people help someone thread, water with steam began to run out in the middle of cooking
Natalie@
Stanislav, please describe in more detail. What did you cook, on what pugime, to what mark did you fill the saucepan with liquid? You could unnoticeably move the O-ring when closing, maybe the valve needed to be corrected or cleaned. There can be many reasons.
18Stac68
so at first they cooked jellied meat somewhere in 30 minutes the broth began to rapidly leave the pressure cooker, but we were not at a loss and turned it off nafig .... here. Then, after I washed and dried it, they tried to cook rice ..... Well, the same damn story t put the program rice pilaf 12 min medium pressure after 5-7 min again everything hissed and the water climbed over the edge ... on your forum read about the silicone gasket decided to dry today, I'll try to cook ...... Well, something like that
Natalie@
Stanislav, through which hole did the broth leave the pressure cooker? Did it come from under the lid, or did it come from the valve, or from the security lock? Where from?
If from the security lock, then steam should come, not broth. If the valve is turned to the "closed" position, the steam will calm down after 30 seconds and then everything will work quietly. When steam is released, small droplets of water may be sprayed, but the broth should not be pushed around with a stream.
If it's just from under the cover, then the impression is that either the cover is crooked / incorrectly covered, or there is no O-ring under the rim.
And the silicone gasket, if we are talking about the same thing, will not help you. It is more for baking so that it does not burn. You need to look inside the lid. Is there a thick silicone ring around the rim of the lid?
Valyushechka_ya
For some reason, it seems to me that there was no ring ...

Zannetochka, is the lid blocked on the rice?
I put the charlotte on the rice, the lid did not lock, but the countdown began. I opened the lid and looked, thought that there was no point in this idea and put it on baking.
Inessa, I also started the countdown, but the lid did not lock, the difference is that the charlotte was cooked a little faster, but I should try to cook it again to compare how much faster it will cook on rice.

Hello everyone) I recently got this pressure cooker. I decided to cook the meat as in a pot (layers of pork, potatoes and a tomato on top, smeared with sour cream, poured 1 measuring glass of water. Put it on stewing, high pressure (3), valve closed, for 30 minutes. After 20 minutes I felt a burning smell, turned it off, The lid opened easily. The meat that was burnt underneath, all the water boiled away. I had a question: What did I do wrong. Either there is not enough water or too high pressure?
And I don't understand the principle of the pressure cooker a little, in speeches it is often indicated that the liquid is at least 1 glass and as I understood this is enough to stew the meat, then why did it burn so badly for me.
And if, for example, I want to cook soup without pressure, like in a regular multicooker, so that in the process I could open the lid, what about the valve. Or so you cannot do and cook with pressure only. If the valve is not closed, but a program is turned on, which provides for a closed valve, what can happen? I haven’t dealt with pressure cookers before. I'm confused

Congratulations on your purchase! I, too, recently bought such a cartoon. I cooked something and did not always get what I wanted, but the cartoon is not to blame. And let's start in order:
1. Carefully read the Passport,
2. Carefully read the section on the forum about our multicooker,
3. The first time to cook something simple,
4. The higher the "pressure" the higher the temperature, and extinguishing implies a lower temperature.
Maybe someone more experienced will add, as well as read, read and read again!
sveta.khm
Xsintu, I first stew the meat for about 20 minutes, and then I add everything else, mix and put it on the slow cooker (here they suggested on the forum) for 15-20 minutes. Slow cooking potatoes are my favorite.
Xsintu
Next time I will definitely try on the slow cooker. Today I will experiment with porridge.

Carcass meat on Stew d.2 30 min. I don't add water, stew in its own juice. The other day I cooked - I marinated the meat (onion, salt, pepper, lemon juice) for 4 hours. After cooking in juice, the meat was already floating. I don’t know why you got burnt. Maybe the valve was not closed properly?
Xsintu
So I read reviews that when the valve is closed, in theory, it should not burn. I definitely closed it ...
sveta.khm
When you stew meat, there is a lot of liquid. And when there are still potatoes and little liquid, then I also burned.

And at the expense of those programs that by default need to be prepared under pressure, if you do not close the valve, what will be the result?

Steam will come out.
Xsintu
And when the pressure builds up, too, is there steam?
Rusalca

Yes, but he is walking slowly. And as soon as it went strong, the valve immediately closes.
Xsintu
I fell hard both times ... Maybe I'm doing something wrong here ...
Rusalca
Ksenia, maybe the valve is not closed properly? It should always be checked that the valve is in the closed position. Otherwise, steam will flow and the pressure cooker will not gain pressure.

Did you turn the valve all the way?
Xsintu
Yes...
Rusalca
Ksyusha, I do not know what to say. And try to pour plain water and when the steam hits the valve hard with something, can it still close?
Xsintu
Today, as soon as I reach home, I will immediately begin to conduct experiments!
Rusalca
And another question (the last hope). Do you turn the valve all the way clockwise or counterclockwise?
Xsintu
Um ... Clockwise to the "closed" position, but it scrolls, that is, it is not fixed, that is, it can be twisted and twisted.
Rusalca

You can twist it, but in the closed position it still reaches the stop. Try it when you're at home. He must still cling.
Xsintu
Ok then I'll unsubscribe what happened.

Ksenia, good luck!

And, here's another question, both times as I was preparing the lid was easily removed, that is, there was no pressure there, did I understand correctly? And how to understand that she relieved the pressure herself? The valve returns to the "open" mode by itself ?? How to understand that the pressure has dropped? I put it on heating for 2 minutes, I moved the lid, it came off easily ...
Rusalca
If the lid moves, there is no pressure. When the pressure cooker is pressurized, the lid is glued on.
Quote: Xsintu
The valve returns to the "open" mode by itself ??
No, he's not coming back.
Xsintu
Clear!
Xsintu
Fuf I cooked porridge, everything works fine and closes, I really don't know what the previous jambs are connected with, apparently I didn't have enough strength to close the lid then, so the steam was pouring. I cooked barley porridge: half a glass of cereal, 2.5 cups of milk and half a glass of water, porridge mode 35 minutes, pressure 2. Class !!
Xsintu
Thanks everyone for the advice!
Rusalca
Ksenia, HURRAH!

: girl_in_dreams: Hello, please tell me where to put on the condensate trap, I don't understand? Found it. Tell me, is it impossible to reset the setting in multivoks? I wanted to put the steamer mode, the instructions say to press the healthy food button several times, I pressed it once, but didn't want to go on, the legumes program turned out. I unplugged and plugged in again, the beans again, and the other buttons don't press. How to put on a double boiler? And I also asked the program for 40 minutes, and then changed my mind, let's say after 10 minutes, how can I turn it off. In the instructions it is written to cancel the program being executed before disconnecting from the network, but how to do it is not written. I tried to click on the cancel button, where the minus is not pressed. And another question is whether it is possible to put frozen vegetables, for example, zucchini, carrots, minced meat, in the multicooker bowl, or do you need to defrost everything first?

Zhenya I
Natasha, to cancel the program, you must press the cancel button itself. The downside is to change the cooking time to shorter. Frozen can be cooked.
Yuri198
Today I made condensed milk according to the recipe "Condensed Milk" in 10 minutes in a Steba multicooker. I cooked on "Fry", pressure 1, boiled very strongly, after 15 minutes the boiling was over. Poured it into a bowl, it thickened very much. Taste ........ sweet, but not as store-bought, can you add anything for flavor? But, I think that for smearing - beat with butter - cakes will do.
Slavutchanka
Not burnt out? How long did you cook? With the lid closed?
Yuri198
Not burnt, interfered with a silicone spatula constantly. The lid is open, I poured cold milk from the refrigerator, the countdown did not start, it took only twenty minutes maximum. Look at the consistency, you can read the basic principles in their discussion.
Natali73
Thanks for the answer. Today I bought a metal sieve for steam cooking for Polaris, I hope it will fit from Redmond, otherwise I had a supply in my set, somehow it was not convenient on it.

Good day everyone!
I have had a cartoon for a long time, but only now the need arose to make yogurt in it. Which program can you try to ferment? Do I need to pour water on the bottom, lay a towel under the cups?

There is no program, just like in a thermos. At the bottom, a towel or a silicone mat, pour jars up to their hangers with water heated to 40 degrees, you can up to 45, the water will quickly cool down to the desired temperature, so you should not worry about overheating.
Cover with a lid, on a towel to reduce heat dissipation. After about an hour, turn on the heating for a short time, literally for a few minutes and turn it off immediately. Repeat as the water cools.
the temperature can be measured with an ordinary mercury thermometer, if there is no other.
The first time will be confusing, and then adapt)
