Hello! I read about vegetables in the dishwasher. I was very surprised. Wow! Once I washed the toys from the sandbox (I decided to save time), then the sand was washed out for a very long time, although the toys were not very dirty. I will never do that again. Or are vegetables pre-washed?
Mandraik Ludmila
At our HP, they wash vegetables (a trifle of carrots, for example) in a washing machine, but in a bag like sugar, I want to try it too, but naturally, first the vegetables are rinsed just like that, and only then into the machine
They also wash silicone molds that have not been washed in the dishwasher, along with kitchen towels

Virgo, tell us more about washing vegetables. In CM or PM? And How?
And then there is a bag of small gift carrots. I'm afraid even to approach him

In my PM, both the shelves from the refrigerator and the mesh from the kitchen hood. What's included is mine. Also my cast-iron grates from the gas stove

Girls! Do not wash dirty vegetables in the dishwasher! The manufacturer warns that unglazed ceramics should not be washed, because it harms the "liver" or the main non-renewable organ - resin. The resin is clogged with the smallest microparticles from unglazed ceramics, but what will happen from the silicon contained in the soil? And to change the resin - 70% of the cost of the dishwasher.

What nonsense? Dirty water from the chamber can never get into the resin. The exchanger is installed on a line with clean incoming water.

What kind of manufacturer, if I may say so, came up with something new, allowing dirty, oily, soapy water to enter the holy of holies, into the ion exchanger?

Julia ***, and this is different for everyone. Sometimes a centimeter is not enough, and sometimes they fit. For accuracy, we take our baking sheet and try it on in the store, otherwise we will not know.
Belka13
You can cut a template the size of a baking sheet out of paper and try it on in the store. So as not to carry a heavy baking sheet with you. But it doesn't seem to fit. If only the upper basket is removed so that the spindle does not touch it during washing.
Julia ***
the trouble is that I'm just going to buy both, now there is no dishwasher, I think they won't let me try on in the store, but the place (you need to know the size of the dishwasher to make a kitchen. Does a tray fit in 60 cm? Maybe right away want her?
Belka13
Julia ***, why won't they? You can immediately say that you will buy both, and calmly try on. But 60 cm is naturally more comfortable. If space permits, it's better to want her. I washed - though, in my opinion, I put it a little diagonally.

Thanks girls for the answers! I'm just not sure that all this will be bought at the same time, most likely out of necessity, but I wanted 45 cm, because the children are almost grown up and most likely we will live together and a large dishwasher is not needed. And then I read that you wash them, and I so want, I hate to wash them.

Another question worries me, can anyone understand, there is a difference in the consumption of water and electricity. energy in 45 cm and 60 cm dishwashers. If I am not here, please poke your nose into the correct Temko (I found only the old one), because there is room for any, but in the kitchen every centimeter counts.
Iris
Julia ***, it is better to want 60 cm at once, if the space allows (although, as for me, it is not too big a difference if you plan in advance and there is no ready-made furniture yet) , the dishes will be enough for loading .. and the baking sheets easily become 60 cm, and many other overall things !!
You can also choose a machine with a half load and with height-adjustable baskets .. then, at all, happiness will fit EVERYTHING!

Another question worries me, can anyone understand, there is a difference in the consumption of water and electricity. energy in 45 cm and 60 cm dishwashers.
Our kitchen is not big. When we decided to buy a dishwasher, at first they looked, in general, the desktop version, but my sister dissuaded me. She just at that time bought herself at 45. I looked, the upper basket is removed, the baking sheet fits, and most importantly, the grate from the stove. Washing it is still a pleasure. And we decided the same that we were taking on 45, and there was already a kitchen project. I went to the store to buy, and I was lucky. Nearby were two dishwashers 45 and 60. Sixty was even cheaper, took it. The project had to be tweaked. Everything fits, you don't need to shoot anything. I used to think: why such a huge one, but as many years of operation have shown, the choice was right.
If you choose from the point of view of efficiency, then more dishes fit into 60, and the consumption of water and electricity is about the same, that is, you will have to start the machine less often. And if you choose a higher energy class, you can even save money.
In the instructions for dishwashers, as a rule, they indicate water consumption and energy consumption, you can compare and choose the best one.
Also pay attention to how quiet the machine works, for me it was important, as a rule 60 works quieter.
60 has a square chamber inside, and therefore one rocker washes better, because there are no blind spots, and if you take 45, it is better with two rockers, but this is a more expensive option.
If you are going to use dishwasher tablets, they are usually designed for a large machine, that is, 60 is more profitable from this point of view.
Go to the store, see it live, imagine how your dishes will fit into it, how much space will be left if you put a saucepan or a frying pan in it ... Previously, in some stores, plates were specially put in dishwashers to help the buyer determine the size, now it is not know ...
Buy a dishwasher and enjoy life, the skin of your hands will thank you so much, and the time freed from washing dishes can be used more pleasantly, and with the money saved on the water bill, you can buy yourself something useful. The bread maker will help.

When the kitchen is two square meters, you can't even imagine such a thing.
My brother had a kitchen 2 square meters, and this is not a fiction. And the bathroom was seated and there was no sink in the bathroom. So everything is reality
redleafa
I believe. Soon we will hang cars outside the window, not like washing machines overhead.
Gingi
When relatives were planning repairs in their miniature apartment, they seriously considered the option with a hanging washing machine.
I came across a photo on the Internet with a shower in the toilet. The shower was, as it were, on the podium, at the bottom in front of the toilet, and on the side of the toilet there were steps up to the shower. What the people will not come up with if there is no place.

Kinglet, I have a tabletop dishwasher. Yes, she eats the countertop, in my corner, where the sink is usually placed, that is, in a blind corner. I'm glad! I'm comfortable. I had 45 cm, I bought the desktop deliberately. But it is convenient for me, it may seem inconvenient to someone. My dishes once a day. Sometimes 2 times. We live together, but I am constantly at home, cooking and eating at home. The son used to be in tech, before that at school, now he is at work all day. The baby does not bother me. It's more convenient for me to start again than to save up dishes. And the main reason I like it is that you don't have to bend over.

Thank you very much for such a detailed review, otherwise I broke my head, by what criteria should I choose after all. It turns out, if you make a conclusion, is it more profitable to use 60? Bosch was bought from parents for a long time, in those days when nothing was known about dishwashers

There are also half-load dishwashers, so I think which is more profitable by 45 cm, or 60 with a half load?
Gingi
Anastasiay, we have different dishwashers in our family, though all Bosch. They were acquired at different times, the first appeared twenty years ago and is still alive. I have my own at 60cm, I think this option is more practical. Periodically, you have to load your parents' dishwasher at 45, so it feels like it fits in half as much as mine. It is much more convenient to place various pots and pans in my typewriter. You put a pan at 45 and nothing else will fit, but a 6L pan with a frying pan easily fits in and there is still room for different dishes. I can put the baking sheet in and it won't interfere with anything, you can use both shelves.
We have a family of three, I start the car once a day, usually at night, since the night rate is much cheaper.
As for the half load, I think that you shouldn't bother too much. It seems to me that with this mode of special economy you will not feel, it is more of a publicity stunt. When I was choosing my typewriter, I read a lot and I really came across a half-load machine, because it had a very unusual design, it consisted, as it were, of two halves (upper and lower pull-out drawers), one of them, I don’t remember which one turned off and turned out, really half a car. But it cost a dishwasher like a car.
If you start the car packed to the eyeballs, nothing terrible will happen. My machine has different washing modes: for crystal glass, for heavily soiled dishes, eco-friendly-economical, for washing baby bottles, just rinse and for not very dirty dishes. I have probably forgotten some.
All of them differ in temperature and time spent on washing.
As life has shown, I mainly use only the economy mode. The entire cycle consumes only 10 liters of water, energy class A ++. When I was choosing myself, I decided that it would be Bosch and looked at various models. I took the one that turned out to be the most economical and a little noisy, and of course you need to look at the drying principle that is used in the machine. I also wanted the car to be made in Germany, although they say that it doesn't really matter, but I wanted exactly German quality. I'm happy with mine, it saves a lot of energy and keeps peace in the family, now the question is: who will wash the dishes today? we shouldn't.
Sometimes I use the mode for crystal, the chandelier is washed perfectly, otherwise before hand wash each lens and wipe it off ... and then I loaded and took out a clean, dry one, shines and shimmers in the sun.
Iris
Anastasia, Take 60 cm .... Definitely, more intermeddle and, I think, the rotating sprinkler in any case, sprinkles water in a circle, so the inner section of the machine should approach the square .. otherwise there will be "dead" zones where water is not hits or doesn't hit enough ..
and more, .. the mode of washing baby bottles GREATLY sterilizes cans !!! In the harvesting season, an essential help !! A bunch of hot, dry sterile jars at once!
and yes! Chandeliers wash well too !!!
