Cooking and experimenting in the kitchen is a great way to express yourself. The WISH Maestro IRC 9430 KS induction hob in the shape of a joystick from Teka, a manufacturer of appliances and sanitary ware for kitchens and bathrooms, is designed to reveal your culinary personality. The futuristic design makes the model with four cooking zones not only unusual, but also easy to use, and the set of functions makes you think that the future has already arrived - at least in your kitchen.

Teka Wish Maestro IRC 9430 KS. Joystick induction hob

Teka WISH Maestro IRC 9430 KS belongs to the induction type: heating occurs due to the effect of a magnetic field on the bottom of the cookware. This makes the hob very economical to use and completely safe. The thing is that the glass-ceramic surface itself remains practically cold during operation - it is impossible to burn your hands, and the panel body and trim elements are not exposed to temperature stress. It is also important that it is very easy to care for such a surface, because spilled liquid or oil cannot burn.

“Many housewives do not know which cookware is suitable for an induction hob, believing that finding one can be a problem. In fact, there are no difficulties with this, even an ordinary steel frying pan will do - the main thing is that the bottom is perfectly even and flat. Maximum efficiency is ensured by special cookware for induction surfaces with a ferromagnetic bottom coating, which is easily identifiable by special markings. But aluminum or ceramic products will be useless - they simply will not be able to heat up. There is no need to be afraid that the wrong saucepan will ruin the hob: thanks to the built-in sensors, the heating will not turn on until there are suitable dishes in the working area, ”says Aleksandra Khanukaeva, Lead Marketing Manager of Teka Rus LLC.

Scroll of the heating temperature, which is carried out using the touch slider control panel. Individual programming of each zone allows you to set not only the power, but also the cooking time (up to 99 minutes). If necessary, you can use the Power Plus function and for a while set the power for the selected zone to exceed the nominal value by 70%. All information is displayed on a digital display - so you won't get confused in the settings. If there are small children in the house, you can use the sensor lock.

The user has four working zones of different diameters and powers: 145 mm (1.4 / 1.8 kW), 280 mm (2.3 / 3.7 kW) and two 180 mm each (1.8 / 2.5 kW) ).Two zones can work in sync with the same settings thanks to the Synchro function. For each zone, the function of maintaining the temperature before serving is available: the dish in the pot or in the pan will remain warm as long as necessary. If you have to temporarily suspend cooking, it is convenient to use the Stop & Go function - after that you can automatically resume the process, saving all the settings, including the timer.

Teka Wish Maestro IRC 9430 KS. Joystick induction hob

A useful feature - iQuick Boiling (fast boiling, plus 75% of the rated power) - is provided only for a zone with a diameter of 280 mm. This function is useful when cooking pasta, cereals and eggs. The system will automatically determine that the water is about to boil, a sound will be heard - which means it's time to prepare everything you need for cooking. After 30 seconds, a second signal will sound - it's time to load the food into the water. At this point, the system will switch the timer to chronometer mode, which will show how long the food has been boiling.

“The bright design with the use of black beveled glass rightfully makes the Teka WISH Maestro IRC 9430 KS hob the main decoration of the kitchen, but the advantages of appearance are not only there. Thanks to the unusual shape, the heating zones are not located one under the other, as in square hobs, but on one smoothly curved line. This makes the process of cooking several dishes very comfortable and safe - for example, you don't have to reach for a distant saucepan through a frying pan with hot oil, ”adds Alexandra Khanukayeva.

Installation

Installation with cutlery drawer

If furniture with shelves or a cutlery drawer is to be located under your hob, then a dividing panel must be installed between them and the hob. It will prevent accidental contact with hot parts of the hob.

The hob must be 20 mm below the lowest point of the hob.

Electrical connection

Before connecting the hob to the mains, make sure that the voltage and frequency of the mains correspond to those indicated on the nameplate of the hob attached to the bottom of the hob and in the Warranty card and technical data sheet, if any. These documents must be kept together with this manual throughout the entire service life of the instrument.

The device can be connected to the power supply either through an all-pole disconnect switch, or through a power cord with a plug and socket, if after installation it will be freely accessible, in accordance with the rated current of the device and with a contact distance of at least 3 mm. Thanks to this, the hob can be quickly turned off in an emergency or just for cleaning.

Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with the hob or oven body if installed under the hob.

Cookware detection

Induction cooking zones have built-in cookware detection sensors.

Thanks to them, the heating does not turn on until there is no cookware on the zone suitable for induction cookers.

If a cooking zone is switched on but there is no cookware on it, or there are cookware installed that is not suitable for

induction hob, then on the power indicator

a special symbol will be displayed, meaning “no dishes”.

If you remove the dishes from the working zone, the heating will automatically stop, and the indicator will show the same symbol "no dishes". After you put the dishes back on the selected zone, heating will automatically resume at the same power level that was previously selected.

The pan detection time is 3 minutes. If no suitable dishes are placed on the heating zone during this time, the heating zone will automatically turn off. On

the corresponding power indicator instead of
the “no cookware” symbol will return to 0. When finished, be sure to turn off the cooking zone using the touch panel.Otherwise, you could accidentally place cookware on this heating zone within the next three minutes, and it will turn on by itself. Don't let the unfortunate
cases!
