Can such a sieve be used in our pressure cooker? ..
Natalia, this steamer cannot be used in a pressure cooker. This is dangerous! Indeed, because of the sides, the CB lid will not fit snugly against the pan. But in a slow cooker - please.
Look at this sieve:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=369663.0... You can pick up a steamer and from any model of a multicooker.
Natali73
It's a pity, the store told me that it is possible. Traded, as always, a thousand for the wind. I bought it in Technosila. I wanted manti and cook vegetables.
Shelena
Natalya, isn't it possible to return or exchange it for something else for 1 thousand rubles?
Natali73
I've already thrown out the box. Maybe I'll give it to my friends, or I'll cook manty on a saucepan on gas, I'll put a sieve on the pan with a lid, and you'll get a double boiler.

keep yourself, good steamer
You are in a scary place, here everyone gets devaysomania, the atmosphere is very contagious
I'm sure you won't stop at one pressure cooker, and soon an ordinary cartoon that cooks without pressure will join it. And for this multicooker, this sieve is what the doctor ordered)
Natali73
I already understood about the place. After all, I went to read reviews about the Berner Rocco grater for Korean carrots, in the end I bought all the Berner graters a complete set, a pressure cooker, because they praised raw vegetables cut into cubes, now I want a dryer for fruits, so you are completely right about the atmosphere. Well, the recipes are affordable and delicious. But I'm glad I got to this forum!
Slavutchanka
A dryer is essential. The harvest of fruits and berries this year exceeded all expectations - everything was dried. And vegetables too

And I have such a sadness ... I made my favorite corn porridge 3 times and all 3 times it stuck to the bottom, forming a light brown crust. I did this: 1 glass of cereal to 5 parts of milk and 1 glass of water, salt, sugar, a piece of butter. [Porridge - 30 minutes, pressure 2].
Slavutchanka
Xsintu, why cook for so long? I cook for 15 minutes. A 30 in a normal cartoon
Xsintu
I like the porridge to be completely boiled down And I am not confused by the burnt crust, but the rest of the eaters are confused ... (
Slavutchanka
Cook for 15 minutes and 15 minutes on the heat. And you will be happy
Sone4ka
Girls, what is the quietest program in this cartoon?
I can't check it personally, I gave it for a couple of weeks to good girlfriends' hands, who have renovations in the kitchen.
She can't make friends with the pressure yet and asks if she can be covered with a regular lid. But we need a program where the seething would be minimal. Is there such a thing (except for warming up))?

Do you need to pour less milk? What would have been thicker?
Slavutchanka
I boil 1 to 5
Xsintu
Next time I'll try as you advised

Ksenia, do you want to try to change the pressure? It seems to me that the porridge will not burn for 1. I would try: "Porridge", pressure 1, time - 20 minutes. And on "Heating" for 5-10 minutes.
Yuri198
Hurrah! Today they brought the second bowl, like Elena's from LandLife from Kazan.
Yuri198
I'm talking about mine again, about condensed milk. I found seven ways to cook condensed milk on the Chef's Tips website. I grasped the principle and found a suitable recipe. On 'frying', pressure 2 brought the milk to a boil, then transferred pressure to 'warming up' 2. When it boiled for about 20 minutes, added sugar, slightly stirred with milk, a little vanilla. Cooked for almost an hour. I really liked the taste, made the child with a chocolate bar.
I tested the new bowl - everything is amazing.

sugar with milk powder?
and how is the consistency?
Yuri198
Only milk and sugar, no dry sugar. I want to try with dry. Consistency, I got it like liquid sour cream, but the larger the April, the thicker, but it also becomes sugar-coated. I also realized that you don't need a lot of sugar - the main thing is to boil it down first. Next time I will.

This is a lot of time.
I do 1 to 3. And after I started taking water / milk in equal proportions, the crust disappeared. I do it on the porridge mode. PRESSURE only 1! Time 20 minutes and then 15-20 minutes on heating.

If the pressure is 2, it is always a crust.
Girls, I'm in a very scary overhaul right now. If it were not for our Polechka, my husband and I would have died of hunger! If someone else hesitates to take or not to take - UNDEFINITELY take !!!

And in Polechka, on the Curd program, does it really work out? Has anyone ever been to him? And How?

Hello, today I cooked wheat porridge and peas, I had no idea that it would turn out so delicious, otherwise I would have bought myself such a pressure cooker long ago. I never ate pea porridge so tender, did not soak peas, cooked it for 30 minutes.
Shelena
Natalia, Congratulations on the pressure cooker! Let it only please!

Brought a new recipe for soup.

I bought in "Our Service" 25gr + delivery. Today I hope to test it because my assistant was also on sick leave but because of a problem with blood pressure. Today I'm just picking up from repair. Hopefully it will work as the previous repairs were not successful.
R.S. I apologize for the late reply. I have not visited the forum for a long time so as not to get upset once again

boiled pork has been in the multitude for an hour, the "meat on bone" mode and 20 minutes on heating and still bleeds when punctured

I just checked it, it's already "on order". I ordered on December 7th. I saw it on the site for a long time, but due to the fact that the cartoon did not work, I did not order. After another repair, to celebrate, I ordered it directly in the service center of our city. Today I tested both the cartoon after repair and a new ring - I prepared pilaf. Without comments. I hope my favorite will serve for a long time. I bought it 2 years ago. I cooked in it daily. The O-ring did not cause any particular complaints. I decided to buy a new one in reserve + so that, for example, after cooking borscht, I could immediately cook sweet, milk porridge. Immediately I was scared that the new ring is much smaller, but as it turned out all the rules, the old one just stretched out a lot. By the way, this site has a lot of spare parts for our cartoon. Although a couple of months ago, when I first came across it, there were even more. I will throw the link in a personal message since I am writing from a phone on which a terrible browser.

Girls, tell me please, did anyone cook pilaf according to the recipe, where he put everything at once, installed the program and that's it? Or is the result better when you fry everything in order?
Shelena
Marina, welcome to our warm company of Polaris owners!
In my opinion, pilaf tastes different without roasting. It turns out just porridge with additives. But, when time is running out, and the family is not picky, then an accelerated option can be applied.
Sour cream
Shelena, Thank you
I understood about pilaf)
Only I don't have Polaris (my husband was given a Supra - a multicooker at work). I just wanted Paul, and this thread is my favorite, I always read it. Both the people and the recipes are wonderful
Shelena
Marina, in a slow cooker you can cook in a different way.
If there are automatic programs, then, as a rule, the products are fried at the end, and the lower tier of carrots and onions will brown itself. If there is no such regime, then make pilaf on the "Pastry". Slightly fry the onions and carrots, add the meat, let it all fry / simmer on the "Pastry", and then add rice.
Thank you for such attention to our thread. May your dream come true in the new year!
Muzochka
Girls, tell me.

If the biscuit recipe says that you need to bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes, then how long does it bake in our pressure cooker? 50 minutes?
CurlySue
Muzochka,
I think less.
BUT write ON WHAT NUMBER OF EGGS do you make it? Generally. depends on the portion.
Keep in mind that everything is very airtight in a multicooker ... it usually bakes faster.
It was in this cartoon that I did not bake (I have 3 of them), but I would bake for 30-40 minutes and then open it quickly and pierce it with a toothpick:
all this needs to be done with lightning speed: so that if you don't finish it, you close it again and finish it.
Although, it would be ideal to make the first trial, eat with a tea ...
And the second - for the holiday.
Sour cream
Shelena, there is a pilaf mode) Thanks again for the clarification There are more cooking options)
Holiday greetings

Hello. should the countdown be how the pip goes up? The valve is in the pressure position. But the pip rises and steam comes out of the valve. The letter P does not appear on the screen
Shelena
sofikoo, have you figured out the pressure set?
Perhaps you had a full pot of liquid, in which case the pressure cooker builds up pressure for a long time: 20-30 minutes. Or the valve was not closed, but then it would have to float from under the cover.
Nyusyak
Hello! I haven't read everything to the end, maybe someone else had such a question, I will ask you to answer again. Steam is constantly coming out of the valve, or rather from the hole next to me. I tried it in different modes, it turns out there is no pressure inside, I tried to turn the valve in different directions. It seems to me that it should not be so? and cooks as fast as cooking.
Nyusyak
Maybe it's a marriage? Or do you need to configure something?
Nyusyak

Hello everybody! My father-in-law gave me this pressure cooker on NG.Everyone was afraid to approach this terrible unit! Then I found your forum and after reading everything, I somehow calmed down. And there are a lot of useful and interesting recipes here. Now I'm with you :)
Iguanna
Already tried a lot of everything in it, except for baking. Today the poses are for a couple. The beauty!!!
Iguanna
NyusyakFor the first time, I also had something similar. The pressure did not build up and the timer did not work. The next time I heard that everything was squirming and hissing there, I just pressed the lid tightly on the side where the lid holder was - I took two handles by pressing them tightly. I held it like that for half a minute and then about two minutes later - the letter P flashed and the time began to count down. I thought it was due to the fact that it is new and the elastic is very tight, not developed. And now everything is fine. I did it several times.
Nyusyak
thanks for the answer! : flowers: yesterday all night I figured out what was the matter and finally realized that there is a security lock curve, it turns out that it does not enter and does not work, rests and does not pass, and when you turn the lid a little to the right, the inputs coincide and it is fixed, in general a defect in the castle. I think I can, under the guarantee, surrender to subdue or get used to it and I will cook like that
