogged or not designed for forced circulation? subtleties with these hoods.
According to reviews, there are also quiet ones, only they cost a lot of money. And on a budget, either quiet or productive.))
Mona1
Bijou, Lena, thanks for the tip. All this is such a smut, and if only the hood, we started repairs in the kitchen, we ourselves do what we can, we need money for the hood and furniture. And you want to be well and not expensive, but worthy. In general, some kind of golden mean.
Bijou
Tanya, yes, what a review ... So, a set of words. My most basic advice in such cases is that if it is possible in live stores to turn on the hoods in the showcase, then this is very desirable to do. Of course, the absolute loudness of the noise cannot be determined this way, in a huge noisy room, but to compare relatively a couple of hanging specimens nearby is quite possible. And also take with you a thin magazine or at least an A4 sheet - on classic fireplace options, you can bring it to the grate and see what comes out of it. Again, the indicator is purely comparative, but usually people like it.)) Just look that there is nothing behind the bars and nothing in general interferes with the exhaust, otherwise sellers like to shove instructions behind bars. It is clear that then almost does not pull.))

Happy shopping!
Mona1
I have a specific city. For the last three years, we have sold everything that was previously in abundance in our stores, and then most of these stores closed. And in those that remained the choice is small. There are many local online stores, and there are many there, but they bring goods from Russia and often on order, there is no way to touch in advance. But you're right, you have to go to the live shops from the rest, well, at least look at something there.))
Chizh
Well, how did you manage to get something? It's a pity I didn't have time to help. I used to work in household appliances, I can tell you something
Mona1
Yes, we bought this one, 🔗 there are few reviews, but they write that it is not noisy according to reviews, some kind of silent engine. It has not been installed yet, it looks pretty, repairs are underway, I hope that everything will be fine at work, although the company is certainly not top-notch.
Chizh
Well, okay, the top ones often increase the price for the brand's popularity. So don't worry))
Elena Tim
Girls and boys!
Timon and I really need collective intelligence - advice is needed.
We have covered the old Siemens hood. It would seem, order a new one and use it. But it turned out to be not so simple. The fact is that the new hood must correspond in all dimensions to the old one, and this is not only the width and depth, but also the dimensions of the metal casing that covers the pipe, and even the height of the panel itself (where the buttons) must also match (we have 7 cm) ... Why is everything so strict, you ask? Yes, because we built the hood into the headset, that is, there is a false cabinet on it, and above it, the hood pipe cuts through the roof of the headset itself. So it turns out that a centimeter is more or less - there will be either a free hole in the roof, or the casing finally won't fit into the cut hole. I, in fact, why am I writing so many details: to prevent the legitimate in this case questions, such as, what exactly did you run into Siemens, because there are other hoods that are quite worthy for themselves. As you can see, we simply have no way out.
So, there are two hoods similar in size - Siemens LC 67BE532 and Bosch DWB 06W652

Siemens

Bosch
How to choose a cooker hood

What, in fact, was the problem with us: the manager of one of the stores took an active part in "our destiny" and tried as best he could, choosing models exactly in size. We, of course, out of habit, chose Siemens (after all, he worked for us for many years), but the manager discourages him to the fullest, offering to buy Bosch, they say, how much he works, so many customers call them, in an attempt to return the broken Siemens already after 2-3 months. We, of course, got scared and decided to take Bosch. But, just in case, they called a familiar master of hoods to consult. Imagine our amazement when he smashed Bosch to smithereens, saying that in the last six months he only does that he goes on calls to Boshi. He says that this is a rare havno, which has not been worth the money for a long time. Well, we are, of course, out. Whom to believe? What to hope for? And what the hell is going on?
Friends, if you have at least some useful infa on Siemens and Bosch hoods, please help me decide! We urgently need it!
The final decision needs to be made tomorrow, because without the hood we are cranky (because we don't have general ventilation, and in winter you don't open the windows too much to ventilate a hundred times)

Yes, I don’t argue before, but now if you make an order with them, they will start to sniff out any "no name" and when you ask them head on if you have a product that you need / have been ordered, they start to drive mu-mu and tell all sorts of fables ... and they keep prices and assortment of "necessary goods / equipment" so as not to go down in Internet search engines.
Quote: Elena Tim
Lud, and what exactly did you screw up?
Lenochek, I hope I answered your question ... if you want, check it out, place an order now and tomorrow you will listen / learn about the new super-duper hood, that after their fables you will leave everything and don't even look towards Siemens / Bosch
P.S. Lenochek, I am for Siemens +1, do not ask the current why ... the answer will be blond Because Gladiolus
Elena Tim
Lyudochek, but the fact of the matter is that they have both hoods in stock, they will grind, and will be delivered at any time. And vice versa, they mess with us, they themselves are looking for everything, and we have been twisting their brains for two days and cannot choose, damn it, due to the fact that they scold one thing, and the master another.

Well, okay, forewarned is forearmed. In any case, it is helpful to know what to expect from them. So thanks!

Aaaaaaa! I, vashchet, also for Siemens.
Umka
Hey, I will give my little blonde analysis why do they offer you Bosch ???
1. In Moscow, Bosch can be found in 17 IM, and Siemens current in 3
2. I would trust the master more than the managers of IM
3. Make an order tomorrow for Siemens for 17 tr. and we'll see how it ends ..... they won't deliver it to you new for such a price, if in other 3 IMs (you hear, Karl, the presence of current in 3 IMs) and the price for it is from 35-37 tons.
Elena Tim
Agreed! Tomorrow we'll find out everything. I will immediately come running here to tell you.
Umka
Agreed !!!
Belka13
We have Siemens built-in - it has been working since 2013.
tana33
Elena Tim, Helen, everything is elementary, the seller receives a different premium for each unit of goods, the premium depends on liquidity, on the entry price and so on
that's what the premium is for, then they will sell hard

quite right, because the main thing is to attract a client, and then you can talk about another product
and the client, perhaps, will have a tick in his head, in this IM the prices are lower and the next time he may come here again
Elena Tim
Well, in general, we called five more stores, they say all around that this one concern produces, so choose what you like best. Damn, drop dead "helped"!

Elena Tim, Helen, it is clear that one concern. But for some reason I personally like Siemens more with its design than Bosch. And the Germans, by the way, too. And in Russia, sellers say, they like Bosch more. So don't be afraid, everything will be fine
Elena Tim
Oh, I really hope that everything will be fine. Otherwise, I really don't want to waste money when it's already tense with it.

Elena Tim, Lenochka, it is clear that there is one concern. But for some reason I personally like Siemens more with its design than Bosch. And the Germans, by the way, too.
Siemens of German assembly in Germany itself is more expensive than Bosch of German assembly.
According to information from the Internet (I lost the link), when the Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH GmbH) concern was created, it was agreed that Siemens AG products would be positioned more elite and expensive than the products of Robert Bosch GmbH.
Siemens products used to have innovations that were later extended to Bosch products.
Siemens' product lines have models that have no analogues at Bosch. For example, I know that Siemens has models of hoods with a built-in TV, which Bosch does not have at all.
In general and in general, we can say that Bosch is a little more consumer goods than Siemens. And, naturally, more of this consumer goods is produced and imported than Siemens. This does not mean that Bosch products are bad - quite the contrary! But Siemens products are usually more reliable and more expensive ...
Belka13
Kapet, Siemens in Russia is also generally more expensive. If only by the action you can catch something
Mandraik Ludmila
Well I ran to watch entot Siemens with a telecom, it is necessary to change both in the kitchen.
A few years ago, my sonny fried the cutlets so much that the hood and the corner at the TV were slightly deformed by fire. But both still work
So I'm pulling with a replacement, it works, but here is such an excuse - 2 in 1, but the price is ... Not better individually, for that kind of money you can buy several hoods and a bunch of TVs
