Cooking method

  • For a long time I had this roll in my bookmarks. Not once I baked it, but the recipe for the biscuit dough was different every time. From simple to coffee. And each time the result was different. Today I offer you this recipe for this roll.
  • For biscuit dough
  • Beat eggs with sugar and icing sugar until dense. In a combine it takes about 10 minutes.
  • Sift flour with starch and add to the egg mixture. Stir gently.
  • Put part of the dough into a pastry bag and put on parchment paper.
    Roll Giraffe
  • I have little artistic ability, so I applied the pattern in advance. But when she began to apply the dough, the drawing did not help much.))
  • Add cocoa to the second half and stir gently until smooth.
  • Then put the first layer of dough in the oven, preheated to 180C, for 2-3 minutes.
  • After that, take out the sheet and apply a layer of dough with cocoa
    Roll Giraffe
  • Bake all together for another 10-12 minutes.
  • We take out the finished biscuit and turn it over. We remove the parchment on which it was baked, shift it to another and fold it. Let it cool.
    Roll Giraffe
  • Cream
  • The cream must be prepared in advance. To do this, boil the milk with sugar.
  • Beat the yolks with starch and cocoa. Pour a little boiling milk with sugar in a thin stream.
  • Then pour the yolk-milk mixture into boiling milk. And boil until thick.
  • Add coffee extract to the cooled cream. Stir until smooth.
  • Expand the cooled roll and grease with cream.

Sorry, but not all ingredients are in proportions. How much milk? Starch ...?
Also, milk does not appear in your description at all. Maybe it's in a glass for a drink?
Generally. tweak the recipe to look like the recipe.

Isn't it a pity to use grain so barbarously? Or do you then recycle them?

I have such a roll in the cookbook on Povarenka ... I was afraid, I thought that I could not cope with the white pattern, so my hands were growing from the wrong place (I don’t know how to draw) But I see you, it seems that the white drawing is not even, but in baking it turned out beautifully. : girl_claping: So I'll try this wonderful roll ...

CurlySue Well, if we regret everything, then where will we cook? And by the way, home-milled beans, my coffee machine or me do not recognize

vorobyshek, there is nothing complicated. Well, there will be no artistic drawing, but we are not artists, but lovers of baking something. I have a small mistake The sheet had to be greased. Then the drawing will be easier and smoother to move away from the paper. But if you want a prettier drawing, just print on paper and redraw onto parchment. If the kitchen is not on, I can drop different patterns for you

And what, the recipe is interested, I take in bookmarks. Natalia I have a question. In the photo, the parchment paper looks like mine, I bought it and I'm afraid to use it, there is no wax on it or something, I'm afraid everything will stick. though I will grease it. Such as mine? Thanks for the recipe, original! But so that I hear grains for the first time, I will definitely try everything!
Natali06
Olenka, try it for health! I don't know about the parchment, I just have to try it. It seems to me that if you smear it, the pattern will come out smoother
