Marin, I'm jealous of you)) all the same you have a cool grill !!
Well cheesecakes on a waffle surface - cool !!!
And the potato cutlets are super! I love cheese cakes and potato cutlets.
Make a recipe for cutlets))

Thank you, Masha! Our grills are super! Both plates for a change - well, the prices would not have been there then, everything that the hotz was prepared, although we are preparing more than the manufacturers announced!
Okay, I'll do the recipe!
By the way, the cheese pan had to be made with flour and the dough was steeper than I usually make for a frying pan. And then the first 'cheesecake' lumpy, or rather spread over the surface, had to be cleaned!

Differences in the plates. In 4.4 there is for waffles, and in 95 there is a flat plate.
Well 4.4 is assembled in germany and the coating can withstand the use of iron objects. At 95, a softer finish.
And so they are both good)
I, too, could not choose if I chose between them)
But I initially liked fg95)

Masha, maybe it's better to transfer this whole collection of grills (yours and mine) to 1 page, 1 post - to write there, as a review of Steba's grills
Are they functionally and in management very similar?
And if not, then maybe for each a separate topic?

In general, they are similar, differences in size and in plates, removable somewhere, somewhere not.
I think maybe one topic is enough, otherwise Shteba has soooo many grills !!! And there will be sooo many topics)
The only thing is that there is a barbecue grill, so maybe it's worth making a separate topic for them, by the way)
And let all the contacts be in this one.

I will also add that you can work with metal objects, but without fanaticism. It is narrow and can stand upright.
With all its advantages, there is still a drawback: you need an additional container for draining fat (liquid), and it does not heat up as intensely than 95.
I originally wanted to buy it, but Mashunya turned out to be quicker, so I bought 4.4 - now I don’t regret it! I have a lot of space, so I fold it and keep it standing.
Masinen
Yes, 95 has a special fat tray, which is very convenient.
The plates are washed well.
Yes, and can also be stored upright.

I agree that Contact grills should be left in one topic, they do not have much big differences! But Barbecue can be made a separate topic - obviously a different approach to them is needed !!!

Thank you for the detailed answers, there was still a question, at 95, as I understood there are slots for dripping fat, is it possible to somehow use it for smoking? for clarity, so that it would be understood what I mean Electric grills contact Steba

Mashun, but does it make sense to highlight barbecue, if no one else has them? There is still nothing to discuss. Maybe then, as their discussion begins, take everything out separately?

I stand at a crossroads: Shtebochka 95 is good, but Profi Cook is not bad either (judging by the video on the tube). Girls, please answer who has a Profi Cook PC-KG 1030 grill. What are your impressions?
Masinen
Shteba seems to me better from ProfiCook.
Take FG95 and you won't regret it))
no unnecessary electronics, mechanical control, which is best) It will last longer)

So I was curious about Electronic miracle! Why is there so much electronics in the grill, I don't think it's very reliable! In our grills (in 4.4 there is for sure, but in 95 I think the same thing) there is protection against overheating (that is, it turns off when the maximum temperature is reached and turns on if the temperature is below the set one). In case of repair, it will be easier to fix.

Ask the manager of Steba about washing in the dishwasher? I'm waiting for an answer, as I can wait, I'll write right away !!!

The manufacturer (Germans) answered that the plates can be washed, but they do not recommend

I understood this so that if you use the grill 2 times a year, then you can safely wash it in the PM and the non-stick coating will last for a long time, and if you wash in the PM often, the coating gradually collapses and after a few years will lose its properties.
This also applies to grills 4.4 and 95

And how is it stored in your standing position? In the same place, the lid is not fixed - it will fall. And from below add. plate and pallet fall out

Here are my Waffles All in parentheses are my changes):
The original recipe from the Steba instructions - Creamy Shoes, yield 10-12 pcs. (24 pieces):
-3 egg whites, beat until peaks form (just beat with a pinch of salt, peaks did not work)
-Fold into a bowl:
* 250 grams of flour (I had 230 grams of leftovers)
* 250 g sour cream (I have sour cream 100 g + 20 mil water + 100 g classic curd Agusha)
* 3 egg yolks
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 lemon - juice (I didn't have it)
I also allowed myself to add Sugar 100 gr + butter 70 gr to the Original recipe.

Beat everything and gently add whites. (The dough is thick enough, so the proteins did not interfere with a spoon, I did everything with a blender). The dough is a little thicker than for pancakes.

Here's the result:

Super waffles! And most importantly, that thin (but probably not as thin as a hornand, huh?) and crispy because in waffle makers these are thick and soft

the same can be said about frequent use, the more often you cook, the faster the coating wears off.

Thank you! They are thin, but maybe a little thicker than in the horn. They were completely dry by the evening - they crunch ... Cool, my girls took them apart quickly. And the thickness is probably like store waffles, those that go for cakes, with a large reflex ...

I have a grill pro cook 1030, or rather it was, because after 2 months of use the temperature sensor flew. The service center said that they could not replace the part, due to the lack of it .. But another problem is that I bought a grill in a German store and I don't know if I have a guarantee for it or not
Masinen
Elena, as far as I know, there is no guarantee for equipment from abroad. Only if you return it to where you bought it.

Looks very appetizing! Do you pre-soak the eggplants?

Today I made my roulettes for dinner the same on the grill - though delicious !!! I completely forgot that there is a stove at home !! I'm afraid I will see the electricity bill enough blow me!
Masinen
Marin, I never soak eggplants.
I cut them lengthwise and smeared them with olive oil and salt. While the grill was heating, they lay and soak.
Well, very tasty !!
Well, then you will tell me what the score will be))
spring
I use the grill almost every day, about 20 kW has increased in a month, and the steba pressure cooker takes a little more than a Panasonic one, so it hasn't increased much. I also grease the eggplants with olive oil and do not salt, immediately grill for 230, until they become almost transparent fried.
Mar_k
Although not so much reeled from September 23 to November 12, that is, in a month and a half 424 kilowatts and multiplying by 4.01 it turns out to be 1,700.
More precisely, I'll tell you when the November receipt will come! And this is taking into account warm floors, an endlessly working cooler for hot water, computers and a burning light throughout the apartment (energy-saving lamps).

Hello! I want to come to your club * Steba * because I got my husband and he bought an FG 95, and I'm not afraid to spoil what to do with him, he is now frying sausages, and for the evening he ordered meat and even invited my mother-in-law * JOKINGLY * I will make a pork neck. Please advise the thickness of the piece and at what temperament. and time to do
Masinen
Elena, congratulations on the excellent grill !!!
Cut the neck as for a frying pan. It is better to fry the first 10 minutes for 230, and then reduce 180)
And in time, I think about 15 minutes probably) I have not fried the neck yet.
I fry the chicken parts for 20 minutes, because the chicken has bones. Yes, and at max temperature for 15 minutes, and then I translate to 180 and they reach))
Masinen
Yes, for meat and chicken and in general, I prefer to use both grooved plates. And on a flat level, you can just fry potatoes)) as in a pan)

Yesterday they brought me a long-awaited grill. I chose for a long time, at first I wanted 95, then 4.4, and bought the 70th. I was attracted by the price, first of all, in terms of power it is the same as 95, there is a tray for collecting fat and juices, two removable panels, one ribbed and one flat. I liked the look very much:

Cvetaal, my big congratulations !!
Very cool grill!
I liked that you can adjust the position of the top plate, those are the gap.
On mine, only 1 gap and too high for baking tortillas)
And on yours you can swag the cakes)
Cvetaal
Mashenka, thank you I hesitated for a long time, even ordered the 95th, and when I came to pick it up, I noticed traces of exploitation, such good marks, caked drops of fat, well, I refused ... And this one already has 6 positions in height!
Mar_k
Cvetaal, my congratulations to you!
Except cakes and cheese cakes, you can cook anything you like! This is a plus when the positions can be fixed, you won't press anything!
Cvetaal
Marina, thank you for your congratulations! I've already baked a whole slide of pancakes, they turn out lush. While I really like the grill, it does not splash when frying, cleanliness and order around. If you could still buy removable panels ...

Hello! I wanted to consult with you, but I can’t decide on the choice of Steba PG 4.4 or Philips HD6360 / 20. I am looking for a gift for a young man, mainly for steaks from meat and fish, and of vegetables. About Steba 95 they write that it splashes, I wonder how with this in 4.4? And in Phillips, the lid is glass, the design - but it heats on one side (
Can't determine what is more relevant for steaks - to turn over or to heat from 2 sides at once? I would be grateful for your answers, thanks!

Steba 95 does not sprinkle anything. Where to sprinkle it from? It's still closed.
